So turns out my flight isn't totally set and I might show up at the airport and not have a ticket. Awesome. Someone's been working on it but I haven't gotten any updates yet.

Bazaars were fun. Maddie just started her test. She walked in like a boss.

Cass always wants to pick out my clothes. Of course she wants me to look like a histrionic preschooler. She asked me to wear my "Minnie dress" this morning. I told her I dont have one. She replied, "It covers your crotch but you wear pants anyway." Lol. 🤣

snoopmommymom If O wanted to be playing, that’s probably fine. Glad he’s doing well for the most part with recovery.

DD had a soccer game then T was suppose to have his soccer clinic. There was an hour in between and it was windy so we went home then I took C back. The coaches never showed up so they ran on the field for 45 minutes then we left.

Tomorrow we have a sitter because DH and I were both going to DD’s next gymnastics meet but then hockey added a game so H has to go to that and I will take DD. It’s fall break this week for the big kids so only 8 kids will be at hockey so DS will have to skate almost the entire game. There is an app where I can see who DD is competing against so of course I was checking out her opponent’s previous scores because I’m now that mom. If she sticks her routines, she should do well.

We went and saw Small Foot this afternoon. It was cute. It was an 11:30 movie and I was hoping Dh would just sleep and I would take C on my own but he didn’t and passed out on the couch so C and I are trying to stay out of his way but it’s a small house and it’s too cold to be outside for long.

Where do you all get dog tags? We were at Petsmart this morning but it was packed and H was being an asshole, so we left without a tag for Addie. I thought it might actually be cheaper to just get one online.

DH is in a bit of a better mood than expected, now that he's finally home. Still keeping to himself, but it's not overly tense or anything. The boys and I played outside and now they're doing art. I kept them up 25 minutes late last night and want to aim for at least 45 minutes tonight to get them adjusting to the time change.

Tomorrow is marathon Sunday so I'll be watching on TV as much as I can. I have a few friends running but I think the boys are still a bit young to go in to watch.

Went to the party this morning and then swim class. I got home and fell asleep. I woke up at 4:15, second party was at 5, so mh took her and I'm just hanging on the couch.

klong11 Dh was telling me about a BBQ place in your area called Franklins that has a six week wait for take out. Is it actually that amazing?

He ended up at Terry Blacks and said it was amazing.

He loved it there so hopefully we will make it down there for a visit as a family some day.

my whole family will be here all together so I have extra high expectations of the house.

Current status: Stuck

Helping MH, FIL, and BIL with some stuff at their place in AR. Had to get some stuff out to a field past the middle of no where. So 2 trucks each pulling a trailer....and we are stuck. In the the mud. Tires spinning. Been here for 2.5 hours trying to get unstuck. Luckily I had some peanut butter crackers for Sierra. And a drink for her. We’ve called a friend to come help but I’m not hopeful. We are buried pretty good. Next call is to a tow truck. Which I’m sure will be a pretty penny on a Saturday night. Silver lining....S is still awake. Maybe this will make the DST transition easier?

And I’m hungry. We were going to fry fish and potatoes for dinner tonight but by the time we get back I’m sure we are all going to pass out from exhaustion with no dinner.

I emailed a handful of cleaning people. If I can get someone in this week it would save me a lot of time.
Tomorrow I’m going to sit down and order the decorations and paper goods from amazon, and I’ll place a peapod order to be delivered Friday afternoon, so I can avoid stores. BUT i have been debating if I should scratch my menu and have the whole thing catered.
So much of this is mental for me. A bigger party in a new house has me questioning where decorations will go and where I should set up food. It was practically something I could do auto pilot in our old house, so it’s a lot of questions that hit me in the middle of the night.

Got the kitchen trim and the boys bedroom trim and our bathroom trim all painted today and painted our bathroom. I need to touch up the kitchen and hopefully get a coat of paint on the boys room tomorrow. I'm exhausted.

My sil abd brother watched my boys this morning so I could paint while dh put insulation in the garage. Its the first time I've ever left them with them and it went really well! I watch their boys all the time so it was nice for them to return the favor lol.

Ah, yes, Franklin's. I've never actually had it. People get in line for the day hours before.they open. You never know how much will be available for the day and once they run out, it's out.
There used to be highschool/college kids who you could pay to stand in line for you, then they would give you a call when it was almost your turn. Franklin's put a stop to that.
