I need a big ticket item for both kids for Sinterklaas and I have no idea whatsoever. I’ve gotten both kids books, new comforters & covers and plan on getting pyjamas. Last year they go a store with all the supplies. We have a kitchen, workbench, bikes, loads of duplo, Lego, etc. I’m at a loss.
ETA oh and ds’s wish list doesn’t go beyond wooden animals...

What about a collection of boardgames,@nam? Or art desks and aprons and a basket of supplies?

Here’s my list for B, XP from the daily. -Beanbag chair (he’s outgrown his AC) -Toy cash register -New luggage (prob rolling suitcase, in eyeing one at PBK) -Connect 4 game -jump rope -Legos (sets) -will probably introduce him to Star Wars and get a few of those type toys (action figures, a LEGO set, or similar) And always books and clothes. What bean bag chair did/are you getting?

We’ve had good luck with their chairs and since we’ll probably want to get C one in a couple years I like knowing they’ll still be around so they can match.

This was the hit of Cs gifts It’s the Spider-Man mega city playset. It’s almost four feet tall and was a pain to put together but he loves it. Also the guys weren’t included but my dad got them off amazon easily.

Xmas gifts:
Ok so E is getting a doll and a bunch of toys we kept from LO plus a wearable blanket.
LO got a bunch of games, some pirate toys, and a grinch toy. We still need the big item for him. He wants a fishing pole and a bike. We really don’t have a place for the bike so I’m leaning towards the pole
Lo’s Birthday, he is getting darts Vader shoes and bullseye horse for his woody doll.

This is cool! I think M would love this. The problem would be finding a place him to do it without M2 trying to claw his way at it. Have you decided on it, yet?

Cs current Xmas wish list:
Hot wheels track (I’m thinking we will get a nice one and have it assembled under the tree and also get him a carrying case since the cars get lost so easily)
A drone- I’m hesitant since they are fragile but he’s wanted one for over a year so I’ll probably get a cheap one.
An electric guitar- not happening. He is saving his arcade tickets to try and win one. We have 4,000 tickets and it is 15,000. Hopefully he will be over it by then.
Things I want to get him:
I like that snow scooter wine posted.
He will need a new snowsuit this year and boots
Always needs more pants since he rips the knees all the time.
More art stuff. I really want to encourage it and it’s the only thing he does solo.
Maybe a Garmin kids activity tracker. I think he would enjoy it and has been really into telling time so he would like the watch.

We don't give Cadence gifts for her birthday. We consider her party her gift, plus we take her to Chuck e. Cheese on her actual birthday.
For Christmas: violin LoL shit (biggie pet, live pet, bigger surprise) Whatever else I got her on prime day and hid in the closet, I can't remember.

Well Julia is the reason we’re not getting it for the same reasons you listed. Generally on her naps on the weekends we have one on one time woth him out of the house. I think in the spring I might get him a desk so maybe an Easter gift.

Anyone have the Moonlite Story Projector? It looks cool, just wondering what the best age group would be for it.

C's favorite birthday gifts so far are a remote control robot and a car that you control by giving it commands into a watch you wear.

wedding, we got E a cheap drone last year. It is pretty fun if even just to chase or go up and down. They have a lot for sale around xmas. But definitely do them in a place with lots of room and not a lot of trees

wedding, maybe start with something easier than a drone. Airhogs has some great remote control and hovercraft type toys that are really cool. Mh loves them. LOL

We let Evie open some birthday presents early this weekend. Basically, they are things the kids can use to create an obstacle course out on our screened porch. Some colorful "river stones", a hanging trapeze thingy, hanging pod swing. We already had a mini trampoline (highly recommend) and bunch of poufs they could use to jump in. It will soon be too cold to use the porch (H wants to put a pellet stove out there, which might be his Xmas present), but you could easily use these things in a basement/playroom too. Ignore the door, not sure what's going on with that.

We’re thinking of getting N a gymnastics bar and mat for her birthday now since the basement will be done. It’s a big purchase so Christmas will be smaller things, maybe a couple puzzles and a doll.
Not sure what to get H. He’s into hot-wheels so maybe a cool track.

Ideas for non toy gifts? My in-laws like to do more practical gifts, but physical gifts the kids can open so no money in the college fund type thing. Last year they did luggage, booster, clothes, winter coat, sheets for C. L got sheets, sound machine and humidifier for her new room, clothes, luggage.
Not sure what to suggest this year other than clothes and diapers/formula for A.
