Monday mishaps

Morning!
I talked smack about MH’s pancakes the other day, and then the ones I made this morning looked like pieces of dried fruit. Kids still ate them, but they were not pretty.
Josie has school this morning, and I’m taking Charlie to toddler time. This afternoon I have to bring playroom donations to the good will. It already feels lighter in there.

Morning! Had a lovely quiet morning with dd. I bought some makeup this morning for the wedding, I have no makeup knowledge, but I sort of want to look more put together Friday. I got a primer, a foundation, a finishing spray and a new mascara. Also, back on the diet today. I picked up tons of fruit, veggies, fish and chicken, I’m actually looking forward to eating more healthy than the last few weeks! Should we bring the weekly menu thread back?

I stayed up way too late last night watching a movie and am regretting that decision. I'm supposed to have MOPS this morning but I feel a cold starting to come on so I'll probably just drop the kids and come back home.

The Lilly sale is this morning; I am currently #34,921 in line. I'm only looking for one particular print in a dress for C. Must. maintain. resolve.

eta: success! I got the dress for C and did not buy anything else

Morning ladies. I was sick all weekend. I feel like I slept a large majority of the day yesterday, but woke up able to breath and able to come to work today. I'm still tired. I plan on doing as little as possible so I don't fuck anything up.

I'm at work and on day 4 of this freakin headache. I'm hoping to make it to the chiropractor at lunch.

Oh my goodness. I thought food and ds was hard, but apparently a very strong willed 2yo is also a nightmare... I’m questioning my parenting skills when it comes to my kids and food.

Back to reality today. Lucas is back at school, Ryland goes this afternoon, and Landon goes back tomorrow. My bff has to go back to work today, but her kids go to Landon’s school so I’m taking them for the day (9 and 7 boys) I’m bummed I can’t go to the gym since I have the other boys, so I’m going to do a home workout and then try to clean up the house. I’ll probably take them out to the library later and maybe McDonald’s for lunch. I also may start painting C’s room today and I need to go to the bakery to see about cupcakes for her first bday.

C has a very stubborn streak too nam2013. Not over food, necessarily, but she has very strong opinions and is not easily distracted or dissuaded (hmm, wonder where she gets that from?? ) B has always been a very easy-going little guy I'm so I'm having to learn some new approaches.

I know!! I can’t believe it! We painted the nursery “Paris grey” when we didn’t know if we were having a boy or girl, so I’m just going to paint one accent wall a pretty pink, and then I have some pink and white curtains picked out and a few other accent pieces. The nursery furniture is white.

Not sure if I'm going to take Cass swimming this morning because I don't feel up for it.

I'm planning on making the tortilla soup flamingo suggested. My hospital makes the most amazing tortilla soup but only on Mondays and I don't work Mondays anymore. I should see if they'll give out their recipe.

Don't beat yourself up. Evie and Theo are currently living on yogurt, pretzels and craisins. My formerly pickly 6 y/o however, tried tacos with jalapenos the other night. It does get better!

Not minimizing actual food struggles of course, but I think some of it is just the age too.

I took Cadence to Juiceland for a smoothie after gymnastics on Saturday. Now all she wants is smoothies. But not from home, just Juiceland ones.

Other than no shower this morning, we’re doing good. The water heater will be replaced today so we should be back to normal by tonight!

Unicorn, I can't believe she's almost 1! A is 10mo old today..how!?

I woke up with a stomach ache today. Not sure if it’s a bug or just something I ate but my stomach is in knots... hoping it passes soon.

Tonight will be Christmas take down. We’ve never left our tree up this long but I’m ready for it to be gone.

Morning! My kids go back to school today and I am ready to be back in our routine. Goodbye children, mama loves you!

In other news, after trying 800 different bins for our new closet, I finally committed. Today I will accomplish the glorious task of organizing everyone's things into their respective bins. Living the dream over here.

M is back at school and estatic! I'm at breakfast then I have another chiropractor appointment. Hoping to get a pair or two of maternity jeans today. My regular jeans barely fit and look awful.

We left toddler time early bc Charlie refused to clean up then lost his mind over it. I had to carry him out football style, wearing one shoe, and no jacket. He melted down in the car (and it was such fun to get him in the car seat), so we drove around and I’m now sitting in my car at the cold beach drinking lukewarm coffee. I am living the dream!

Thanks . I know with dd it’s her age (and personality 😂). With ds we have had real food problems since we started solids. It’s just so tiring. I really hope that #3 will be my unicorn baby that STTN within the first year and will love alllllll food. A girl can dream right?!

WFH today so i can accomplish some work things without distraction. But I am not doing very well at that. MH is back to work today after a 2week vacation. I am ready for us to be back to normal routine. A friend and I are going to start swimming 2 mornings a week. I am hoping i stick to it.

I hope those that are sick start feeling better.

I'm WFH today. My back is achy and while I'm sure it's just wishful thinking I didn't want to be far from home today.

I have a bunch of reports to complete today and it's so much easier without 1000+ interruptions at the office. I'm trying to get ahead of the game so I can start maternity leave in peace.
