Good morning! Hope everyone has a great weekend.

Maggie has swim this morning, then we go right to a birthday party at a petting zoo (and it's pretty cold here, so . . .). My in-laws are here to celebrate Maggie's birthday a little early so we'll spend the afternoon and evening with them. Tomorrow is gymnastics for both kids and the Maggie's birthday party. Busy, busy.

Just our usual morning routine, up feeding C. I might try squeeze in another hour of sleep if N stays sleeping.
Today DH is playing baseball (with the windchill it’s -12) and I’m taking the kids to help my sister move in to their new house. N is sad Zia is moving but I’m hoping once he sees the house and all the stuff around them that we can do when we visit he will be a bit better.

Haircuts for both kids this morning and then M has a party to go to at the nature center at 1. I’m making MH take her because I don’t do snakes. It’s conveniently during H’s nap so I’ll be “alone” for a couple hours!

Morning! I’ve been at work for a few hours. For some dumb reason DH let the girls both sleep on the couch so I had to be extra quiet when I was getting ready this morning. I don’t think we have anything planned for the day after I get off work this afternoon.

Hi! We picked today for T’s party because we were suppose to have no other plans. Of course that means a hockey practice was added for 6am, and soccer make ups were added. The party is 11-1, T’s soccer is usually at 5 outdoors but they moved it to 2 indoors and DD has a game at 3. T’s soccer is actually pretty close to his party location now so we could hang out extra at the party then go but we will see. It will make me late for DD’s championship game at 3 (she will be on time with DH). After we get through today, I have to figure out Baby C’s party. He will be 11 months tomorrow. How did that happen?

DH got up with the kids this morning and is currently making a donut run with B. C and I are playing with play-doh in the meantime.

Tomorrow is her birthday (how is she 2??) so I need to get her presents wrapped today and pick up some cupcakes and balloons. We’re doing a party with family next weekend when we’re home.

Morning. Still laying in bed while h is bouncing around like a wild man on top of us. N is still asleep. Sitter is coming at 12:30 for us to go to the gopher game. I’m prepared to freeze my butt off.

Morning! Josie’s 5 today, which baffles me.
We’re following her lead today and so far it’s been pretty easy: bacon and grapefruit juice for breakfast and pop beads to play with. During the downtime I’ll be party prepping for tomorrow!

I need input. We went looking for couches last night. Options are limited at our 2 furniture stores but I found exactly the couch I want.. chaise sectional that’s deep and cushy, but it isn’t exactly the color I want.

Thoughts on this color? We brought a cushion home to see it in the room. Is it too blah? Would we be able to make it work with nice throw pillows in maybe a dark faux leather since that would tie in with the bar? Or do we need something different entirely? Paging flamingo




ETA: the color looks completely different in these pics but ids say the tru color is somewhere in between

Gymnastics this morning, then we'll head to Target immediately after for their LOL scavenger hunt thing. I have no idea what to expect and she thinks we're just going to buy LOLs. Then right after that we go to swim class. I think she's very close to moving up.

Tomorrow I'm taking her to the movies for a family Grinch party. There are games and activities, then they show the movie. Should be a fun time.

Morning! I took yesterday off work because I really needed a day to myself. Since I started this temporary position I just haven’t had any down time. But I got so much done it was great! Today S and I are hanging out at home while MH works (opening day of deer season so he’s busy catching the illegal hunters). It’s like a national holiday here so school is closed Monday-Wednesday 🙄. Luckily we’ll be in STL Monday and Tuesday for dr appt, so I only have to find child care for 1 day.

slenle I think if you dress it up with pillows/throw then it will be fine. But, I’m kinda a plain Jane. I tend to stick with neutrals. So I might not be the right person to chime in. Lol.

I need toddler fashion advice! Lol. I can’t decide if these pants are high waters on my tall skinny girl or if they are intended to be worn with booties or something instead. Opinions? Trying to decide if I need to put them in the donate pile yet or not. This is the first time she’s wore them. Please ignore the mess that shes made and the hair that hasn’t been brushed yet! Lol.

No custom options on this one. And it actually is the floor model on clearance (bonus!) so we could have it right away which Dh likes.

I have to pickup the cake order, my target order, and I need to swing by Carter’s to pickup some pants/leggings/tights for E. It’s been cold in MN.

ETA if weather allows, I’d put a ballet flat under it .

slenle I hate to be the naysayer but the color against the walls and carpet is feeling blah to me personally. I just prefer a bit more contrast. I love the shape, though--looks comfy.

lfig they look a bit short but I wouldn’t think much of it if I saw her. They would look good with boots!

lfig I think they could be cute with ballet flats, like a capri/ankle pant style. If your weather at this time of year doesn't allow for that, then I'd probably donate them.

Yeah, you’re probably right and that was my thought too. But the price and the fact that it’s just a basement couch make me not care as much.

I’ll keep looking.

Anyone want to help me find a couch exactly like the style above but available in more colors?!

ETA: actually, I had his one pinned from wayfair that comes in 2 colors. I am weary about buying online tho.

slenle I think its beautiful and will be a great neutral for whatever color pillows/throws you pick.

lfig She’s so adorable! They’d be fine for an indoor event but they might be too cold for the winter days
