Madison knows how to sucker me in and saw a full suited pajama set that was Care Bears so I bought it for her yesterday.
The visit with my mom was nice but went by quickly. I wish she lived closer .
We're going to the fair today. It should be a long but fun day .

Dh and I slept until 9:30. No idea what time C got up but he was happily watching tv with a bag of goldfish when I got up. I did double BBM today in anticipation of a busy work week. We are leaving soon to go to my parents for a cookout and my dad is taking C fishing again. Later we have to get groceries for the week but no other plans.

vino Glad you enjoyed the movies. I think that is what I’ll plan to do this afternoon. I wanted to read the book first, but I just don’t have the time.

lahdeedah I can't remember if it was one or both ears that were infected when Dude got tubes, but I recall he definitely had an active one going at the time. The ENT said it's fine because the tubes will allow it to drain plus they get drops for aftercare anyway. Hoping for a smooth procedure for M on Thursday!

I ran out this morning to pick up some steaks for tonight, stopped at Starbucks, and now I’m home.
MH is an anxious mess about starting school tomorrow.
Potty training for Charlie is going well. He was hesitant this morning, but I just kept showing him where the potty was.
@nam, Josie will have the same situation when she starts school on the 12th. We met the director numerous times, but no meet and greet for her teacher.
No plans today. It’s really nice here so we’re going to snack and swim all day.

He’s a little snotty but in a good mood. I started the drops yesterday so hopefully it will clear up the infection. |

A bear just sauntered through our backyard. My neighbor must have seen him/her as well and sent a text to let me know. She said she sees her all the time, that she has a white spot on her chest and theyve named her Wilma . I’m a little enchanted.

We are having a lazy day here. E and I are currently resting upstairs. C is napping while LO is playing and watching Octonaughts downstairs. LO and I need to frost our carrot cupcakes.
I also want to get everything ready for tomorrow. First day of school for LO and first day back at work for me. I need to pack a lot of snack foods for me for work.

Mh took Cadence to get new ballet shoes. Then I get texts asking which ones. I tell him specifically which ones. The next text said "oops, didn't get those ones."
....
I told him if they fall off he's buying her another pair.
I haven't heard anything else and they still aren't back yet.

Hi! Brunch was yummy; the mimosa + massive quantities of protein and carbs made me so sleepy, so I snuck in a nap while C slept. DH took B to Target for a few items. He is currently taking C to Target for a Paw Patrol toy, b/c he let B get one earlier (C's interest in PP has resurrected B's...he had all but abandoned his PP toys until C found them, natch); of course they are fighting over the helicopter so we need a second  I wish I had invented Paw Patrol. What is the next Paw Patrol? Maybe we need to put our thinking caps on, N13...this could be the way to pay for the compound! |

FFMC? I’m not a fan of pas patrol... not big on character tv shows in general 🙄. I think it's fairly harmless/wholesome; it annoys me a lot less than other stuff aimed at this age group. Ideally I like a mix b/c I don't want a houseful of Paw Patrol (or any 'branded' toys) that they will lose interest in when they outgrow the show; I like the train set, magna-tiles, duplo's, and other more 'generic'/creative toys they can grow with them as their interests change. |

Hey. Lazy day at my house. DH and I both have the day off so we’ve just been hanging at home. I’m actually feeling a little better than I was yesterday, probably because I actually got to get a full night of sleep. This evening we are going to the IL’s house for supper. GMIL is back in the hospital, now with pneumonia and a rash. I don’t know how much longer she’ll be around so I told DH he needs to go see her today.
