Wow cagoldi . This may be a UO, but I'm so burned out (pun intended) on the marijuana medical miracle cure. I'm not against legalization and decriminalization of it. I also am a you-do-you in terms of people using it to help with whatever ailments (or just recreationally), but so many people act like it's a magical cure for all ailments. Even conditions for which there have been quality studies that have disproved it has any benefit. It's like the new version of essential oils or crystals or something. I've seen people lately hawking the CBD oil, I guess it's a new MLM???? This is craziness to me. Is CBD oil the one that's supposed to fix your ailments without giving you the "high"? |

It took an hour for the movers to move all the old furniture out yesterday. It’s been 2.5 hour so far just getting the new furniture in the building unassembled. These guys have zero hustle and I need lunch.

tgrimes I’m so sorry! I don’t know if I have asked you or not but have they tested her saliva. I have a condition that my saliva is thicker which can cause more tooth and gum problems.

On FB someone is announcing their upcoming birthday and graciously offered gift ideas for herself to include a manicure, eyebrow waxing, and tongue piercing. Which did you buy for her? I was going to share a picture of some sort of tongue piercing fail but I was too grossed out by all of them I thought I'd spare you the image.  And yes, CBD oil is supposed to be miracle cure without the high and people are giving it to their children.  |

tgrimes I like the second boot. I dont like the thickness of the elastic on the first ones, it makes the boot look 'choppy' and not seamless IMO.

I am over people trying to sell things that are going to "cure" ailments, big or small. I know intelligent, well-educated women that swear up and down that Plexus and CBD oil will cure cancer. Don't even get me started on the oils people.
I have defriended or unfollowed so many people for this kind of thing.

tgrimes That's awful! Clearly the crown wasn't completed properly if it was able to get infected. Raise hell lady, this is not something that you should be paying for. I agree with this. How long has it been in her mouth? |

But it's super stressful because there's lots that can't get can't done while we are trying to get back up and running (and obviously we are not going to pay the bitcoin to get it back) I think this was an actual episode of Grey’s Anatomy. |

I'm sitting at work and our software that basically manages our business got hacked and they are holding it ransom. I feel like I'm on an episode of Law and Order... But it's super stressful because there's lots that can't get can't done while we are trying to get back up and running (and obviously we are not going to pay the bitcoin to get it back) I think this was an actual episode of Grey’s Anatomy. I've literally been saying this all day. Too bad Jackson's not here to make it all better |

My mom is now into this and I'm side eyeing the hell out of it. She spams us videos about how it's a miracle drug...and she's into essential oils as well. I can barely handle it between her and my sis is now into selling makeup and lots of FB posts in her group about that. |

I haven't caught up yet but a pretty disappointing update: DH insisted on going over to put sunblock on Colin (I assumed they wouldn't let them play in the unshaded areas on a 90+ degree day) and got sunblock in his eyes. The nurse tried cleaning it out to no avail and he just cried and cried. Then passed out on her cot. DH picked him up about half hour ago. I feel so awful, he was so excited!
I'll still make sure to get onto Tapa to post his getting on the bus pic - he was all smiles then.

I don't have many contracts right now so I'm killing time by fighting the lactivist trash in my vegan parenting group. The child abusers won't use formula because it's poison but they're telling moms it's perfectly safe to smoke weed while pregnant and breastfeeding to help with anxiety/mellow out the baby/make the baby sleep. Yikes. I just read something recently that said marijuana can be found in a baby's bloodstream 6 days after the mother ingests it. I can't remember if that was while pregnant or just nursing, or both. But darn, either way. People are dumb. That's exactly the study we were arguing about. And they kept saying "breastmilk contains endocannabinoids." I kept pointing out that's not the same as THC. But chemistry, what's that? |

I have taken it for anxiety and insomnia and found it helpful, personally. But a lot of the Earth Mother NP cult ascribes magical powers to it, just like they do breastmilk. Like everything else, it's very much YMMV. |
