On a different note, is there any chance at all your H's boss will leave any time in the near future, or your H might be able to transfer/look for a new job?

The owner was supposed to retire once their new system went live back in Feb. problem is, the CEO quit. He’s the one that was going to take over. They’ve had 2 new CEOs since then and they haven’t lasted more than a couple of months. There’s only one location so transfer isn’t an option.

I’ve told him since his first week of work to look for another job. The convenience of it being 10 min from the house isn’t worth it.

Well I’m here to report that Z has an EI too. Her nose is so stuffed i need to hold her down and spray saline in there.

Yes. He went to urgent care last night. H & I are headed to the ENT to get the fluid suctioned out. Maybe this is just something I’ll need to do every time he gets an EI.

S is on 3mg. But we’ve done up to 5mg before. Has she been to the doctor for the sleep issues? I wonder if she needs something stronger to help with the insomnia?

No. I need to make an appt and be more forceful. My experience with doctors, even the good ones, has largely been a "let's wait and see" and blow me off approach. So I avoid going because I think it will be a waste of my time. If I'm seeing the doctors I've already waited it out. 🙄

inthekitty I’ve found that too. The “wait and see” with certain things. I would approach it with them as “this has been going on for xxx amount of time. I’ve tried xxx, and xxx, and xxx. Nothing seems to help. What’s the next step, what else can we do. “.

Not being able to sleep is the worst! Poor girl!

Well crap..maybe the EI are genetic? I don't think I've ever had one...I blame mh for our kids issues bc he grew up having them.

Our ENT said the shape of the Eustachian tubes and structures in the ear is genetic, and if they are configured a certain way, that can absolutely lead to difficulties with draining fluid.
