Weekend wake up

We made it! B was beyond exhausted. Just got him down for a nap (I think... we’re on adjoining rooms and he’s quiet but I don’t want to check) and MH and S went to find us lunch. Unfortunately when we got here only 1 room was ready so we dropped all the stuff in and put B down. Now I’m in the other room but literally just gave myself and my phone. I’d kill for some water, chap stick, our luggage to put stuff away, anything!

But we’ve got family dinner in a few hours, and looking forward to my first meet up tomorrow w dapostrophe!

Checking in. Another morning spent at the beach - the boys have been having such a blast! The water was a bit rougher today but Colin was all about splashing around.

It's been a bit overcast so we're watching the weather. We've been doing a few rides after dinner each night and planned to keep it up, but the boys aren't going to sit on anything wet, so... We'll see. Everyone is having a good time and the boys are room sharing nicely, so I have no real complaints.

The new location for Cadence's swim class is not conducive to multiple children taking lessons. We are only allowed in 1 lane and both coaches were on the same end because they were too short to be on the deeper end of the pool. Cadence had to go to the bathroom halfway through the lesson and thought she needed to poop so I had to pull her wet suit down and then try to get it back up. They need Velcro crotch swimsuits, I swear.
We also got our time slot moved from 10:30 to 1 all for some new girl who still showed up 10 minutes late.

All in all, not a good lesson.

I just looked it up because I was curious what the difference was and Sephora says it’s the same better than sex mascara but with special packaging for TF’s birthday.

You can. It won’t hurt. But they use them as feelers in the dark so I would only do it if necessary.

That whole side is tangled and has fuzz stuck in it too. I doubt I can get it un tangled. I'll wait a day or 2 and see if it untangles.

We are probably the most annoying furniture shoppers because I have to look at everything and we take forever to decide.

So it turns out Alpha wad a foreign language film. Whoops. So I had to narrate off and on. Thankfully there wasn't a lot of dialogue.

The boys are watching their show and then going to bed and I hit us french bread, Brie, prosciutto, smoked salmon, apples, and strawberries to put together a snack plate for dinner. I also have TJ’s Mac and cheese balls that I picked up to try, but that may be too much food. Does anyone remember TJ’s zapolli (or something) balls? I’m so sad they got rid of those.

Crazy Rich Asians was good--very entertaining. I did prefer the book, but isn't that always the way? Just a lot more detail and more to the characters and backgrounds. Once I finish the books piled up on my nightstand I'm going to get the sequels.

My mom is flying out tomorrow morning early We were all a little teary-eyed when she said bye to the children tonight--it's been a good 3 weeks!
