I just bought an origins set to try. I have been using the tarte maracuja C eye cream and like it. I also bought the philosophy help me retinol cream to try out, too. |

Hiiiii! Work is insane and I have zero privacy in our Calgary office, so I'm MIA all day. It was a good day though, very busy and productive. Chase had a great day at daycare - only 1 poopy diaper and another wet one - and Colin finished all but a couple of his thank you notes. DH is sick and miserable but he's being a trooper and not complaining. I feel kind of guilty because they put me up in this nice 1 bedroom apartment for the week, only a block from the office. I'm watching cheesy Christmas movies on TV, I had take-out Vietnamese for dinner and because of the time difference, I feel like I'm sleeping in. Now if I can just make it through this trip without getting sick, I'll be golden.

I snagged some Nutcracker tickets for Sunday evening. I'm putting them in the advent calendar for that day. Now I just need to prep the other days

Thanks girls, I feel better after seeing my grandma. She said she has no pain and she was in good spirits. She also said she fell in the middle of the night when she got up for a drink but she didn’t want to bother anyone so she scooted back to her bedroom but couldn’t get into the bed so she just slept on the floor. She called my aunt in the morning but she had locked her storm door and it didn’t have a key so my aunt couldn’t get in. The police got the door opened and called an ambulance. I left when they called the end of visiting hours. I tried to teach her the difference between turning on the tv and calling the nurse but not sure how well that’s going to work out. She will be having a partial hip replacement tomorrow afternoon if the doctor clears her for surgery.

We got home and everyone was in a bad mood, even Pete the cat. So I put on the Christmas music, didnt help. Made cookies after supper, didn’t help.
So i put the kids and cats to bed early, sent MH downstairs and I’m drinking hot chocolate while watching a Christmas movie.
Not on my watch, bad mood family.

Sunny41 we're going to see C's dance school put on Nutcracker on Saturday. Cadence is so excited. Sunday we're going to the Princess Ball, which she will get the tickets to in her box from Mrs. Claus. I need to find things for her Advent calendar too.

I looooooove the Bob Dylan Christmas album, it’s so moody and old school. Good old John Denver, Phil Spector and, more contemporary, Smith and Burrows: funny looking Angels.
