Back to school for C this morning. I might try and take all 3 to bootcamp after pickup. It's sure to be a disaster, but worth a try! Other than that, no plans...probably a play place this afternoon to burn some energy.

Morning! Back to school and work here, too. It feels, simultaneously, like it was a regular 2 day weekend and also a 12 day break. Back to healthier eating and much more moving around!

H just left for work, he's going to let me know how the roads are. But he keeps opening and closing the garage doors, I think to make sure I can even get my Jeep out. Reports are that roads are snow/ice packed. I saw a list of accidents, totally waiting til after rush hour before I even head out.

guster I feel like crap from eating and drinking too much for the last week. Im glad to be going back to 'normal' so I can limit my food choices during the day and hopefully get back to the gym.

Thanks guys! Our HR manager sent me a text and told me just to work from home, so I think I'm going to take her up on that, until at least noon. The news isn't helping motivate me to get out. I just feel bad since I was out all last week. But I also don't feel like getting out in this with Evie.

Morning. Back to school for LO, work for me, and DC for E. C went back to work yesterday. My Fitbit didn’t give me a silent alarm today twice so I’m concerned it’s dying. It sounds like E’s cold is gone but I still have mine.

Morning! Normally Monday is normally my day off, but I switched with Friday. The Monday blues started with a flat tire, so I had to walk the remainder to school, than walk to my mom’s to pick up a bike, I arrived 45 minutes late at work 😖. Dh and I have been rushing around each other for a few weeks, so I’m picking up an nice bottle of wine after work and I’ll make a nice dinner. We’re going to a concert tomorrow, the pre-shoe artist is the same artist as our first concert together ever, so let the romantic reminiscing begin 😉!

He seemed fine and since he didn't get an actual strep diagnosis, I sent him to school. He had 21 hours of antibiotics on board so even if it turns out to be, I don't think he's contagious at this point. I hope. |

On the bus and ready for the day! My Director is out for the next 3-4 weeks as his wife had a baby on the weekend, so i’ll be dealing with the needy leaders as he deals with sleep deprivation and newborn snuggles. Seems like an equal tade off.

Morning Ladies! We lost two trees in the storm last night ☹️ They were two out of a row that lined the side of our yard, so now there us a big hole there. Womp.
In other news, H is building me a "mud room" in our front coat closet, because I cannot take one more day of coats/hats/backpacks being thrown on the floor. He is building a little bench and some cubbies and we will just have a bunch of hooks for everything. I'm very excited about this.

Seems like an equal tade off. I love the fact that your boss took 3-4 weeks of for this! Our government still gives dads 2 whole days... good luck with the needy leaders! I think it’s a combination of vacation days, free days and just coming and going as he pleases. If the work is getting done we dont really focus on the coding of day to day time off. We’ve worked together for ages and there’s a trust there with work stuff, he’s got my back I’ve got his, and on the same page with info and decisions. I think it’d be a different situation if this wasn’t the case. |

I'm sitting at my desk. It feels lovely to just sit. I'm wearing real work pants j haven't worn in years bc I cannot find my regular black jeans collection that I usually wear.. the new commute wasn't too bad. Got out the door by 7:45 and arrived by 8:30. Then watched picture day retakes at daycare, which hopefully are cute.
Mh is taking back our new TV today. It's too big... apparently we are used to a smaller TV and 55" seems to be taking over our living room.

tallb At work we were having the TV discussion last week and apparently 55' is the new normal. We have a 40' and 42' and have had them for about 9 years. I know it depends on your room set up but 55' seems big to me as well.
