I've been awake since 3:30 stressed about this stupid car decision. Work out complete for the day.

Good Morning, just up feeding C. He gave me a four hour stretch of sleep and I feel like a brand new person. Now the cat is nudging me for food but I know his bowl is full... he does this every morning

Charlie and I are up watching Halloween shows.
MH is home today with a sinus infection; urgent care gave him antibiotics.
I’m going to run out by myself this morning to do some errands.

I’m sorry, mwhip, that’s the worst. Are you leaning one way or another? Will the original dealership offers any perks because of the inconveniences? The original dealership doesn't seem to be willing to budge at all. No offers of reduced payments, reduced cash at closing, nothing. I sent our sales guy a text with what offer I was entertaining and haven't heard back. I think I'll go in guns blazing this morning and totally low ball the other dealership. They asked me last night what it would take to get this deal done... I just can't figure out why H is being such a jerk about it. |

I’m waiting in my car because I am way too early for an AA meetings and it’s cold out. After this I have a half day meeting at Blue Cross for a presentation about a new health plan. I’m sure it will be thrilling😐 Dh left at 3:30 this morning to fly to TX for a conference and I had a hard time falling back asleep so I’m tired. We had a pretty good night last night though and felt like us again so that was good. I’m excited to bring Haunting of Hill House this week. Dh doesn’t like scary stuff so I’ve only caught a few episodes but I need to know what happened. GL with negotiations mwhip! |

Heading out to preschool/Trunk is Treat in a bit. B is SO excited, he’s been in his costume since 8. My Rice Krispie treats turned out well, too—now I just need the gumball machine to last 45 minutes 😂

Pete is on PTO so he can take Dude to the pre-op visit for removal of his ventilation tubes.
I have my infusion this afternoon, then I'm hoping I don't feel too crappy afterwards because I need to run around to do a million things for Atticus birthday and Halloween tomorrow.

Morning girls, my kid is officially five. I cannot believe it. Dh and I and both brought him to school this morning and it was adorable. There’s have a birthday story they tell, starting from when mom is pregnant and how they longed to see their baby, up until today, with small personal things about each year in between. He was so proud with the birthday cape and crown handing out his treats, I could only just keep it together. My parents are coming over tonight for a birthday pancake dinner.

SD got a good scholarship to a school we have basically forbidden her to go to due to decline in academics. I hope she gets the same scholarships to 2 other schools we want her to go to. But we're proud of her academics this far

If it's not the child waking me up, then it's the damn kitten. He was doing so good sleeping with mh. Last night I guess he decided to give my bed a try, only he wasn't looking to sleep. He was looking to roll around on my face and wouldn't take no for an answer. I picked him up and tried to shove him into mh's room and run away. He followed me. He got distracted by the food bowl, so I ran into my room and shut the door.
The child, of course, slept all through the night in her own bed. They are conspiring against me!

Sunny41, what is she wanting to major in? Well she isn't really sure because she is doing everything she can to study art without actually declaring an art major. She was thinking art education but her mom (a teacher) convinced her she could just get her certification. Then it was art professor and "never stop going to school". Or art history because she could study in France for a semester. Basically she has no idea and has lofty high school teen ideas about life. |

Morning. DH and I still aren't talking, one of my best friends asked me for a few grand because her soon to be ex-H hasn't been paying his share of anything, and my back hurts from sleeping on that awful mattress in the guest room. On a positive note of my coworkers in AZ let me vent to her and aside from crying at my desk, it really helped. I feel like I can't talk to anyone who knows DH about our issues since WE aren't even talking about them.
In other news, I need to get the boys' costumes ready to go to daycare and school tomorrow. Colin needs his shell stuffed with something (I was thinking sheets?) to give it a shape, but fortunately neither costume requires much. Colin also has pajama day on Thursday - I'm really relieved by all the ways they keep things fun for the kindergarteners. They really get that the transition to full-day school is a big jump and they have all sorts of ways to add fun and play into the days. It's probably pretty standard but it's gone a long way to making this transition easier on ME. Colin seems pretty happy, too.

Sunny41, perhaps she could major in education, with a minor in art. Then, she could be an art teacher or a teacher in general.
