lahdeedah, I think we decided on the VW Atlas. It was between that and the Honda Pilot, and MH really wanted the Atals. He's super opinionated, and I don't really care that much, so I figured it's easier to just placate him. Ohh they are nice looking!! My boss has one and seems to love it. Mh won't do VW bc of past issues, so I think when we go bigger it will be between the pilot and new Subaru ascent. |

joelies , C wants to wear soft pants every day! I allow it most days because I would rather he ruin those than nicer ones but it would be nice to have him look more put together every once in a while. Of course I found a pair of jeans he would wear and he literally outgrew them after wearing them twice. In the waist. At least the soft pants have some give. The beauty of having a girl...leggings and a tunic and cute shoes/boots and they look put together yet are comfy! S has only wore jeans a handful of times. But I need to put them on her more because they go outside at school when it is cold and I am sure the jeans cut the wind and cold much better than leggings. |

tallb, the pilot was super nice, my only complaint was the location of the touch screen system. It was a very awkward location - high and sort of angled weirdly - and I think it would have been difficult to navigate for me. But it rode great.

Then, I fessed up a bit more when I was lucky enough to meet dapostrophe and her family this summer. But still , I don't think he realizes the extent of it. I'm not sure if he would judge me... not that I really care, but still... I know there were others whose families didn't really know about here. lfig I think? Anyone else? We let Colin wear soft pants on the weekends and on gym days, so he's still in them 4 days a week. He was just SO inflexible that we couldn't even get him in nice pants for special occasions for a good 2 years, so we had to push the issue. Of course he also hates buttons. All his pants are pull-up, drawstring pants but a few pairs have - GASP - tiny buttons on the back pockets. I can't get him to wear them without tears and yelling, and it's usually him deciding if jeans sound worse.
We're ignoring Chase's protestations about clothes. DNW to create another monster.

My H knows all about you ladies! Evies dresses herself 1 or 2 days a week. Its generally not a battle that I have the energy for in the mornings. We made or to Garden of thr Gods, it was so pretty and the weather was gorgeous, so we stretched our legs and walked some trails. Plus wore Evie out, who is currently asleep. We are headed back to KS, but likely just across the border, not home tonight.   |

She tolerates leggings when it's colder out, but she would just wear a dress every day if she could. |

His first reaction was to make fun of me. "Online friends" just isn't really normal for us. I mean - he apparently talked to girls on MySpace back in the day, but that's the extent of it. But we met dapostrophe and her family and they were so awesome that I think he changed his tune. But I still guess I downplay it for some reason? I'm not really sure why. So to get inundated with cards might confuse him. Like 'you gave all these strangers our address?' But like others have said, I talk to you guys more often than I talk to most of my IRL friends. I don't really know what my stupid hang up is! |

I am here tgrimes!!! Still kind of in a rut. I basically do the same shit everyday and I’m boring. MH & his friend are starting a business so I’ve been trying to help with that as I can. Spend a lot of time being anxious about my life choices and then start worrying about everyone dying. So that’s normal. Lol. I heard the Dogs documentary was good klong11! I recently stopped wiping butt Sunny41.... I for sure didn’t wipe Giovanna’s for this long so I decided i was done lol. I want to participate in the card exchange! I hope I’m not too late! |

I'm behind on the card exchange. Just heard about it the other day. I hope to get my shit together enough to do cards this year and participate. One of my O11 moms has the most amazing pictures every year. They go all out and are my heroes. Last year they did a Star Wars theme. This year they did Harry and the Hendersons. It's truly amazing. Meanwhile I'm hoping I can snap one decent pic in front of our too small tree.
My girls know nothing of life outside of soft pants.

I guess I’m lucky that H doesn’t really protest what I make her wear. If she asks to wear a dress or something (as long as it’s not gym day) I usually oblige. She wears jeans once a week or so. But, I have to tell her 5000 times to get dressed, eat her breakfast, put her shoes on, etc. sands42 and inthekitty not too late to participate, please do! |

But I don't know that he realizes how much I participate. And he doesn't know about my meet up's with Sunny41. Which feels weird to me, that I am "secretly" meeting a friend. But he is very private and because of his line of work, very cautious and tends to be untrusting of people/situations not familiar to him. So while I never intended to keep him in the dark about it...it just kinda happened and then before long it had been so long that it felt awkward to mention. I do think he would find it odd and unsettling that I was sharing so much with "strangers". But what he doesn't know (or wouldn't understand ) is that you all are NOT strangers...your my friends! Every now and then when he sees likes or comments on FB he will be like..."Who is so-and-so" and I just say...oh, someone from one of my mom groups. This is the only place I post and then in a private FB group for hydrocephalus. And I did participate in a meet up for the hydro group a few years ago and he didn't bat an eye at that, even encouraged it. So I don't know...I am just weird about it for some reason. |

jewels it must be an NJ thing. My H knows that my Fitbit group is moms from online and that you are the ones who got me into BBM and that he needed to teach me to PayPal for some gifts but not a whole lot otherwise. I don’t really say anything juicy here but it’s kinda like when I talk to my friends on the phone and I go in another room to do it. It probably would be less weird if I had mentioned you all years ago. It’s kinda like at gymnastics there is one mom I always talk to but I never knew her name and it’s been so long I felt funny asking. The other day she mentioned she was in a Broadway show for 3 years so I slept like an hour researching that play to see if I could find her name.

tallb my BFF’s parents had a beach house and I spent a good part of my teenage years there. We kept a joint journal every summer. She still has them. Have a ever mentioned we met my now DH together at the beach and she dated him before I did and basically all my friends have hooked up with all of his? I had to give our best men lots of rules for their wedding speeches. Someday, we will drink and read the journals. They were hidden at her parents house but now she’s divorced so maybe she can get them.
