wedding the first few days are hard. Its still hard and its been a few months. We finally de-Christmased the house. I got a text on the way home tonight that the cleaning people are coming first thing tomorrow...i really wanted it all down so they could get a good clean. Everything is so bare.

I don't think I've ever checked in yet today. Nothing thrilling here, I'm spiralling bc my new class says expect 17 hours a week for it 😲, I'm still nauseous and craving carbs, and the house is still not ready for an onslaught of new furniture this weekend.
Today I was a grouch when I got home, j wouldn't share a book N wanted so she screamed for the last 10 min, and mh didn't take the 150lbs of sand out of my trunk that he bought for the basketball hoops, so I felt like I was driving a boat and could hardly accelerate. Good news though, we had a pest guy come and he didn't find anything and gave us preventative tips to close up some potential spots things could get in.. hoping we get around to doing that before anything comes in.

tgrimes he's a horrible stereotype and person. Is there any way you can decline events with him. We cut off some of MH aunts because of the racist close minded shit they say. I know you in laws are great but I would say if he is there you and the kids won't be.

mwhip I kind of love that bare feeling when all the decorations come down but then I also want to put stuff up in its place! I think that is why every January I get more itchy than usual to do house projects. All our Christmas stuff is packed away except the tree; it has been such a good one and we've had next to no needles drop. But it's probably time, le sigh. Maybe tomorrow while B is at school. I let C take a late nap and am living to regret that decision; she is wide awake and singing/talking in her crib. It's fine--she's happy in there--but I can't fully relax until both kids are asleep.

Colton is the Bachelor this season. He’s about as exciting as watching paint dry. I’m out for watching this season. Agree, and I find him incredibly annoying and full of himself. However, I'll still watch...really just to watch the girls clothing and drama. Ha! I usually find the 'Bachelors' off-putting. There have been very few that I am like, "oh, he's great!" But the drama keeps me coming back, or has in the past. On the flip side, I usually like the Bachelorettes but can't stand watching the guys make idiots of themselves chasing after them. That is annoying to me, vs. entertaining.

I also want to add that I've been more at peace since cutting my mom out after she said they all asked for it or they should have said no and lost their job sexual harassment

Super stoked for bachelor tonight! Not very excited that it’s 3 f’n hours. I haven’t watched in a while but since DH leaves tomorrow, maybe I will dvr and watch a little each night that he’s gone. Is it anyone good? I don’t know that I would say he’s “good”. He doesn’t know how to make up his mind so that should be somewhat entertaining. I’ve heard the girls are crazy this season.

trtlcrzy I'm only like 9dpo...so it could just be high progesterone since it's been consistent for almost a week. Regardless I'm going to my ob if this is just a regular cycle..not enjoyable. Thankfully eating helps and then I'm fine.

tallb’s post reminded me that yesterday Mh and M were moving stuff in the garage when we heard M say he saw a mouse. We didn’t know whether to believe him or not, so we set out a trap and M put a cracker on it. 10 minutes later, there was a tiny mouse on it. 😱 eek! We set out another just in case and nothing yet, so hopefully that was it. Glad we caught it before it got in the house.

kim22 we replaced the washer rubber boot seal thing successfully. The YouTube video was very helpful. My washer was just a little different than the one on it but all I did was find another video to show me how to do the different thing, and went back to the video I liked more. The hardest part was getting the spring clamps back on, but thankfully, Mh’s intern was there to help us and with three people, we managed. There is a tool you can buy to make it easy, but the guy in the video we used made it look so easy with just vice grips. The gunk I found underneath the seal was more gross than what was in it, so I’m glad we did it. If you don’t want to pay an appliance guy, and you think you and YH are handy, it can be done.

It definitely makes me pick all the crap up. I'm terrible about opening mail and leaving it lay around...knowing complete strangers are going to be in the house makes me pick up all the stacks. I wanted the Christmas stuff gone because the garland had been leaving its mark all over, so now that its gone, they can vacuum really well. I intended to do it this weekend, but slept instead.

I bought 3 pair of maternity jeans today. I'm looking forward to no longer having buttons digging into my stomach.
M has a new teacher at school. His went on bed rest after the 1st two weeks and we've had a lot of subs with one consistent one that I didnt like. At all. I didnt get to meet the new one yet but he loved her.

Got Sierra all settled in for her sleep study. There’s a poor baby next door that does NOT like what’s happening to him. But S handled it all quite well. Better than last time.

When B had his back in the fall there were a couple toddlers there that were NOT delighted. Glad S did well and hopefully it will go smoothly tonight. Thinking of y'all!

Sleep study went well, she fell asleep quickly and slept till they woke her at 6. Which I was impressed with. Last time she woke at 4:45. We have the nerve conduction study at 8:30 and then ultrasound at 11:30. Sunny41 what building are you in? The nerve conduction is in the CAM building. So we are headed there shortly.

I woke up early and met a friend chr swimming. We are using an app that has different training plans to help keep us going. This one is 6weeks. It felt good to get up and workout. Also the gym was not crowded so showering and heading to work was not as stressful as evening locker room activity. I think I can stick to this!

lfig How long will you have to wait for results of everything? 10 days for sleep study results. But I *think* I will know something today from the nerve conduction and ultrasound.
