nam2013, not sure if it's different here or not, but I wear black to weddings all the time. I’ve only been to three weddings as an adult, I have no idea what the norm is!

Hi! We did not get any snow here, but north and south of us got hammered - my brother got 11 inches. Feel better, wineallthetime. nam2013, I love the purple sleeveless dress! wedding xolastunicornxo I got Pico's portrait today; I love it so much. I almost wish I hadn't asked her to add his name and the dates, but years from now, when someone finds it in a thrift shop, I want them to know he belonged to someone, it's not just a random picture of a cat. Now to get it framed.

I'm not sure why I was questioning it. I bought Jack a hot pink cup with unicorns and rainbows on it because he picked it out and defend it to everyone. Ordering white. Why does it need defending? The bigger kids at the sitters and just about every male that sees him with it points out that it's a girls cup.

As a southerner I totally get you. I think the east coast of the south is generally more modern/progressive but you still get the ‘benefits’ of living down south (food, climate, ‘southern’ way of life, and lower taxes 😂) I hope things will work out, whatever y’all decide to do! Yeah. I always thought I would like to stay in the Carolinas. I think I could deal with Atlanta, but traffic is what gives me pause. 😂 I even liked the DC area when we have visited MHs family, but cost of living is not ideal. Hopefully we won’t be in MS too long and this job leads him to bigger opportunities elsewhere. Eta: I really liked Jax, too. It was Florida, but not as “Florida” as central and south Florida. Just the right amount of southern mixed in. You know what I mean. 😉

J has a white toddler bed and will be getting white bunk beds. We have navy bedding and gray walls right now. I like it..and my SM the designer bought it all. I personally don't love dark wood for furniture though.

I’m in the dress rabbit hole, black is a no go for a wedding right...? I think that used to be the rule-of-thumb, but especially for nighttime and/or formal weddings, I think it's fine nowadays.

peachsmama I might be the outlier but I personally like something a little darker for boys, either a painted color or wood tone; our nursery furniture is white PBK and it's definitely starting to show its age (and that's with only babies/toddlers using it).

And another one bites the dust. Just got the call for M. He doesn’t feel good and says his chest hurts. I gave MH instructions to take him straight to the restroom at school cuz he might be holding his poop or trying to keep something down. If it wasn’t my late day at work, I would have just left.

I lined up my ILs to babysit this upcoming Sunday, so I'm on my way to completing my homework assignment from our first counseling session. I still need to pick a place. DH was making fun of me for trying to get it done before our next appointment, but really he mentioned last month that he wants me to plan things occasionally, it's just been near impossible with our schedules!

Could you do a date night in? We like to do a plate of cheese, crackers, fruit, nuts, ect and a nice bottle of wine to enjoy after ththe kids to go bed. We either set a nice table in the dining room or eat it on the couch with a movie. ETA: I mean for future. I'm glad you have a night you can go out!

No but I told Mh to just pick him up at 2 after nap. If he is out of sorts, I rather him be home since Mh could leave work. He said he took a 4 hour nap and was in a good mood when he got there, so who knows if he actually has something. 🤷🏽♀️

Definitely, but weekends are still better for that - I'm a massive lightweight who gets up before 5 during the week - so that'll certainly be coming. Of course he still needs to turn off the TV, but baby steps...

My eldest boy cat keeps going into my room, screaming his head off, then returning to the living room with another toy mouse. They aren't real, dude, you don't need to announce your victories!

Super busy day at work. Luckily today was the last day of Open Season for benefits so I should have more time soon. Right after work we had Cs final eval for Karate and he did great and earned his white belt. I’ll share the pic Wednesday because it’s so great! We will be going two times a week and C is super excited. I worry it is going to be a lot but they are 30 min classes and I can leave work early to do the 5:15 class so it shouldn’t impact us too much. We are going to go again tomorrow. I wanted to take him Wednesday or Thursday too because they are doing board breaking and he would love it but he has his school show Wednesday and I have to work late Friday.

Thanks for the well wishes. They both seem fine so I don’t know what is up, but I guess I should be thankful for small miracles. M2 is a little whiny, but that’s normal. M is running around playing football along with the TV. I just hope they both have good nights.
