DS cried every hour until 1, and I was up for an hr with DD at 2:30, and DS was now up for the day at 5:15. 😭😭😭 and we are out of coffee!! I’m treating myself to SB after drop off but 8:15 is so far away.... 😭😭😭😭😭😭 Rough! DD2 is a hot mess. She went to bed at 530 yesterday after napping for like 25 minutes. Then woke up at 730 and was miserable until just after 11 when I dumped her back in her crib because she wouldn't go to sleep. It's 9am, she's been up for 90 minutes and I've already put her back down in her crib. she'll be fun at daycare the rest of the week.

I don’t want to jinx myself, but after a month of sleep hell B slept 7-5am then 5:30-7:30. It was glorious. 10/10 do not expect it to happen again.
He also ate everything that wasn’t bolted down last night for dinner so I think we might have a growth spurt soon.

My mom is here to watch the kids and I'm off to a dentist appointment/quick Target run. Got my period. Yayyyyy. I ate something my stomach didn't like so that's fun.
Ds2 slept ok ish last night. At least dh didn't try sleep training again. 🙄

I met with a nutritionist today to help me better navigate DS2's milk allergy and get him the nutrition he needs. We really have to work on increasing his soy milk intake, we are way below his requirement. She also told me to add fats in his food where I can to make up the loss of not drinking whole milk. I'm feeling a lot better about things!
I also took the whole day off so now I'm just bumming around! We're getting nee carpet in our basement so someone will be coming out to measure but after that I have no plans! Maybe grocery shop and nap 😊

I know a lot here already have two, but I can't believe there haven't been any pregnancy announcements yet! I realized the other day that if I wanted kids two years apart (which I don't, but I think is pretty common in my friend group) I'd have to get pregnant a month from now. So not ready for that! I was thinking this too. I was pregnant (with a loss) just before DD turned 1! We were crazy naive about how “easy” DD was plus we figured we would need the RE again so influenced how early we started trying again. Then surprise! if we decide to go for #3, we are having a bigger gap. ] Can’t wait for some announcements though!! NOT GOING TO BE ME!!!! LOL.

My mom has pneumonia now and my night last night was a mess. My H was at his office 2 hours away and so I did bedtime solo. Kudos to those single parents out there. I don't know how they do it. Both kids were a huge mess and I couldn't wait for bedtime. Then E was up at 10, 10:30, 11:00, 2:15, and 3:40. I see E must be feeling better since he's back to his usual tricks. I did the 10:30, 11, and 2:15 wake ups and now I'm so tired. I probably got 4 hours of sleep as usual.
I was supposed to go to DC this weekend for the woman's march but we had to cancel. Between my mom being sick and a potential large snow storm on Sunday it just wasn't meant to be. Which is a total bummer.

We are supposed to get a big snow Friday night into Saturday and temps not rising above 0*F on Sunday. Not ideal. My H has to work on Saturday and I really didn't want to be trapped in the house with these monster children all day. It is only going to get to 15*F on Saturday so no outside time either. We are going to eat each other alive.
I am really hoping the forecast changes at least to drop the snow down a bit. Even if I can just take the kids to Target for a while I would be happy.
I am involuntarily being put on another committee at work. As if the two I am already on weren't enough. And yet somehow I am expected to still do the million other jobs I have. The perils of being one of the longest tenured employees. Ugh.

Hope your mom gets well soon sarahandben108. ldubhawksfan, that is brutal. DD didn't sleep great last night either. roloma, two committees sounds like plenty. My work is pretty committee happy too, it's a bit annoying.

An email once and a while could easily take the place.

Well my BP is still high so I ordered a wrist monitor off Amazon so I can start monitoring it and checking when I'm not super anxious at a doctors office. Tomorrow I'll call to schedule a physical. It's been awhile. 🤷

DD is always like 'peace, mom'. She really likes moving her little magnet from out to in on the in/out board. I'm interested to see what they say at pickup about her walking today (or not). Can anyone else's baby say their own name yet? I guess it helps that everyone calls her Jojo so it's pretty easy to say, but it's super cute DD2 can say Lala, which is what DD1 calls her. I missed this question. It is going to be a while before DD2 can say her name, I think. But she can say DD1's nickname and her friend Diego's name (DCP's son). DEY-GO. DEY-GO. Which also sounds very similar to how she says "there you go." DEYA GO. DEYA GO.

I just scheduled my annual today for April. Maybe if B is STTN by then we’ll talk about #2. 🤪😂😭☕️ I know a lot here already have two, but I can't believe there haven't been any pregnancy announcements yet! I realized the other day that if I wanted kids two years apart (which I don't, but I think is pretty common in my friend group) I'd have to get pregnant a month from now. So not ready for that! Yes! On my other BMB, there were quite a few 2 under 2 after the F14ers, if I recall correctly. Plus, my sister just had her 2nd, even though she was August 2017 and not November like us.

I finally made it to the gym after work today. I’d hoped I’d be comfortable running in the dark with he stroller, but I’m not, so luckily E seems to be ok with the gym babysitting room.
Work and home are super busy, and I’m just praying none of us get the stomach bug that’s running rampant through my school.

Pretty sure I have a bladder infection. I keep chugging water and cranberry juice but I should probably just go in to the walk in tomorrow right?
We leave for holidays in a week. Should probably get that cleared up before we go.

Get the antibiotics though because if in a few days they aren't working you can go back and get the good ones before you go away. thatgolfb, yeah, maybe your DD should be Coco? Lol. But super cute about deygo! DD can say her daycare friend's name Maya. I only realized when she said my cousin's name Maya and I was wondering why she picked it up so quickly!

I’ve never had a bladder infection before. I’ve had pain in my abdomen for a few days now and actually just finally thought to myself it might be that instead of weird random pain. But that’s my only symptom really. Peeing more frequently too but not that much more. I just don’t want it to get worse and end up dealing with something in a foreign country. Lol

RE baby announcements H and I were just talking about how weird it is that we won't be announcing any new additions again.
DS1 starts basketball this week and I'm excited. H is coaching, so it should be fun (he has coached before, but more along the 6-8th grade ages). FIL is probably as excited as Ds1, if not more. Can't wait for the first game, I'm pretty sure it is going to be adorable.

They are usually in the digestive area of the pharmacy. Usually with the Imodium and Pepto. They can be either in a tasteless powder or a tablet. You can also eat yogurt like Activia that has active probiotics in them. (All yogurts have probiotics but Activia is geared for people who need digestive support).

cdnfarmgirl go get a urinalysis to see if it’s UTI. Symptoms are usually painful/burning urination, urinary frequency/urgency, sometimes blood in the urine, lower abdominal pain, sometimes back pain. Always probiotics with antibiotics. Take it 2 hrs apart from the antibx. Go to the pharmacy and ask the pharmacist - they keep the “good” ones in the refrigerator. Hope you feel better!

The only talking C does is “Na!” While pointing at the cupboard for a snack. He used to say mama but not anymore. No mama, dada, bye bye, nothing. I’m really anxious for him to start talking.
