Also MIL is laying a big guilt trip on dh (and will me today) about letting her watch ds one day a week until he goes in the toddler room. Ugggg. I like he would have consistency going all 4 days. Yes, it would save us money. Dh is open to it I think because she laid the “last grandchild” line. I kind of feel obligated that we at least ask dc whether they would basically hold his 4th day space open for us because we do lean on ILs for help on closed holidays or when the kids are sick. I’m just annoyed with possibly another change to his schedule.

My vet just told me that I need to bring a fresh stool sample to my cats appointment on Monday. Dude. I have two cats and two kids. I do not have the ability to do poop watch. He's not old and isn't sick. 🤷 That is not happening.

So any other kids starting to have tantrums or just mine? N will legit throw himself to the floor and scream if we take something away/say no. Half the time I re-direct, half the time I ignore. Not sure what the best thing to do.
My other two never really had tantrums this early- more so around 2-2.5years old. So not sure how to deal with this so early.

And also didn't experience tantrums this early with ds1.

Tonight is going swimmingly.... Ds2 has had multiple scream-crying wake ups already. At least Shawshank redemption is on while I wait for ds2 to fall back asleep. Hopefully the Tylenol kicks in soon. These are the times I really hate that H is on nights.

Ds1 did start this early too. It was one of the big reasons I started pushing baby sign language. Most of ds2's tantrum behaviors stem from ds1 taking a toy away from him though. So it's ds1 being a jerk. 🤷

If I take something away or try to pick her up to move her/leave somwhere, she tries to throw herself on the floor and cries.

Last night was brutal, but I texted my H to bring home McDonald's breakfast and coffee so I'm doing okay. I told ds1 I'd take him outside once ds2 goes down for his first nap. I failed to check the weather and it is currently 2* with a feels like -13*. Of course there is no reasoning with a 4.5 y/o so we'll be bundling up and heading out soon. Hopefully I can convince him to come inside after 5 minutes lol.

cdnfarmgirl yup we’ve got tantrums over here too. He screams if I take something away and he does thing where he tries to make himself all limp and throws his head back if I pick him up while he’s tantruming.

I guess that's the beauty of having really good winter gear. But now we're back in the nice cozy house. I have a lot of laundry to catch up on 😬

Well this weekend has been a complete right off. We went to my parents last night to celebrate my dad's 60th birthday. We got snowed in. Luckily I had packed a few things to prepare for that (clothes, diapers etc). I did manage to forget a bottle and some formula for DD2, but no big we just made sure she ate a ton for dinner. Everyone went to bed great at 630-7 ish. Fast forward to midnight and I was up all night with one girl or another. DD2 wouldnt be put down for the life of her and DD1 caught croup from DD2. She sounds awful and is very wheezy, no extra work of breathing though so I'm hesitant to take her in. DH barely slept because he claims DS was kicking him all night. Ds says he slept great so I dunno. Dad is out plowing right now, as a couple of his properties need to be seen for no hot water/no heat calls. And I have so much studying/brushing up on fetal health surveillance for work tomorrow that I may have to pull an all nighter. Yawn. And it's too cold (windchill of -30C) to even go out and enjoy the snow.

Hi, ladies. I have been MIA for a couple days! Work was pretty busy but we also had DD1’s sleepover last night and a busy day so phew I am spent. But her friend left a few minutes ago and DD2 is napping, so I’m enjoying some Million Dollar Listing and folding laundry. The house is actually tidy and clean and it feels so nice!

I know a lot here already have two, but I can't believe there haven't been any pregnancy announcements yet! I realized the other day that if I wanted kids two years apart (which I don't, but I think is pretty common in my friend group) I'd have to get pregnant a month from now. So not ready for that! Also surprised no one is pregnant yet. My bestie found out she was pregnant with her second at only 6mpp. Took them two years of IF to have their first. The universe is funny sometimes. Is your bestie my sister? 🤣 exactly same, down to 2 years of IF. It took 3 IUIs to conceive my first nephew. Boom pregnant at 6 months pp.

Woke up dry! One tiny accident as he was pulling down his jammies - I wish he would go with just undies, but he likes his legs & feet covered, damn eczema. He is doing better than my almost 5 year old who is still in nighttime pull ups. She has been day trained since 3.5. Nothing we do helps at all, so I’m hoping she just grows out of it. 🤷♀️

Ds2 has foiled my nap plans. But I did book a night away for me and H in a few weeks so at least there's something to look forward to.

Nope, still full. 🤷🏼♀️ She’s just over 3, but has been daytime PT since Sept. oh well.

So our hurdle, as continued from other attempts, is pooping in the potty. Hoping it will just click, but he is mentioning poop just after he lets it out. Yesterday he held it, I do not want him holding it, because that is a whole other host of problems and I would rather diapers.
Found and put up all the photos we have of the boys. Realized we need to print photos from birth for 1, 2 & 3, 1 year for 3 & 4. MIL printed a canvas from last fall and now I want them from the years past too. Hi, I’m Clucky and I want to line my walls with family photos.

She finally got knocked up on her sixth and final round of clomid and was able to cancel their RE consult. And reason number a billion to not just accept clomid from your OB; she found out AFTER she had a thyroid problem that is commonly linked to IF. Got on meds for it and was knocked up basically immediately (not trying) upon starting them.

I have zero plans to actively night train DD1 who wears a pull-up to bed despite having been day trained for a year now. She's fine for naps without one and she pees right before bed but still wakes wet most mornings. I'm hoping she just grows out of it but now I'm wondering if I out to actually try...
