You aren't already? AE should really put you on retainer for all the marketing you do for them. There’s a handful of us who are ride or die with AE. So I want my check too. Shirt, cardi and jeans are all AE today. Where's my money ?

I want Old Navy money or discount or something for all the people who bought stuff from the Fall thread.
I am really happy that for once people liked something I posted

And just to be very clear, because I forgot how y’all are. I am not bothered by this, by any means. Simply put, I question a posters intentions when they post things that have 0 relevance to the conversation. An Audi is not relevant to a conversation about $35k-$40k SUVs with captain seats, period. There's also a big difference between someone asking for $50 shoe recs and someone suggesting $100 shoes and looking for $30k SUV recs and people suggesting $60k SUVs.

Ok but if I ask for an opinion or advice why answer if you aren't going to answer what the OP asked for? If the others needed advice they have just as much access to making a thread But then we have 12 different threads on the board's favorite socks at different price points. It turns into board clutter and that's not the kind of HIH I want to live in. Keep the front page tidy! Remember last year when there was a new thread everyday about everyone's SS sleep training journey? Because I do and it was terrible. Oh this is true. This is annoying AF. There’s like 5 threads about sleep training and someone starts a new thread “now it’s my turn for a sleep training thread! I have all the same problems as the other 5 threads but my problem is totally different because my precious is allergic to gluten!” :: waits for mack to get mad ::

It’s also annoying AF when someone states their budget and people come in just to “I would never ...” their price range.

I mean everyone can say what they want, but I have seen recommendation threads where the person gave the budget and the first 3 posts were over the budget. Said OP came back and said these are all nice, but out of my price range and people still posted higher items.
I am sure most of it is people don't read and so they missed the firm budget post or they really like the product they use, but it is something

If the price points for the models they mention are the same, generally that's probably their budget range. Like in the case where a more expensive model was mentioned, it sounds like the poster mentioned looking at them and the size, not the $$$, was the issue. That's different.

I am in the market for a three row luxury SUV with captains chairs. So you guys helped me. And it’s all about me. Get the Escalade like you said. It seems to be your best option. Quite honestly there aren’t a lot of options in that market for what you are looking for. And defining luxury large SUV always gets wonky because some people would claim the Lincoln Navigator and Yukon Denali are luxury but they aren’t. Nice but not a luxury vehicle. Get the Escalade in that brownish color, it’s very classy.

Okay but if I wanted a $100 bag I would’ve asked for it. But what if it's an awesome $100 bag and everything you wanted? Then you could by 3-6 of them. One for each day of the week!

It’s not like someone said I’m looking for recs for an suv and a poster comes in saying how amazing their motorcycle is. It’s usually just a price difference. I’m dying at this. I’m going to recommend motorcycles for everything. Brb. Going to the shoe thread. I'm gonna go and recommend a bicycle in the handbag thread. Similar price points too.

It’s also annoying AF when someone states their budget and people come in just to “I would never ...” their price range. Hi, it’s me sterling. I would never and then later I did. I’ll be here eating my hat. Most of my “I would never”’ is internal monologue though.

We also do realize there is a difference between sleep training and people's budget/recommendation threads right?

I'm in a travel group on FB and you have no idea how often someone posts "looking to take my first trip with 2 year old, so I don't want a long flight and I'm based in Colorado". And 20 people comment "Bali! Fiji! Tokyo! It's ONLY a 10 hour flight from LAX!" lol

I think I just feel bad if the OP doesn't actually get the information they were seeking "I am looking for ~$50 black ballet flats." "I love these blue 3" heels. They were only $250!" Helpful.
