Lots of Christmas spirit here with MH picking a fight with me over decorating and insisting on ignoring any of the wishes I have stated. Like the weather is great let's take E out for a bike ride. Him: it's nice we should put the lights up. What actually happened was I dragged all the lights out and tried to keep E away from the street and occupied while he sat inside and refused to put on pants.

We took the kids to the bounce house place and the grocery store. Chase was in a pull-up but stayed dry and peed a couple times while we were out. Of course he pooped on the floor within a few minutes of getting home (a few minutes after peeing on the potty). Gross but still, he's doing great. I'm hitting the road in another hour or so. I'm actually looking forward to a bit of grown up time. Are you bringing a ring seat with you for outside of the house training purposes? I’m having the hardest time with Charlie on any toilet because he’s so tiny he just could fall right through.. I’m top of that, he hates the ring seat here in the house and still prefers the small training potty. I have this for S (H used it first) and it's super handy. guster - I'm just holding Chase and he's figuring out how to hold himself up. He doesn't mind when he has to go but he sure fights it when he's not ready!

Colin is drawing pictures for his friends with "thank you" on top and a to/from line. Is that enough for thank you notes? Or should I add a little note to each saying thank you for celebrating and for the nice gift??

Our thank yous went to family and close friends so I let a thank you and a picture with her signature suffice. |

Has anyone seen the new king king trailer? It looks so amazing. I’m a little bummed that it’s coming out next summer, because I think ds would love it in two years time, but would be scared to death by it in 9 months...

I did personally add a note thanking them for the specific gift they brought though. |

I can’t find my elf so I ordered another one. I’m annoyed but the search did prompt me to clean it my closet and the linen closet. I’ve been putting off the linen closet project forever. I had so many curtains and sheets we haven’t used in ages.

Today we did brunch at my sister’s house then DS1 had a game. He got his first hat trick! Now DH is picking up pizza and diner take out because we had 2 cars and I promised my kids pizza and he promised his diner. C missed his afternoon nap so I’m trying to keep him up for like 30 more minutes then put him to bed. His sleep was terrible last night. We have a super busy week to include a concert/date night Thursday for DH and I. I picked Thursday figuring I could nap Friday but now DD has her gymnastics meet Friday morning in NY, we have a Christmas party Saturday, and I’m doing C’s Birthday Sunday.

We had a driver ghost us.. My dad is annoyed and baffled. I'm flat out pissed off. We just loaned him money because he got in a tough spot and he just disappeared.

My dad made chili with deer meat and it's making me gag. Like actually heave and gag. I don't know how much longer I can hide this from him. He's side eyeing me. But if I tell him, He'll tell my brother who will tell his wife. And I want to tell her myself. And if my brother knows, my uncle will know. And my uncle works for my FIL so then they'll find out through the grape vine instead of from us. Which is a shitty way to find out your getting another grand child. My MIL would be devastated.

Ok. I’ve accomplished 1 thing today. I got lo’s gifts for his classmates for Christmas. A coloring book, crayons, and chocolate.

I developed a massive headache on the way back home today and took some Motrin and a 2.5 hour nap with an ice pack. Woke up feeling a little better so we ran some errands and now it’s back.
N’s old teacher who moved away this spring was back for thanksgiving and asked if she could come by. So she came over and hung out with the kids while Dh and I ran to the store. It was nice, but also a little weird since we don’t know her all that well. But n was excited and had fun.

Well, they weren't lying about us getting a blizzard. Schools are already closed tomorrow. I had to rearrange care for Evie tomorrow because I can't get her to MILs. I'm really surprised my company isn't closing tomorrow too. I'll work from home until I'm comfortable getting out.

Another opinion, even though my kids throw the pillows I like that they're removable so I can wash the covers if needed. |

LOL we are the opposite and want removable ones because we want to be able to turn and flip all cushions if dirty or ripped. I don't like that about our current sofa. It's actually hard to find them not attached. But we don't have your C issues |

Hi hi - survived the party today. 15 kids and it worked out great. The leader was taking pix of the kids to play at a slideshow at the end and one dad freaked out about it and was quizzing me about what they are going to do with the pix. I don't know dude, chill out. They had a dance party in the party room between pizza and cake and it was super cute and the parents seemed pleased too. I am grouchy about one friend no showing, that also did the same last year - and we saw them a week ago! Ok better finally unpack my clothes. I'm looking forward to getting to work and sitting. Next Thanksgiving I want to go to a resort.
