That's great Sunny41 , congrats to your SD! Maybe she will change her mind at some point. For years, I was gung-ho on a smaller and/or liberal arts school, but when it was time to finally decide, I realized I wanted that big university experience.

Morning! It’s gotten colder here too. I want spring! Only like 4 months to go. H is at school and we are hanging at home.

Happy due date mskatiep! I’m ready for baby day!

The doctor doesn’t see anything wrong with C. He took a nap before we went and woke up happy as can be. They did a flu test which was negative. She said it could be teething but the fever was a bit high for that.
My 1 year old basically faked a fever to get out of sleep training.

Yesterday I worked out, took a walk, drank 100 oz of water, and ate piles of greens with plain grilled chicken. Today I was at the Wendy’s drive thru at 10:50 am. I feel bad, Wednesday is my day to take T out since he doesn’t have school and someone else is always sick so we end up stuck home.

vino I have narrowed it down to 3 choices. 2 of them are closer to me and the other one is closer to her. I had to be more particular because she doesn't drink red wine.

I'm also in the spring right around the corner mindset. I haven't minded the cold much so far so this year, but I hate winter in general, so I'm always looking forward to spring.

I guess we've all been feeling the weather lately. I've been freezing. It's been so dark lately I feel like I'm in an episode of the Twilight Zone where the dramatic lead is screeching about the darkness due to the earth moving away from the sun.

I leave work early today so I can take the girls to the dermatologist. Looking forward to a slightly shorter day.

I made the tortilla soup the other day flamingo. It was really good.

Have fun at dinner tonight tgrimes! I'm 80 days out from vacation and have already been looking at yummy food options and sending photo texts to my BiL and mom who are going too. Food has a special place in my heart.

I went back to dust the blinds in my bedroom and C climbed up on the bed...guess the noise of the vacuum lulled her to sleep b/c she is passed out! Thankfully DH is able to get away from work to pick up B from school so I don't have to wake her up--b/c that would be the end of her nap for the day.

Yeah. We gave him 2 yesterday and he seemed more like himself last night. He was eating a bit more and had a good bit of energy. He’s at school today. Thanks for asking!

lahdeedah, I think, like anything else, it just becomes my normal. I really feel for people like sands42 who's H is gone so much and she often can't even really talk to him. 9 times out of 10, MH is at least in the states so we can Facetime etc.

I usually try to take a day off every so often when he is gone and put the kids in Day Care to get some stuff done, but also to sit on the couch and stare vapidly at the TV for a few hours. It helps.

Dont you worry joelies , as soon as I posted I checked the weather for next week for you and it's not to bad. Calgary gets the Chinook winds so that helps, bring a touque and some mitts. 

Or i can send you these to your hotel room, they are hella comfortable and warm.  A true staple for any Canadian

It’s not too hard, but don’t walk away while your meat is in the oven.

Use low and watch it closely.  I've only broiled steaks once...and likely won't do it again, just because I like mine medium and you can't really tell how close they are in the broiler.  Much easier on the grill.  Good luck!

I've recently started using it and I love making bacon in it on the weekends
