I'm sitting at work and our software that basically manages our business got hacked and they are holding it ransom. I feel like I'm on an episode of Law and Order... But it's super stressful because there's lots that can't get can't done while we are trying to get back up and running (and obviously we are not going to pay the bitcoin to get it back)

OMFG y'all. MH took M to the dentist. I saw a black spot on her back molar and a spot in between that back molar and next tooth looked funny. I told him to have it checked. Well, not only does she need a crown on that tooth, but the crown we did a couple months ago is infected and the tooth needs to be pulled. They'll have to put a spacer in. I'm so fucking pissed right now. He's going to mail us a copy of the images and a treatment plan. Once I get it I'm going to see if my dentist would do it since it would be cheaper. But I know he doesn't like to work on kids. FML. Ugh I am so sorry!!! That sucks! |

Morning all. Working on a couple projects today, and trying to wrap my head around that it's almost September. Honestly, where does the time go? That's where I'm at. I saw Count Chocula cereal in the store last night (the official signal that fall is here) and I was super confused. I was wondering if they were clearencing out old boxes from last year and grossed out. It took a while for my brain to compute it's closer to next fall than last fall. Whoops. Summer was a crazy haze for us with the entire focus being on the move. |

I'd be pissed tgrimes. Poor M.  jewels whatever happened to your freaky bee neighbor? Did they finally accept responsibility and pay to get rid of it themselves? I'll refrain from posting Candyman pictures but the image is in my head. |

tgrimes , has she complained about mouth pain at all? I would assume an infected crown would be pretty painful He asked if she had been complaining about it since her gums were so puffy. After the initial work was done she didn't want us to brush back there because it hurt. He told me it would be tender for awhile. Maybe I should have taken her back right away... He told MH that it's best to get it taken care of now than to wait until she's waking us up in the middle of the night in pain. |

The fact that the crown is infected makes me kind of squirrelly, but I have no experience with crowns so maybe that's somewhat common. Is there anything the dentist suggests y'all can do differently on her teeth? Do y'all have fluorinated water? Could they do some other sort of treatment? Or is this just bad teeth/bad luck? They're supposed to mail us the xray images so I'm planning on asking my dentist's advice, too. We have fluorinated water and I put fluoride on her teeth every night. He gave us a prescription for that at our last visit. He said it was just the way her teeth formed. She has a couple that are oddly shaped, which is why he said it's the way they developed. |

I posted and ran earlier out of excitement. S did so good at drop off, went right to the teacher and didn’t cry. I’m sure she probably did after she realized I was gone, but I didn’t see/hear it. I’m relaxing and enjoying the quiet for the next 45 mins until pick up. joelies I hope C has a great first day of school! tgrimes noooo! I’m sorry M’s teeth are causing trouble again. tgrimes That's awful! Clearly the crown wasn't completed properly if it was able to get infected. Raise hell lady, this is not something that you should be paying for. Exactly what I was going to say! |

I don't have many contracts right now so I'm killing time by fighting the lactivist trash in my vegan parenting group.
The child abusers won't use formula because it's poison but they're telling moms it's perfectly safe to smoke weed while pregnant and breastfeeding to help with anxiety/mellow out the baby/make the baby sleep.

Yikes. I just read something recently that said marijuana can be found in a baby's bloodstream 6 days after the mother ingests it. I can't remember if that was while pregnant or just nursing, or both. But darn, either way. People are dumb. |

Wow cagoldi. This may be a UO, but I'm so burned out (pun intended) on the marijuana medical miracle cure. I'm not against legalization and decriminalization of it. I also am a you-do-you in terms of people using it to help with whatever ailments (or just recreationally), but so many people act like it's a magical cure for all ailments. Even conditions for which there have been quality studies that have disproved it has any benefit. It's like the new version of essential oils or crystals or something. |

He said something to MH that they have prefabricated ones but sometimes they can turn and then he'd have to make one himself. I really wish I had taken her myself so I could ask more questions, but I've missed so much work already. |
