joelies , sheets might be too heavy. What about newspaper? That's actually what's suggested - newspaper or batting, but I don't have either. Plastic bags? We have TONS of those. I am sure I can scrounge something up if I ask around. I was going to recommend plastic bags. They made a nice head for our scarecrow. Also glad you got to vent |

Morning. Pete is on PTO so he can take Dude to the pre-op visit for removal of his ventilation tubes. I have my infusion this afternoon, then I'm hoping I don't feel too crappy afterwards because I need to run around to do a million things for Atticus birthday and Halloween tomorrow. Ventilation tubes? |

joelies I find the best thing to do when mh isn't talking to me is to act like I don't even notice. I just get my stuff done and act like he's invisible. Once he realizes I don't give a shit that he isn't talking, he starts talking.

joelies Sorry things aren't better. Could you send him a text and tell him you want to talk, just the two of you, as soon as you get a chance? Maybe open things up a little? Although I tend to take the communication strategy that klong11 does...but it doesn't really work well in my marriage. We have the worst communication ever.

I guess it's not that common that one or both are retained, but of course we would be in that minority. |

Hi from work. I had to open my old teams office because K is on jury Duty and S was running late. S bought a house but it’s a long commute to work, so I’m sure she’s going to be late more often again.

Thanks guys. Honestly I'm so sick of bigs talks. I've been walking on eggshells for too long and I've agreed to let him figure his shit out, but at this point I'm tired of the CTJ talks about our marriage when the real issue at hand is his depression and refusal to do anything about it. I can't imagine this going over well but I don't see how else we can move forward.

My kids are driving me nuts today and I'm about to lose it on one of my drivers. I've been emailing for weeks about fuel taxes being due and needing their information so I can file. I have everything from everyone except one driver. He has his cousin do his paperwork and boy does she suck at it. If I don't get them filed on time, they are paying the fine.

One fell out at some point and our ENT removed the other one this past spring. It was pretty easy—he did it right there in the office—but it may have already been half out, can’t recall now. |

I’m sorry you are dealing with this joelies. It sounds like a tough way to live in a lot of ways. I don’t know if y’all have ever tried counseling, but I wonder if some sessions alone might be beneficial for you, both for a neutral party to vent to, and to give you some coping strategies or just crystallize things in your mind in terms of what you want long-term. |

Trunk or treat was a success! The kids were so cute and all the parents did a nice job with their decorations...I loved seeing all the different themes! It was a great morning.  |

If nothing else you've waited this long, I got a great deal on my car on black Friday. They did an exclusive deal that was only for a few hours that day and totally worth it. flamingo I'm like a kid and I'm a sucker for Rice Krispie treats. So simple and so good.

I'm on day 4 for no voice. I get assigned work whether I'm here or not unless it's a multiple day absence so I'm at work so I don't get further behind since I'm out for the next 2 weeks for my other job. My travel still hasn't been arranged so I don't even know when I fly out. So annoyed. It's been crazy here and hard to stay afloat. I really hope I can talk tomorrow because I should have several patients. I'm so glad I had a joint party for the girls. I plan to always do it that way. So much easier. One family asked if they could bring a sibling. I said no problem because it also happens to be a sibling the girls both know. Well she also brought 2 other siblings and her husband so it was extra $$$ just for her family.  I've known them a while though and I didn't really expect much different. Cass got a knock-off American Girl doll and named it Petunia.  ETA: FTR, I don't mind bringing a sibling to a party and budget for extras, I just think it's tacky to bring 3 other siblings and a spouse who obviously could have stayed home with the extras. |

I'm at the point of telling both dealerships to go F themselves and just waiting longer. I sent my final offer to the dealership I was at yesterday and am waiting to hear back. I went in really low and made them throw extra oil changes in, a cargo cover for the back, etc. I may have lied a little and told them the original dealership lowered my monthly payment, to help push them. I also told them if they want it in this month, it has to be today because I have other obligations tomorrow, which is true! |
