Ds1 has impetigo 😷 but is on antibiotics now. I took him to the pediatrician yesterday and he asked a million questions lol. She was wonderful at answering them and even told him that asking questions is the best way to learn and get really smart. It's good to have my baby back.
It's supposed to be in the 60s today so we are going to do a zoo visit this afternoon. I'm on the hunt for other local trips we can do too. This time of year is hard.
Also, ds2 slept through the night! So weird. My boobs are killing me and I still woke up at 330am. 🙄

clucky noooooo!! I'm sorry everyone is sick. grumpycat ds2 had impetigo at 3 months, I swear the antibiotics worked within a day! Hopefully it clears up soon. So glad he's back to his happy self!! Great job being his advocate and pulling him out of that toxic situation.

Great job being his advocate and pulling him out of that toxic situation. It seems better already. Thankfully! I was talking to some other moms of kids in the class and one told us that ds1 was always in time out when she dropped her daughter off. Like every single day. It makes me so mad. I'm still organizing my thoughts but I will be calling and explaining in more detail why we pulled him out. I am concerned about any kids being under her "care." I've been doing a lot of unteaching the bad behaviors he learned (yelling at me if I interrupt him, talking back, yelling no way if he doesn't want to do something -- basically all the things she said to him 🙄). It's infuriating. But we are in a much better place than we were last week.

And now A has liquid butt too.
Whatever this is, I hate it. H was too tired and went into work late and was able to take DS1 to school.

Welcome to the one where I eat my words. N woke up at 3:30am. Luckily I was able to get him to snuggle on the couch and sleep until our normal 5:30am. I felt in his mouth last night and could feel 2 more molars right at the surface. Hopefully that's it and not another ear infection. But now that I got spoiled with days of STTN I want to go back to there.
I need to call and schedule a physical for him for his surgeries. I can't believe they are only 3 weeks away.

Moms that are still nursing and not pumping - is it safe to start wearing real bras with underwires? Like, I never thought I would say that I miss real bras, but I do.

I've been wearing underwire since he was born. I nursed from day 1 and pumped when I returned to work at 13 weeks. I don't think it was ever unsafe.

I’ve luckily never had any clogged ducts, etc. I need to get my butt somewhere to get fitted because nothing is the same. Side note I finally bought a container to put pumps, parts, and bottles away in. I’m excited to get the space back.

I am susceptible to clogged ducts so I'm still wearing my stretched out nursing bras. They do have a light underwire though. I'd say try it and see what happens.

But mine definitely do not and they are uncomfortable and I did get clog ducts with ds1.

It seems like L has been teething for his molars for months. He's got the top two but the bottom two haven't poked through yet. He has been so whiny lately, I am ready for him to feel better.
We got a new bed last night! Our old one was killing our backs so I am hoping this is an improvement.

I hope your kiddos get through their sickness soon clucky. It sounds miserable for everyone. grumpycat - I'm glad your DS is doing so much better now that he is out of there and I'm sorry about the impetigo. rooskie - I started wearing my regular bras before I was even done pumping so I say go for it.

rooskie DD2 won’t let go either. She is so so close to walking but will hold our hand going in circles instead of letting go. 😂 DD1 has been walking her around the living room and it is so sweet. She is the best big sister. This is DD as well. We basically did a full grocery shop with her walking holding DH's hand, and she's taken three tiny steps once, but that's it! Hi everyone, busy at work, no time to post 😣 nights are well, nights. Need to start getting more exercise, but struggling! I thought you would want to know that I actually am having a busy day at work today. After my many posts of "today is really slow at work"...

I just ran right into the open dishwasher with the top on my foot full force. There's a bump the size of a golf ball and a huge bruise 🤦♀️ H has to be on bath and bed duty while I put my foot up and ice it

Hello everyone! C is definitely going through a leap or a growth spurt or something. His 12 mo clothes no longer fit, he’s uncharacteristically crabby (or maybe just developing more of a personality?), and he might have a new word! He says “na!” And points at the cupboard. I think he’s asking for a “snack”! He’s finally sttn pretty consistently, but wakes up at the ass crack of dawn. Fun stage!

So three mobile kids is like a full cardio workout all day long. At least I managed to get the girls down for a nap At the same time so I could get in a nap before work.
Sorry for all the sick kiddos. Sending Lysol wipes!

Ok, daycare emotional rollercoaster is coming full circle.
DD’s teacher was shocked when I told her this was our first week and told me to talk to the acting director again. I meet her this morning and ask if there is any changes since the last hired director looked into toddler room capacity. She said a few families just gave notice that they are moving and she thought they might have an opening. Confirmed this afternoon that they do!! So now we aren’t going to change schools and DS is going to start next week!!!
I’m relieved but feel like an idiot because this whole rollercoaster could have been avoided if I would have made the decision to just have him start and figure out the potential problem closer to 18 mo. 🤦♀️ And we are forfeiting the deposit at the other place.

I don’t think N will ever 1) wean and 2) STTN. 😆 I’m exhausted.
He has one word and it’s mama at the top of his lungs pretty much all day. Also highly irritating. He did walk around all morning on Monday saying “rah” and looking in rooms and places. Finally I figured out he was looking for Nora 😂.
Also only has 8 teeth. Literally has not got a new one since like 9 months. By other kids had all teeth by this point. He was uncharacteristically crabby today. Thought maybe he is getting some more but I don’t think so.

cdnfarmgirl oh how cute, I love that he was looking for his sister. Today C ran up to ds1, gave him a big hug, bit his arm, and then laughed when ds1 said “ow!”

Ds2 was up at 1130, 130, and 230am. Tomorrow is going to suck. I dosed him with tylenol so just waiting for that to kick in. Dh attempted to comfort him and ds2 was like no way Mr. Useless nipples. 😴

Like ds1 will purposely stand in his way and ds2 just pushes him down then crawls over him. The little brothers need to establish dominance lol.

Sending coffee and pain relievers for your foot, quinn - hope it's doing better today! N had a weird night - He was totally passed out after the bottle (another formula/milk mix, yay!), and right when I was just *thinking* about putting him in the crib, he suddenly wakes up and spends the next 10-15 minutes being super grumpy and whiny for like, no reason. Diaper was fine, I don't think he's having a reaction to the milk, and just as I was going to call H to bring the Tylenol, he passed back out. He did the same thing to me this morning when I was trying to get him back down so I could shower. I'll check out his mouth tonight, I feel like he's been teething for weeks but nothing new has sprung up that I can see. *shruggy guy* Otherwise it's just Operation Milk, Bottles, and Solids for a while. (He's eating but I'd like to start getting him on more proteins and veggies. Carbs are a-ok in his book, though )

C’s 12 month onesies were getting a bit snug so I got out the tote of Ds1’s old 18 month clothes. I was digging through it and realized that’s when I must’ve stopped buying onesies, because it was mostly regular t-shirts/long sleeved shirts. 😫 he needs to stay a baby!

Sucks cause that means I'm grounded, no pole until its healed 😢 I hope N has a better night tonight
