Confession: I have never used my broiler before. If I try to make a flank steak in it tonight, what are the chances I will need to order pizza? Use low and watch it closely. I've only broiled steaks once...and likely won't do it again, just because I like mine medium and you can't really tell how close they are in the broiler. Much easier on the grill. Good luck! Here is where I admit I have also never used the grill. I thought about it once, found the manual and everything. Every page warned me that I could cause an explosion so I thought not worth it.

FX baby girl makes an appearance soon. lfig any more news since yesterday? No new ideas about a potential cause?

I'd just keep a close eye on it and like everyone else said, put it on low. I don't like using the grill. I make MH do it. I've definitely cooked steak on the stove using a grill pan though.

I started to Marie Kondo-fold the baskets in Josie’s closets. I’ll do Charlie’s next.I do not like the fold. Too bulky. I much prefer a flatter fold, but it took no time so I figured I’d try it for a month.

I much prefer to grill over him doing it because he over cooks everything. I use a gas grill and it's simple, although it has the automatic igniter. When you start it, make sure the lid is open so the gas doesn't build up inside. And just like everything you cook, check it regularly. It's easy! I'm grilling chicken breasts tonight.

Trying to watch my calories. Young, skinny, new runner is sitting across from me with chicken strips and fries, yesterday it was a hamburger and fries and a chocolate shake. Enjoy it now college girl, enjoy it now while you still can.

lfig any more news since yesterday? No new ideas about a potential cause? Nope. They are perplexed. If one more person tells me what a mystery my child is I might throw something at them. But they are still digging and trying to figure it out. So they have a reprieve for now. He said to give him a week to wait for all the blood test results to trickle in and give him time to study it all....and google. Yes he told me he was going to google. 😬

I don't have time for that shit...maybe for lunch if I was enjoying a beer...but in the evening, after a long day at work, just trying to get dinner on the table? Fuck that.

We use our gas grill all the time! But the igniter always breaks so we just start with a lighter. I’ve only singed my arm hairs twice doing that...lol.

guster I don’t love the Kondo fold, either. We hang most of our clothes but of course things like T-shirt’s and sweaters are in drawers. As long as I keep the amounts in drawers manageable I still prefer to fold ‘my’ way. I do want to do my linen closet, I like her idea of keeping linens sorted by bed/room sorted in labeled baskets. Right now mine are neat but just stacked.

I used to do this with my old grill and felt like I was putting my hair (or life) at risk everytime. That did scare me and I think would be just cause for a new grill. Like, I get it, it still functions properly. But I'm working with a highly flammable substance...I need the starting of it to be as easy as possible. Otherwise, I would send H out to start it for me! :-)

I’ve had a couple doctors Google while I was in the room because they have no idea what to do with people who have PID. Not exactly something that gives you confidence! Hope they come up with something soon.

We used to get the cheap ones...$200ish. Then MH just HAD to have the holy grail of grills and bought a $1000 grill 🙄. I was fine with the cheaper ones!

SSDD over here, but two important things to note:
1.) I tried the cinnamon shortbread latte and it was delightful. Not overly sweet.
2.) my drunk NYE purchases are slowly rolling in, and I must say, drunk me had exceptionally good taste and style.

I can see everything that is available to wear, and things get used more evenly. I also organize things in rainbow order.

I bet it’s probably easy enough that your H (or you) could do it.

I took a nap when the girls did. I’m pretty certain I have strep so I’m going to acute care after DH gets home from work. Boring pasta sound about as motivated as I can get for supper.

I do want to do my linen closet, I like her idea of keeping linens sorted by bed/room sorted in labeled baskets. Right now mine are neat but just stacked. Same! I have baskets on my list for that idea— clever! The kids closets don’t have a lot of hanging space (only half of the double of the double doored closets; the rest are built ins that I use baskets— to keep it organized) I was thinking about adding a tension rod lower than the traditional bar for extra hanging space/then the kids could reach it to pick out clothes on their own more easily.
