Anyway, how is everyone this morning? In the absence of our normal chatter, I was bored and started lurking GD. They are doing a gift exchange and someone mentioned they can't participate due to being out of the country. Someone said this: But with Amazon and Etsy you can order from the country's local site and then just pay normal local shipping instead of having to deal with customs. So with that as an option, paging vino cheeksmum nam2013 Would that work for y'all?? You order from the US site and we order from your local site? OR is it more complicated and I am oversimplifying it? |

H still has fluid coming out of his ear. I'll be taking him to the ENT in the morning to get it suctioned out and probably do another culture.
M was complaining about her ear last night so I looked in it and it's pretty red. I tried using teledoc but they have to do an examination for ear aches in children so that won't work.
I'm really tired of being the only one responsible for my children's health/doctor visits.

I took the kids to trader Joe's. I'm relaxing for a few before we need to go get C. I have a dr appointment this afternoon, so the kids are coming with me to that and then we are going to a trampoline jump place!

tgrimes, I'm sorry, it is so much to deal with under regular circumstances. Add in how much crap you've had to deal with, it must be totally overwhelming. I hope both kids are able to get some relief soon (and you too)

jewels, well last Wednesday I started a thread with the title of 'Tuesday' so I should probably stay away from the thread starting business! tgrimes I'm sorry both of the kids are not feeling well. I understand the frustration of being the one to handle dr appts, it's the same in my house. My H has no idea who has Evie most days, let alone when dr or dentist appts are. It's not fair.

Morning. Another day here.. But i just found out I closed the biggest contract I’ve had since I’ve worked here, so that’s good news! Work has been so slow and i have been so unproductive lately but this makes up for it all, lol.

Haha N seems to love it, I just don’t understand the toy. Some of them change color, like if you dip them in cold water, her hair may change color, or her skin may change colors to look like she's wearing a different outfit. They also drink water, so they will cry, spit or potty. Yes, you collect them, I have no idea what 'series' they're on now. My kid has more than I would ever admit of the damn things. |

Morning! Congrats on closing the contract slenle! Poor H tgrimes, I am so sorry. I wish I had something useful to offer or say :/ I made pancakes and bacon for breakfast and put candles in B's pancakes, he was so tickled  That might become a new tradition. I sent cupcakes in to preschool, too. Since then, C and I have been around the house, just busy. I had so much "admin" type stuff to catch up on. I really need to start on our Christmas cards--like, ordering something--but that is quite the rabbit-hole. When I pick B up at 1 we're heading out for haircuts, and I think we'll go out to dinner tonight (B's choice). Not a bad day! |

Morning! Well evening for me 😉. I had an unexpected day off since both the sitter (Aunt) and the back up sitter (MIL) were sick. Since the weather was lovely I took the kids to the dunes and treated them to a pancake and lemonade. Indian take out on the menu tonight.

You basically just collect them, although Cadence has elaborate story lines going with all of them because that's what she sees on youtube. There are big sisters, little sisters, and pets. Now they have a couple of boys as well. Oh, and their million dollar mansion that my kid will never own.
ETA: they also have some that have "real" hair, which is apparently amazing.

Morning. The baby's sleep is all screwed up from being sick. For the last few nights she's been waking up around 4:30 but then she is up. Yesterday was her last day of the steroid, so I am hoping that is what did it and she goes back to STTN. I am so tired. I am also kind of kicking myself for bringing her to the ILs for Thanksgiving. I wish I would have just declined to go, instead of defaulting to "of course we are going" when I was still recovering from mastitis/bronchitis. Going on week 3 now of illness and I am annoyed with myself for not thinking this one through better.
Not much on the agenda, thankfully. I had one tiny work thing come up and I was annoyed it was intruding on my day of rest. Grouch...party of me.

Just work today. Whomp whomp. We have a meeting at noon. Who plans a meeting then? Tomorrow we're supposed to get off for the national day of mourning, but we are not eligible of course.  I'm planning on take off anyway for sick leave. Cass and I have been sick since sometime around the end of OCT, so going on 6 or so weeks now. I hate going to the doctor because it always just feels like a waste of time, but we'll go tomorrow. |

Do you all remember when you stopped using the high chair/booster seat? I can't remember for S, although I suspect it was around B's current age. All of a sudden, B refuses to sit in either, but he is such a sloppy eater, I like having him contained. I was hoping to keep it up for another few months.
