I dunno - I'm a northeasterner here, but I guess Mississippi? Where would you ideally want to be? Bingo. One red state to the next. They just elected that female senator that, I believe, publicly said she would attend a lynching in this day.😡 Eek, that's hard. Isn't Mississippi like last in everything too? Are schools acceptable or would you have to go private? ETA: work that into contract! |

This is the number one reason I want to RUN from the Deep South... education. It’s last in everything and like flamingo said, insular. Southern hospitality is great and everyone I met seems so nice and resourceful, but still. M goes to private now and I most likely will be looking into it if we move. I’m told there is a county north of where the university it located that is top in the state so I have to do some research. I went to check that area out and it seems very upscale, so cost of living there may be higher, but if public schools are great, we can probably deal and still come out saving money from what we are paying for housing and private school now. I’m a southern girl through and through, but want more opportunity for my kids. I actually wouldn’t mind staying south, just not Deep South where everything is bottom of the barrel. |

MH is about to get on a plane headed for China then a layover then a 13hour plane to New Jersey. He will be landing around noon tomorrow. Can’t wait to have a break.... i mean, see MH. Lol

I’m a southern girl through and through, but want more opportunity for my kids. I actually wouldn’t mind staying south, just not Deep South where everything is bottom of the barrel. As a southerner I totally get you. I think the east coast of the south is generally more modern/progressive but you still get the ‘benefits’ of living down south (food, climate, ‘southern’ way of life, and lower taxes 😂) I hope things will work out, whatever y’all decide to do! |

mskatiep how are you feeling? You are in the home stretch, no? What's your due date? peachsmama how's your morning sickness going? How long till you're out of the 1st trimester? I was just thinking and getting a little sad this morning that I will never be pregnant, have a newborn, breastfeed, etc, so I figured I'd check in on our pregnant ladies. I am definitely romanticizing it all)

E just had her 6 month appointment. 4 shots. She’s 26.75” tall and 16 lb 10 oz. she hasn’t doubled her birth weight yet I don’t think.

Then if a specific color is out of stock you ask about favorite colors and such. One year, probably the first, a lot of questions were asked. |

I am definitely romanticizing it all) Well I dry heaved until I threw up stomach acid this morning if that helps lol. Then drove 20 minutes out of my way to get the only breakfast I can keep down. I'm 10weeks +4 so about 3 more weeks. Hoping it lets up soon. But I still like the "hey still pregnant!" reassurance of vomiting every morning. |

nam2013 add me to the wearing black to weddings club as well. Also, I haven't even started to make my Christmas cards, so you will likely not get mine til well after the holiday. I suck. My H left this morning for Dallas for the week, he won't be home until Friday. I'm excited to have the week to myself. Well, with E of course.
