Holiday shopping is done with the exception of a couple of Target GC's. They usually run a 10% off deal on those at some point so I am waiting. I am happy to be done though. I'm going to try to start wrapping soon too so it isn't crazy at the end.

My grandma fell this morning and I just found out she broke her hip. She’s 93, this is bad.

The older my dad gets the less he can handle the cold so the less he hunts. That makes me happy lol. Normally he wouldn't come in until lunch unless he got a deer. He went out at 7 and was back by 9:30 this morning lol.

I just got a call from the dentist that M won the no cavity prize drawing this month. I didn’t even know it was a thing. Lol. We have to go buy there at some point this week so he can get his prize and take a pic for the website.

I can probably go when DH gets home from work. They just got her out of the ER and into a room and she’s probably having surgery tomorrow so I will see if I can see her tonight. My mom said she said it doesn’t hurt. |

Ugh, I worked out and didn't make a shower a priority thinking I'd take a long hot shower when MH gets home. Now we have no water due to a water main break. I'm going to be looking even more delightful at drop off tomorrow if we don't get water before that. Ew

You guys, H is a unicorn child. She did so great at the dentist and didn’t need to get nitrous gas. Did everything that the dentist asked her. We are eating supper now and she’s still numb and doesn’t like it. I don’t blame her.

Had Sierra’s appt with the CP clinic today. They said she has ataxic CP. but she doesn’t have the typical presentation. They are puzzled by the sudden onset of the Dystonia and hand issues. So they are going to present her case to the team. They are looking at maybe doing a lumbar puncture to see if they can figure out more.
They are ordering AFO’s for her ankles/legs to help with balance issues. We did SMO’s when she was younger which basically just supported the ankle and foot. The AFO’s will go up her legs further for more support.
Also ordered a positional brace for her wrist/hand. With the hopes that it will force her to have her hand positioned correctly and hopefully she will use it more.
Also ordered additional OT in addition to what she gets at school.
Whew...it was a long afternoon. Just stopped for dinner on our drive home. I’m ready to crash in my bed!
