Busy freaking Friday...
But we had a back to school picnic at the elementary school this evening. Only a few kindergarten kids were there, but one was one of the kids Colin mentioned the other day. They we're playing together in the bounce house before we left so I reminded Colin to say goodbye before we left. The other kid ran out to give Colin a hug, it was so cute! Then he was a bit more forthcoming with stories from school before bedtime, which is now when we have a little private time to talk. He seems to be doing great - not overwhelmed with the work and he's making friends.
I am feeling so relieved.
And so emotional because he's growing up too fast. I need help, LOL.

What a day! It was an all B day; kinder start in the morning, then MH was off work early so we went bowling, super fun but 30 minutes is plenty of time, then went out for dinner. We’re so extra over here, oops!

Now settled in with the new Noah movie, Sierra Burgess is a Loser, and a glass of wine. Perfect end to the day 😀🍷

This week really solidified how badly we need our compound. Who’s winning the Lotto? I'm telling you, we just need to dream up the next Paw Patrol. #goldmine THINK, PEOPLE. Think similar to this is us... there are these women with kids around the same age. They each have a special set of skills and happen to have kids around the same age. Most of the episode is focused on some shenanigans or scenario (pool contractor, first day of school, disastrous swim/gym lesson). All through the day the women pop online and message their friends. Then sweet relief of wine at night. |
