Our current set back has been the health department. But we finally (after 6 weeks) got the permit for the water lines into our house. But of course with the holiday the company cant get to it until next week. |

lahdeedah , I think we decided on the VW Atlas. It was between that and the Honda Pilot, and MH really wanted the Atals. He's super opinionated, and I don't really care that much, so I figured it's easier to just placate him. Ooooh those are nice! Brux did a review on GD a while back and there's so much room! exciting! oooh nice! I test drive one this weekend. MY friend’s husband works at a VW/Audi dealership and he had one for the weekend to drive in the Christmas parade, so I didn’t even have to go to the dealership. They live in my neighborhood. It had captains chairs and is very roomy! It’s on my list, but not sure if I can get all the features I want at the price I want. I still have some months to test drive a few others I’m looking at. Happy shopping tomorrow! |

I keep forgetting we are going to be meeting up. The other day I was watching a show and they were in Colorado. I was telling Mh that I wish we could go to Colorado for a vacation, it’s so pretty, blah blah blah. Then after I shut up, I had a lightbulb moment and was like— wait, I AM GOING TO COLORADO IN APRIL! WOOHOO!— and he was all like 🤔. He forgot, also. Lol.

His first reaction was to make fun of me. "Online friends" just isn't really normal for us. I mean - he apparently talked to girls on MySpace back in the day, but that's the extent of it. But we met dapostrophe and her family and they were so awesome that I think he changed his tune. But I still guess I downplay it for some reason? I'm not really sure why. So to get inundated with cards might confuse him. Like 'you gave all these strangers our address?' But like others have said, I talk to you guys more often than I talk to most of my IRL friends. I don't really know what my stupid hang up is! Aw, thanks! You know we had a blast meeting you guys, and your H seemed to totally roll with it. I can understand how it would be weird to tell him about all of us after so long, but I want you to come clean so you can participate in the card exchange 😁 Re: Mom groups, my H knows about all mine. I am in two other "secret" mom groups...one for my area and one for WOC. I was invited to both of those by IRL friends, but I've not been in either as long as I've been here. Plus, I only know a few key players in those, but here I feel like I know everyone. You guys are my longest internets relationship. |

Re: mom groups. Dh definitely knows I’m here. He was a little hesitant at first (as was I I, this was so new!). He wants me to ask you guys all the things for our USA trip and when I told him you guys guys wanted to send me cards he loved the idea of receiving cards from across the ocean! Eta my h is the only one who knows though. For others you’re my friends, which you are  . |

Hi! The flight was fine. E slept for 15 minutes before they made an announcement that woke her up and she stayed up and mostly happy. LO just watched the tablet the whole time. A lot of the other passengers around us told me what a good job the kids did on the flight. It felt good. |

LO prefers soft pants but will wear jeans. He lately has been refusing shorts. Which for a long time was the only bottoms he would wear. He does get dressed by himself for the most part and sometimes has opinions on what he should wear. I leave clothes out for him but he will change things out if he doesn’t like it.
