guster - I've never seen a bear in our yard but bob cats occasionally walk through. The boys love watching through the slider and are generally noisy enough to keep anything away while they're outside.

Hiiiiiii! We started the day with groceries and then a parade. DH and I argued about when to leave so although he agreed to leave earlier, he dragged his feet so that we left when he originally wanted to. And the roads were already closed. We found a spot eventually and the boys had a blast running after candy. Is that a thing everywhere? I don't remember that from when I was a kid.
We had Five Guys for lunch and went for ice cream, so we're going light for dinner. And tomorrow's lunches are already packed thanks to Play-Doh. Colin played for a solid half hour and Chase for almost an hour!!
Anyhow I'm exhausted from the long weekend. We did lots of little outings, plus AF started and my poison ivy is so bad. I'll probably work from home tomorrow since I have to bring the boys to the dentist in the afternoon anyway. I look so gross.

E and I did another target run today. LO is napping and E is eating. Once LO is up C and him will frost the cupcakes. LO has a meltdown at lunch that is why he is napping.

J loves paw patrol in theory, he rarely has seen it. We really don't venture past pbs kids with the occasional Netflix sprinkled in. N likes Daniel tiger and sesame Street, j prefers ready jet go. I like that they are kind of educational and no toy commercials.

Cs current favorite shows are Muppet Babies and Puppy Dog Pals. I really like the cat on Puppy Dog Pals, Hissy. I’m happy he is back to more young cartoons vs Power Rangers and Spider-Man.

Currently soaking in an extremely hot bath in our small bathroom while E breaths in the steam to clear the congestion. It’s hotter then I normally do but I wanted to get as much steam in the tiny bathroom as possible. Will probably run the after again before I get out.

Also Looney Toons and some of the old/original Disney cartoons. eta: wedding I love Puppy Dog Pals--I'm really great at singing the song. C always goes, "no no no!" and waves her hand at me to stop  Mine like that one, too. Personally I want to avoid the 'superhero' / comic book character cartoons as long as we can so I am just fine with the sweeter stuff. We also introduced B to the old Andy Griffith show re-runs while we were up in Maine, and he actually really enjoyed some of the ones with Opie. (Yes, I'm showing my age here  ) |

Josie consistently asks for Ocotnauts, Peep and the Big Wide World, Dot, and Alphablocks on YouTube. She’ll watch Vampirina and Fancy Nancy when there’s a new episode, but never on repeat like the others. Charlie just discovered Curious George, so Josie loves it once again. I’m glad to have that little monkey back.

I banned powerrangers because M was getting overly aggressive and wanting to fight like they do.
We watch bubble guppies, which I love. Paw patrol, umizoomie, and lots of movies. 101 dalmatians, cars, Jurassic world, wreck it Ralph and transformers are the current favorites.

Not @nam, And I don’t really care personally, but I wonder if it’s the commercialism of all of it. So a kid might watch Shimmer and Shine and then want the toys, the t-shirts, and the dress up clothes, but chances are if he’s watching Sarah and Duck or Stella and Sam, there’s less “merch.” |

S just got back into paw patrol after not watching it for 6or so months. But B got some themed gifts for his bd so I guess it reminded him
S loves all the LEGO movies and tv shows ( ninjago, supergirls, Batman etc) on Netflix. We still watch a lot of little Einstein’s and b loves it too. Also just started watching super monsters which I think is adorable. And stretch Armstrong But S will literally watch anything

Also hi! We had our first overnight away from the kids last night (MH is always away and I’ve been away with the girls but this is our first together since S was born!!)
We were gone for about 36 hours for an OOT wedding and my parents stayed with the boys. It went well, so 🤞they’ll do it again one day!!

tgrimes I hope H gets to feeling better! We had lots of fun at the party yesterday, but didnt leave until 10:30. I have no idea how Evie stayed awake so late. H and I had beers in the driveway when we got home, so I was tired today. We didnt do much today, which was nice. Evies first day of preschool is tomorrow. We have her dress picked out and I did her nails.

O has been watching pj masks a lot lately and they both got into Peppa Pig a few weeks ago. Z just discovered Daniel Tiger so she is choosing that. Oh they both like Masha and the Bear too.

Dh wanted to go to a tractor pull out of town next weekend with his dad. He's working out of town this Thursday until next friday. I point that out and the fact that we have a thousand things to get done at the house so now he's not speaking to me. His childish attitude lately is killing me.
