I have garlic chicken and potatoes in the crockpot and a pumpkin pie in the oven. I’m excited for dinner and desert!

We are headed to a party in an hour. It’s at a Chuck E. Cheese type place. Later I want to go shopping for some holiday decor. It’s also fairly nice so I’d like to get C outside.

C gets up on his own now in the morning which is great because Dh and I can sleep. Only problem is he gets his own breakfast which today was two donuts, pepperoni and Cheetos. He also poured his own milk from a full jug without spilling, which I was impressed with. Not impressed with the junk food breakfast but it’s still worth sleeping until 8:30.

It was fun, thanks! Totally chaotic. 21 kids (including mine) and 19 adults all at my house. No drama or kid saying he wants a new mom though, so it's a win!

@slene check online at wayfair or Amazon for the same couch. I do that with most of my furniture to check prices, colors, and reviews

slenle, love the couch! I feel like with art/decor, pillows, a throw, ect it'll look great! You could even add a thin rug under the couch if it's too much tan.

@slene I should also add that we have been looking for the next sectional for a while. If you find the right size and comfort but a neutral color I would say go for it especially if it's in budget

Hi! Not sure if I checked in today but soccer was cancelled and the hockey game we wanted to go to was sold out, so we've had a lot of time to fill. DH has been super involved so maybe these CTJ talks are making a difference. He's still finalizing which therapist he wants to see but seems very committed to going, so I am feeling positive. I'm also starting to feel better, so that helps.

Party was a success. Only T, his 2 friends from his party, and 1 other boy showed up at soccer. DD’s team took first place with an undefeated season. DH is picking up take out then I’m hoping for early bed. I was hit with a migraine this morning and I really need to lay down.

I'm pooped. J was a bit of a jerk to my mom when we got there an I am still angry about it. I asked how he'd feel if she acted that way to him and he said he'd be happy...not going to fly. My mom said make sure he knows she still loves him when he's grouchy, meanwhile I told him she isn't going give him a birthday present to someone who is that rude. MOTY.

We have pics in the morning so I took the kids to get their hair trimmed. H screamed bloody murder and was horrible. I noticed after his bath tonight that the back of his hair is horrible and the front is uneven. Awesome.

She did the best she could given the circumstances, but damn.

I told her to try wiggling it the opposite way, she kept pushing it forward. Then she went to go into the kitchen and was all, uh mom, my tooth came out! I thought she was joking. She got so excited and ran to get the little tooth pocket that the tooth fairy left for her the other day. (I sewed a tooth out of felt for her to put her tooth in and left it in the tooth fairy mailbox that came with the door). I think what freaked her out was the blood in the tooth. She wanted to brush it, but I was afraid she would drop it down the drain.
Mh has to go get some cash cause it's the one time he doesn't have any. She told us the tooth fairy doesn't leave coins.

Today was a crazy busy day. After getting ready, I rushed out of the house with M2 so we could make two stops before heading to the party place to prep. The party was great. Not as many kids as I thought, but still a good turnout. Then we dropped all the party stuff at my house before heading to the football game. And after the game, all of the family from out of town came over for dinner and more visiting. Fun, but exhausting day.

Since the kids had late nights, please let them sleep deeply and soundly through the night and wake a little later than usual. 😴

I thought I responded to this but realized I hadn’t. Luckily cagoldi and I don’t live in the fire areas. However I have friends who have been evacuated. They are all safe now and again luckily no one has lost there home at this time.

Thanks for thinking of us. It’s pretty crazy especially since November is the beginning of our “rainy” season.

lahdeedah everything went great, thank goodness! We had a little scare that our city representative wouldn’t be in time (she would open the event), but she cane running in in the eleventh hour and gave an amazing speech! The comedy group did great and people loved the flower bulbs (amaryllis) we picked out as a present .

Morning. I'm giving myself another day before I start running again so I'm just relaxing until the kids make enough noise to move me. I'm a bit nervous about taking the boys solo to MA for the party today because Chase hasn't pooped since Thursday. I need all the backup clothes.
