H woke up fever free. MH took him to Lowe’s and when they got back I noticed he kept putting his finger in his ear. When I got closer I could hear the fluid in it every time he shoved his finger in there.
You know, the other ear that was fine yesterday....
So we’re now doing drops in both ears.

Thanks all! We went for pancakes and then build a bear for the birthday month pay your age bears for both kids. We put together the play house my parents got them in the basement and now mh is putting them down for naps and heading out to Safeway to order a cake (I went to 3 and struck out at all yesterday with what we wanted), and then back to Costco to buy a TV to replace our tube tv I bought in 2004😂. The past 2 days have been a cluster, so I'm totally unprepared for her bday and party tomorrow, but hopefully she won't remember..and wifi isn't being setup until NEXT Saturday. I may not survive. Also, go blue, I hear there is a game on that I can't watch🙄.

MH and I had a fight last night at like midnight, my eyes were basically closed for the day. I had exactly nothing to say about it because dude I do not want to fight when I’ve been up for 19 hours busy as all hell. So no, I’m not solving anything at that time of day. Well, it fed into this morning at 6am. So he gets the throat punch of the day.
Then we had soccer this morning and I’m heading to TRU after lunch to get a couple Christmas gifts for the kids’ friends. I’m knocking off my Christmas list like a champ.

Did anyone’s kid get an MMR shot at 12 months? My pediatrician does it at 15 months but there are possible cases of measles one city away from me so I’m wondering if I should ask for C to get it early. Both kids did here. I feel like the pediatrician told me that’s the new recommended age. |

Happy Birthday N!! tallbvino ugh....no fun....I hate arguments that end in fights and continue to morning! I need to be productive around the house...but instead I am relaxing on the couch in front of the tv. S is on hour 3 of a nap, almost 4...FX she was just super tired and is not getting sick. However, I’m fairly certain I’m not going to be that lucky. |

I told MH earlier that I wanted him to take the kids to a play place or just to do something g outside of the house. He says something about doing it tomorrow. I 🙄, but don’t say much more.
Fast forward to just a bit ago, and M is doing what he does every day while “playing football” when it’s on TV and balls are flying everywhere and he isn’t listening. MH starts yelling at M and I’m there like- that’s why I wanted you to take them out of the house to play. Kids were here most of the day yesterday doing the exact same thing and I’m sure they are stir crazy now. I’m annoyed.

lahdeedah MH does that all the time, how they cannot connect the dots is a skill, really. If you have a breakthrough, I’m all ears. ETA: another example, gives child a snack WHILE cooking dinner. Then SO SURPRISED that they aren’t eating. Like, wut? Am I in a twilight zone or are you really just that dumb. If I had a dollar for every time I randomly said ‘Fun fact, kids stomachs are the size of their fists?’....and still not getting it. I mean...help me, help you.

Instead of going outside, DH convinced Cool to lay down on the couch. He passed out with his head in my lap and he's super warm and cozy. I got a little power nap too. I also got a jump on my packing. vino - I'll be in your area so let me know if you want me to show up at your door to give your DH a surprise kick in the shins. |

vino, omg the snacks are a big issue here. Seriously, if I'm not around the kids will live on snacks (and not even healthy ones) and spaghetti. That's basically MH's diet.... he literally will give them oreos at 7am on the regular

I suck a doing makeup and wear very little. I do wear mascara, concealer and a little blusher every. Now my question. Halfway trough the day my mascara ends up under my eye and I basically look like the haggard panda I really am, but don’t want to look like. Is there any way to avoid this?

lahdeedah Getting the kids out even for just a little bit is a must! Everyone will go insane. wineallthetime I need this cheesy corn chili recipe! You guys I still haven’t finished painting my daughters room. And now I have to put together her desk that came in the mail. I don’t want to do any of it.
