Speaking of eyes... I don’t think mentioned that M2 poked me hard in the eye Wednesday night when I went to put him down in his crib. He fell asleep in my bed and when I picked him up, he startled and jabbed me in my right eye. It’s bloodshot- a subconjuctival (sp??) hemorrhage. Google says it could take up to 2 weeks to go away completely.
My MIL just told me that I can put a heated washcloth on my eye at night for a few minutes at a time and it should help it to heal. Worth a try.

Thanks girls! I not a fan of waterproof, so that’s is probably one of the problems. I just got my end of year pay, so I’m going to look for a tubal mascara!

Morning! Just me an Charlie watching word word and sipping on coffee. I’m sure everyone will be up soon. We have zero plans today! I’m excited for a day of hallmark movies and Christmas crafts!

Morning! We baked pepernoten this morning (seasonal spiced marble sized domed cookies). Then we had a birthday party and some shopping to do. In about half a hour we’re heading over to my parents for Sinterklaas, so full day over here!

Morning! I'm at work. I forgot my fleece at home and I'm freezing. Luckily DH said he will bring it to me. When I get home I plan to take a nap and then I need to make Rice Krispie treats for H to bring to school tomorrow. We were supposed to bring her bday treats last Monday but she was home sick so we pushed it out a week. Our guests should be gone when I get home and I am so ready for some peace and quiet in my own house. Oh, I almost forgot, H woke up around 2ish in the morning crying that her ear hurts so we will probably have to take her to acute care to get that checked out. wedding how's C this morning? |

I have stopped trying to eat before 10am because I just throw it up. But I think that's preferable to dry heaving until I throw up stomach acid... my eyes were running from the pain and ruined my make up. And of course we're running late for the movie so hello raccoon eyes.

Morning. I’ve been up since 6.30am with the kids and MH stayed in bed sleeping or pouting, who knows. I brought out all the Christmas presents I’ve got so far and the kids are done, family/friends kids done and just a couple more for my Mom and I’ve got to figure out MH.
Plan today is getting the Christmas lights up outside after I clean the house this morning.

KC is expecting a blizzard today. We don't usually get much snow, so it will be interesting. We are doing Thanksgiving lunch at my moms, then putting the Christmas tree up when we get home.

Hi Ladies! Got home yesterday from the ILs and it's good to be back. BIL/SIL's sick kid was running amok unsupervised the whole time and either trying to shove his hands into the baby's mouth or banging FIL's African drums all. freaking. day. He broke not one, but two of them because he was using a pointed stick on the goat hide. My poor FIL was obviously distraught and I was up all night with a feverish baby. TPs to them today 😒
Today is supposed to be a snow storm, so I am hoping to get out in time to get our tree and decorate. I have a house full of teenagers, so I need to get them all up before they get stranded here!

Cs rapid strep was negative but they sent it for culture and started antibiotics because it looks like strep. He also has an ear infection brewing. We are grabbing lunch and ice cream while we wait for his meds. He’s acting mostly fine, just cranky.
Later my mom is coming over to do the lights on my tree. She is also bringing thanksgiving leftovers. I can’t wait!

We took the kids to the bounce house place and the grocery store. Chase was in a pull-up but stayed dry and peed a couple times while we were out. Of course he pooped on the floor within a few minutes of getting home (a few minutes after peeing on the potty). Gross but still, he's doing great.
I'm hitting the road in another hour or so. I'm actually looking forward to a bit of grown up time.

Hey! Headed to STL today. Thanksgiving dinner with family tonight, Sierra’s appt with CP clinic tomorrow, then back home tomorrow night. She has been extra whiny and crying a lot the last few days and I can’t figure out why. My best guess is pain from Dystonia because she’s been having a tough time with it this week. 2nd guess would be strep throat because last year she had it twice and I took her to the dr because I was at a loss of why she was so whiny and crying so easily over things and she had strep. 🤷♀️. I really wish she could verbalize what’s wrong.
