lfig Yikes! Glad they caught it early. peachsmama (whispering) I hate to tell you, but we always used water bottles for our rabbit and guinea pigs. Otherwise stuff got in the water. :ducks:

Colin is all excited for tomorrow and DH said his eyes were still watering after he picked him up, so the poor kiddo wasn't exaggerating.
Chase's forehead looks perfect, no evidence of this morning's fall. So glad this day is almost over.

On another note, just got off the phone with the dermatologist office. The spot they removed from MH was melanoma. So he has to go back and get a larger area removed for safety margins. It was just in the top layer of skin though so he won’t need any further treatment after that. But because of the location (on his temple) they want him to go to a plastic surgeon for it. Glad they caught it! Is it in situ? That's what I had and was pretty easy but mine wasn't on my face. I just wrapped up 3 mo visits for 2 years and now only have to go every 6 months. |

After 3 months of waiting I finally got approval for my classes to be tax exempt!! They have been taxing them like additional compensation, but since it relates to my job, it won't be any more! So now I do need to finish it...I was going to maybe drop if I had to pay taxes, but I don't have too many excuses since I only have to pay for books.

lfig I’m glad they caught it so soon. My dad has horrible scars from all of the skin cancer they’ve had to remove. Like huge divots. So gross. My FIL had melanoma on his head and he says he got a free facelift because instead of removing skin from his thigh like they were supposed to, they just pulled everything back tight.

tallb great news! Any house updates? Well we had a busy week.. we went to one last night in top schools that we saw over the weekend. They had another offer on the table but the agent told ours basically that they didn't like it and price was flexible. We determined to be too small and the commute was brutal...mostly psychological bc we drove right past our current apartment and then sat in 25 min more traffic. So that was a pass. I'm kind of tapped out right now, but we did just realize we can afford a lot more in DC than in MD, granted those houses are as if not more competitive. I keep reminding myself that if we purged a lot of our crap, we fit just fine and our zoned for an amazing school, so it's okay to wait for the right house. |
