guster also, if you find an antique wooden advent calendar it might magically direct you to true love ala The Holiday Calendar on Netflix. I gave that movie a solid Meh. But way better than A Winter Affair or whatever it was I was watching on Prime last night. An annoying women falls for a rude jerk of a lumberjack and have an unintended adventure in the tundra. I watched The Holiday Calendar yesterday. It was so cheesy, but I didn’t mind it too much. Next on my list in Christmas Inheritance. Anybody watch? |

A couple months ago, Pete tried to mansplain abortion to me, knowing full well that I’ve had one. When I called him out on it, he accused me of being sexist. Insert maniacal laughing and me telling him he had better be drunk AF and if we were on a first date, I would have gotten up and walked home. Disastrous. What do men think when they do this?! I had had a 23yo male colleague who according to himself was an expert on the subject of breastfeeding because a friend of him had told him about it... he got a death stare from a lot of when he stated that ‘if it hurts you’re doing it wrong’... Please, please, please let a man try to talk to me about breastfeeding. I would love to tell them about my aversion and watch them flee in terror. |

I am so ahead of the holiday movie watching scheduled. I saw that one the first day it came out. it was cute. Christmas Cinderella on hallmark was lovely for the first hour. |

I’m more impressed with the new were Netflix one’s then I am the ones on the Hallmark Channel. Looking forward to this equal to the Christmas Prince. The Princess Switch was solid! |

I just finished Dear Santa today and it was cute, Once Upon a Holiday, Princess Switch and Merry Kissmas were good as well. The only one I havent really liked so far is Christmas Crush. As far as the Hallmark network, Switched for Christmas was cute and I've got another one with Candace Cameron Bure set for recording next week, and I'm waiting for a Shoe Addicts Christmas to show up somewhere. I'm in deep on the Netflix and Hallmark Christmas movies. |

FWP - I only have white wine at home and I really want red. This is the worst. In colder temps MH always prefers red and I prefer white year round. It's so sad when you have to settle for the other. I have a random mix of a little of this and little of that right now. |

Christmas Inheritance was just the right amount of schmaltzy feel goodery. Like guster, I'm partial to the Netflix ones. I got Maddie suckered into The Christmas Prince and she's also awaiting the sequel. She hasn't seen The Princess Switch so that's an excuse for me to rewatch. I just discovered Holidays in Handcuffs (Melissa Joan Hart with an awful perm and Slater from Saved By the Bell) which is awfully good is apparently in Hulu. So excited to rewatch. I'll watch The Christmas Chronicles (new one with Kurt Russell as Santa) but it looks really bad. On Prime I watched this horrible one called Love at the Children's Table or something like that. It had Danica Patrick (Wonder Years) and was pretty bad but watchable. |

Thanks for the well wishes. S was a super crab when she got back to me but eventually calmed down and took a little snooze in my arms. Then after she woke up it took her a while to want to eat and drink (which were requirements before we could leave) but eventually she agreed. We got home around 11:30 and have been taking it easy since then. S must be feeling pretty good because she’s bopping along and demanding things like normal. We both took a nap earlier this afternoon. I have to work tonight and DH has to work late so MIL is coming over to hang with the girls. I’m going to give S her ear drops before I leave because I don’t want to leave that to her or DH.
We have an advent calendar that MIL gave the girls last year. It’s a picture of the nativity and every day they add a person, animal or object to complete the picture. It’s Velcro. I want to get the girls another one but we will see (I’m lazy so premade).

A always gets me a pair of Toms for my birthday. Well I told him a month ago "Green with the white trees, size 7.5" when he asked. Well he didn't order them. They only have 5, 5.5 and 6.5 now  I'm trying not to be disappointed because I'm sure he'll come up with something but damnit. They're adorable and I wanted them! |

Files are being audited at dc so there was a packet of "information we don't have for your child" in everyone's cubby. They highlighted things like child's name, emergency contacts, parents numbers. Uh, pretty sure you've had all of this info for the last 5 years that she's been there. They also asked for an updated shot record, which I just gave them LAST WEEK. Idiots.

I’ve been on the phone with doctor’s offices all day.
The hospital where I had P is billing for a twin boy who doesn’t exist. I’ve called them at least five times trying to get it sorted out.
Our pedi’s office keeps sending us a bill for every time we go in for a well visit saying that some expanded services were required.

Years ago my friend had a baby at the hospital that she worked at and was insured through. A few months after she had the baby. She got a notice that the c section was not covered because she was listed as a man and c sections are not a covered procedure for men. It took many many phone calls to get it straightened out |

Yes, we switched from Sling to Hulu. Now that I've gotten used to the interface, I prefer Hulu. More channels (including Bravo) and DVR. No problem getting sports; we paid extra for a sports package with Sling to get SEC Network, etc. All of that is included with Hulu. The only channel we don't get now is Nick Jr. Can't say we really miss it, the kids like Disney shows and for Paw Patrol, we can get episodes on Youtube. We pay $40/month now; we paid $35 with Sling. The DVR is included? I wonder if I can use my inlaws cable login to get Nick Jr on apple tv. M likes shimmer & shine & Peppa. Yes, you get 50 hours of DVR included. |
