Morning! Bea woke me up at midnight last night, just in time for me to catch the J. Crew Monday sale. I bought 2 coats and I hope at least one will fit. I could not decide between the two, but they were selling out so fast, I just went for it. There was a gorgeous red wool one in my size, but as soon as I put it in my cart it disappeared.
I need to start addressing holiday cards, but my house is a disaster. Heavy sigh.

Morning! I dropped the Christmas cards in the mail, finally deposited Colin's birthday checks, and donated blood by 9am. So... can I go home now?

Annnnd I just got a call from M2’s daycare. They said he has not been it himself and all of his lunch came up. They will put him down for nap and call us if he is still whiny. I called MH and told him to be ready to get him in a few hours. He is at work but doesn’t have to be since the semester is over, so he gets to be Mr. Mom.
Should I start chugging red wine? Grape juice? Isn’t that the magic trick to keeping it away?

wineallthetime feel better. I was miserable for like 12 hours then I was completely fine. lfig I hope S is ok and the morning was just a fluke. lahdeedah sorry he is still sick. I’m picking up my 330 pairs off gloves for DD’s school then I need to grocery shop. Hoping for a healthy week this week.

lahdeedah I chugged red wine last week when H had the pukes/shits & over Thanksgiving while he was puking. I did not get sick.

What does your H want to do? There are some lovely parts around Jackson and Oxford is pretty. Overall, though, I'm inclined to think as a non-Mississippian it would be tough fitting in. It seems to be a very insular state. |

I want to take advantage of the sales, and I'm afraid if I wait til after Christmas everything will be picked over--I'm already running into that even now. Let us know what you end up with! lfig Thinking about you guys, I'm sorry for the rough morning. Hope it was just a one-off. nam2013 Imo the dress is 'ok'. But I think you can do better  The 2ne one you posted has potential, would be pretty with a wrap of some sort! I also think that on you something with a portrait neckline would be very flattering, and that can play into the retro/classic styles you seem to like.

PW here. Last one, I promise. On a whim I ran into the department store on base and found the Sperry rain boots I've been eyeing for forever--and all boots were 30% off. Would you believe they had two pairs left, both my size, in different colors? So I got the navy and went downstairs to pay. A saleslady gave me a booklet of coupons when she saw I had a shoebox...extra 20% off shoes! SO I got those darn things for $55. Clearly it was fate, right?  |
