MH is about to get on a plane headed for China then a layover then a 13hour plane to New Jersey. He will be landing around noon tomorrow. Can’t wait to have a break.... i mean, see MH. Lol Is this his old job or part of his independent venture? |

X and P are sick. They got the vomit bug everyone else had, I guess. X’s cough sounds pretty bad so I’m taking him in to the pedi tomorrow afternoon.
Work is nuts and I can’t keep up with anything else.
Heard at my house this weekend:
Atticus: Mooooom, Xander took my water cup. Can you get it back?
Me: honey, let me help you find a new one. X is sick. You don’t want that plague water.
Atticus: I do! Give it to me, I want the plague water!

I threw up 2 of 3 meals I ate today. I finally held down a clementine so I ate 5....

Why does it need defending? The bigger kids at the sitters and just about every male that sees him with it points out that it's a girls cup. This reminds me of a blog I was reading this weekend. It was about boys and long hair. Basically every boy with long hair has been called a girl. Mostly not maliciously but just because we have an overwhelming exposure to girls with long hair and not as many boys. Same with colors. That isn't something a small % of exposures can really change. It's the reactions to corrections that are important. Mocking the owner of the pink cup only makes them look ignorant. Teach your kids to be themselves and like what they like. They will be stronger for being able to voice "I like it" (Sorry, I'm ranting) |

Dh invited like 8 guys over for the Vikings games. One of them brought his girlfriend who I just met for the first time last week. I had plans of sitting upstairs getting some things done but now feel like I have to host because there is another female here. Luckily she is super into the game so I don’t feel bad popping in and out. That’s probably terrible of me.
But I did get my photo calendars finished and ordered which was one thing I needed to do.

With kids I tell them its Jack's cup and hes a boy so it's a boy cup. With adults I normally tell them to shut up, hes drinking water, no one should be complaining about the vessel. |
