Ds2 only had that one (long) wake up last night. He was chirping a little around 630 but settled down on his own. I feel slightly more human. Ds1 woke up around 3 to tell dh that he didn't like his night light.
Also I think I'm going to start selling Usborne books. I really like them and I have a million already. Maybe when I'm done with all my contract work in February.
Hope everyone had sleeping babies last night!

grumpycat RE sleep training from the other thread... H got all in a huff and a puff one night that we’ve been doing it wrong all this time since B nurses to sleep. I was pretty much like “well if you would have been more involved in the last 6 months of his life...”. B ended up in our bed with Tylenol at 3am. H said he didn’t sleep much. I told him to suck it up because he gets to go on a business trip Thurs-Saturday. He did say it was B snoring that kept him up which is adorbs. Guess it’s time to look for a cool mist humidifier for him (we run whole house so we haven’t had problems yet)

rooskie it sounds like the couch will be a nice quiet spot for your H. 🙄 Dh gets annoyed when ds2 only wants me in the middle of the night. Like duh. All he's done is change his diaper and hand him over. Of course he only wants me.

Last night wasn't horrible- two wake ups but I expected much worse. We have entered the separation anxiety stage of life though so drop off was sad this morning. I am sure he got over it quickly but I still hate seeing those tears!

I guess I'm lucky because my H is the one who gets up more in the middle of the night than I do with E.
*I think he took on a lot of the sleep issues with him because my maternity leave and breastfeeding E was so terrible. I think my H wanted to take something off my shoulders*

I am here at work. Looks like the weather is going to cooperate this week on allowing us to have 5 full days of school. We didn't send N to preschool this morning and opted to send him all day to daycare. Neither boy is contagious and they are feeling a lot better. N still needs to keep it easy though and it is better if he had fewer kids to get worked up around.

Add me to the cranky teething baby club. We are fully out of Tylenol and motrin so I need to get more today. Saturday night he was up every two hours, just screaming, but thankfully he slept through last night. It was cold all weekend so we didn't get out much. Weather is supposed to be warmer this week and then cold again this weekend so we will be trapped again it seems. Oh well.

grumpycat - I’ve already told H he is tribute for bedtime for #2 some day. B is just now in the last month or two going to H some and getting excited to see him. 9 times out of 10 he wants me, happy or not.

My office is freezing today. It's always cold but today it's terrible. They typically turn it off on the weekends so I don't know of someone forgot to turn it on earlier this morning so it's taking forever to heat up or what- I need a blanket and gloves lol!

My work closed today for snow, but H’s didn’t. N’s daycare opened late so H dropped him off on his way (the main roads around here are mostly fine, side roads still a little icy apparently). So I have a day to myself and YAY.
I’ll probably go grocery shopping later, and try and get a few things done around the house. And just enjoy some quiet.

Quoting myself because they did in fact purposefully leave our heat off for some maintenance and didn't tell us. It's getting warmer now!

It is an adjustment but before you know it he's going to want to be there more than home DD is always like 'peace, mom'. She really likes moving her little magnet from out to in on the in/out board. I'm interested to see what they say at pickup about her walking today (or not). Can anyone else's baby say their own name yet? I guess it helps that everyone calls her Jojo so it's pretty easy to say, but it's super cute

It is an adjustment but before you know it he's going to want to be there more than home I know. DD loves school so it will definitely happen eventually. Just a big adjustment for him after so long with the nanny and of course we have sep. anxiety coinciding. Joy!!

My little guy has been going to the same place since 3mo and just recently started crying at drop off so it's just the stage not really the change. But it sure is hard to leave them like that!

Hello! We went to an indoor water park in WI Dells with my whole side of the family over the weekend. It was so much fun! Both boys did great in the water parks, slept well, and we just had a wonderful time. Of course we’re all exhausted today though. I would really love a day off at home to clean and organize things all by myself but that won’t happen any time soon. Actually I’m going for dinner tonight with a couple of coworkers but I might head home early to fold laundry and watch the bachelor. I hope everyone affected by the snow storms stay warm and safe!

Hi, all. I caught up on the last thread and see I am not alone with the teething baby. At least, I think that is it. C just wanted cuddles last night. And then she would pop her head up and give me her cheese grin. Not amused, C.
So, I got very little sleep last night but still managed to get up for my workout. So I have that going for me. And I am leaving work early for a dentist appt, so yay?

N has been mostly STTN, although he does whine/cry when he has little wake ups. At least he puts himself right back to sleep. I actually had to wake him up this morning. He is part of the teething club, with 1 molar part of the way through and the other 3 right there. Poor thing.
N still doesn't really have words outside of mama and dada but started saying Buh-bye when waving this morning. He also does the hand motions for "Bringing home a baby bumblebee" and OMG, I die from cuteness. If you sing it, he gets a huge grin, hums, along, and waves his little clasped hands back and forth.
My work is SO crazy now through March. I am hoping to keep up and post as much as I can.

Maybe if B is STTN by then we’ll talk about #2. 🤪😂😭☕️ I know a lot here already have two, but I can't believe there haven't been any pregnancy announcements yet! I realized the other day that if I wanted kids two years apart (which I don't, but I think is pretty common in my friend group) I'd have to get pregnant a month from now. So not ready for that!

I’m pretty sure we are going to wait until the beginning of 2020 to do a transfer, but I figure we should give it the old college try before going through a FET.

I was thinking this too. I was pregnant (with a loss) just before DD turned 1! We were crazy naive about how “easy” DD was plus we figured we would need the RE again so influenced how early we started trying again. Then surprise! if we decide to go for #3, we are having a bigger gap. ] Can’t wait for some announcements though!!
