slenle Sorry for the rough day. M’s class just started practicing for his play/concert that is in a few weeks and he keeps asking if he will have to sing in front of the parents. He doesn’t want to because he says he is shy. I keep trying to talk to him about it and encourage him. We’ll see how it goes when the time comes. They have two dress rehearsals in front of their peers at school before the parents, so I hope that helps.

Moms doctor squeezed dad in. He did an ekg and it came back bad. They found a heart murmur so he has to have an echo next week. It's a damn good thing he smashed his hand. He has a physical every September for insurance and they didnt detect anything then.

Thanks guys. H finally fell sleep after an hour crying in his room.
I’m curious what n will say when she comes home. She mentioned something last week about them practicing songs and she seemed fine with it then. I don’t think she realized what they were practicing for.

slenle With B's kinder Christmas concert he told me that there were kids that werent going to sing, but wanted to make sure that I knew they were still part of his class and that it was ok that they werent singing. So obviously there were kids that werent comfortable. Is there a way that you can chat with the teacher or to N and take away the pressure that she HAS to sing, that if she goes up with her class, that's amazing and totally still part of the group? IDK just throwing out ideas here, poor girl.

The earliest appt for the GI is Feb 27. My pedi said she'd see if she could get it moved up but it doesn't always work that way.
FX I can get in sooner. I'm just tired of my kids always being sick.

Actually most are totally cool about it! My credit card company is giving me 3 months with no fees to make payments. Surely to goodness I’ll have a paycheck by then. And several others are notating the acct and said they are working on something to put in place for this. But likely I won’t have to worry about anything getting disconnected. And we have money to get by on for a bit....but if I pay all the bills due that’ll be gone. So I’m negotiating what I can so we can use what we have for gas/groceries/misc. but we’ve cut out all extras like cleaning lady 😩 for now. Just trying to avoid having to borrow from my parents. Although they’ve already offered numerous times. But I’m really hoping to get through this soon without going further in debt! I have learned the value of savings. 😂. I fully plan to establish a better savings for the future after this. We have a good life and nice things. And when we want something, we get it. But we want things a lot...lol. So anytime we get a little $$ socked back, we end up seeing something we just *have* to have. But this has been a good lesson to us in the importance of having a few months salary saved back. It doesn’t help that we also drained what little savings we had on a kick ass vacation a few months ago. PDQ my fiscal irresponsibility. Lol. |

They put me on the wait list for all of the other TCH locations, as well. |

IDK just throwing out ideas here, poor girl. This is what we did for her Christmas program. Told her she just had to go up and we’d be happy, didn’t care if she sang. Well, she went up in the front of the church and cried the whole 10 minutes she was up there. Her teacher was squatting down next to her behind the podium and holding her hand... and she just stood there crying off and on☹️ I just don’t get it! She’s been in dance recitals and sang at church before, but the last 6 months have been terrible. I talked to her last week about her preschool graduation and dance recital (both in May) and she seemed okay knowing she did them both last year without being scared. |

But in the meantime I would take notes (im sure you already are) as you wait of each episode...how long it lasts, how she acts, what she ate,ect. That way when they try to tell you to give it a bit and document, you can say “done, next step please”. |

(With biting, he has hit a few times too) He’s now the oldest in the toddler room and will be starting to transition to the preschool room over the next couple months. Hopefully that’ll help. |

When a dr says “give me a little over a week to review things and decide on the next step” how long would you give before calling?
We saw the dr on Tuesday last week. Is Wednesday this week too soon to call? Or should I wait till Thursday or Friday? I hate the waiting game.
