Weeks pregnant: 8w4d / March 21
Baby is the size of a: Small Lego
FTM/STM/TTM/etc: STM
Team: Finding out!
Appointments: Next Wednesday is my first OB. I'm excited to see her.
Symptoms: Nausea all the time. Sickness has been better with the unisom/b6 but it's still there. The exhaustion is unreal still. I'm hungry all the time but I'm full all the time. Boobs still very sore.
Milestones: We told my parents and sister this weekend. Need to find a time to visit His again now to tell them...
Rants/Raves/Vents: H went back to work Thursday and the days have been long. He has freshman orientation tonight so he won't be home until after E's bedtime and I'm not sure how I'm going to survive all day! Send help!

Team: Too impatient not to find out!
Appointments: I just scheduled my first appointment for September 4th. It feels so far away!
Symptoms: I'm tired, and I'm out of breath really quickly. I had to take a break while doing laundry yesterday!
Milestones: N/A
Rants/Raves/Vents: So far so good!

Weeks pregnant: 7 weeks 5 days
Baby is the size of a: Blueberry
FTM/STM/TTM/etc: STM, we have a 5.5 yr old DD (who starts Kindergarten in 2 weeks, I feel like sobbing all the time)
Team: Finding out
Appointments: Finally have an appointment to see the nurse on Friday, I'm making H come with me because I feel like I will be very irritated because they have been screwing around with my appointments. Then after that I will be scheduled to FINALLY see my doctor.
Symptoms: Super tired, food aversions to almost everything. I have to force myself to eat because nothing sounds good. Boobs are sore, but I feel like I'm almost getting used to that. Oh! I just had my first case of bleeding gums as well.
Milestones: none
Rants/Raves/Vents: I'm an emotional basket case, work has been sucking my soul out and I've been talking with H about possibly staying home 6+ months with the baby instead of going back to work right away. We still have to work out the finances but it's looking promising (fingers crossed). DD starts full day kinder in a couple of weeks and I'm fully freaking out about it. I'm so worried she will struggle with the social aspect of it, she's pretty shy and I'm worried she will struggle to make connections. She's been going to the same preschool for almost 2 years and none of her classmates are going to the same school. I'm sure its just hormones and she will be fine, but I can't convince myself. Can anyone give me some reassurances?? lol

@ges072115 I have been getting out of breath so easily too! It already feels like too much is crammed in there, I feel so pitiful I can't even walk upstairs without feeling it. remi that would be so exciting if you could stay home for an extended time! That's awesome that your job would allow that, too. As for DD, I have no experience but kids adapt so easily, I'm sure there will be other shy kids there too she will connect with, or she'll surprise you and be a little social butterfly! As someone who was VERY shy as a kid, I can say that there are always kids around that will either take you in or be shy with you

Appointments: Next Tuesday with the NP. Then after that I'll see the doctor. She was super booked I guess.
Symptoms: Everything mentioned already. It's definitely been different than my last. I have already been slacking in the gym, so I'm hoping to get back on track because I have started feeling a bit better the last few days.
Milestones: I got a lot of rest this weekend since H worked, I think I really needed that.
Rants/Raves/Vents: I'm just ready for my appt!

Weeks pregnant: 7+1 with EDD 3/31/19
Baby is the size of a: Blueberry
FTM/STM/TTM/etc: FTM, but this is my third pregnancy
Team: I still haven’t talked to H about this because it still feels too early. I’m sure we’ll find out though.
Appointments: Tomorrow with the NP!
Symptoms: Some nausea, fatigue, gag when I brush my teeth most of the time, don’t want anything sweet, nipple soreness that waxed and wanes, a bit emotional at times, and I think my boobs are a little bit bigger
Milestones: This is the most pregnant I have ever been, and it feels awesome! I can’t help but worry that something will still go wrong. I think I will feel much better after my scan on Friday.
Rants/Raves/Vents: I have another scan on Friday. I’ll be 7+5 then. When all goes well, then we will tell our parents. I had “if” instead of when, but I have to be positive and believe that this pregnancy will go well. Stupid PGAL brain!

Rants/Raves/Vents: now that it’s close to time to tell the world I’m getting nervous whereas until now I’ve just wanted to blurt it out

remi I taught K for 6 years. She will be fine. Lots of kids start school without knowing anyone and even the shy ones do just fine. In my experience the parents have a harder time then the kids. I know the struggle I had a hard time dropping my crying kid off at preschool last year but I know she was fine and she adjusted.

And I know for sure I’m going to struggle with it because I’m so emotional.

I know I cry at the drop of a hat these days so I completely understand the emotional part. Kids are pretty resilient. And if I'm being completely honest the worst day was not the first but the second. That's when they realize "oh I have to do this every day"

This conversation reminds me of my little sister, who told my mom, "Boy am I glad I don't have to do that again!" after pickup the first day of preschool. My mom was like, "ummmm we need to talk." Lol. She turned out pretty well-adjusted though! 😂

First tri you damn rollercoaster. That's the worst. I usually feel best right after I wake up but have learned to wait and see how the day is actually going to go before making plans. Found that out the hard way too many times!

The best 5-10 mins of the day are when I first wake up before getting out of bed that's when my stomach feels normal. Once my feet hit the floor it's all downhill from there.

Weeks pregnant: 7+2 with twins
Baby is the size of a: blueberry
FTM/STM/TTM/etc: STM
Team: Finding out
Appointments: 8/30!
Symptoms: exhausted 24/7, nausea 24/7, today started the headaches. hopefully they go away and don't stay present like they did last pregnancy.
Milestones: came out on FB/entire work knows now
Rants/Raves/Vents: Not sure how long to try to keep it from my students. I'm definitely got a nice blump. And half of my students are repeats from last year, so they will probably have no qualms outright asking me.

Weeks pregnant: 4+5
Baby is the size of a: poppy seed
FTM/STM/TTM/etc: stm, 3rd pregnancy
Team: finding out! Can’t wait!
Appointments: ultrasound 8/21
Symptoms: loss of appetite, insomnia, bloating
Milestones: 4th beta today
Rants/Raves/Vents: My doctor ordered an ultrasound for next week after 4 betas. I am so happy to get an early ultrasound, but now I’m worried that she is concerned about something and I’ve been spiraling. My DH says it’s just my history, but I can’t shake the worry. HCG has doubled fast so I have been googling molar pregnancy.

snickerdoodle I went through a bit of early beta hell this round and had some big talks with my doctor, he said with molars it’s not a fast doubling time that’s a red flag so much as absolutely insane, off the charts numbers. What are your numbers by DPO this time? My guess is your doc wants to rule out ectopic/multiples/just be cautious with you since you’ve had a loss. I know how hard it is feeling like you’re waiting for the other shoe to drop. I’ll cross my fingers and toes for you that your ultrasound shows a happy little sticky bean in a safe place in your uterus.

Tlex thanks for sharing your experience. I am bad about asking my nurse all the questions I have. I know I shouldn’t, but I already feel annoying just calling to get the results of my labs. My betas were 10dpo (evening) 35 13dpo 189 15dpo 555 17dpo 1890 So not crazy high but higher than most of the ranges I was finding online and close to 24 hour doubling time on some of them.

snickerdoodle lurking from Jan/Feb and hope you don't mind... Your numbers look just like mine were for the levels and doubling times. I ended up having a second but slower growing gestation that sadly we lost at 6 weeks. We thought they looked like possible twin range numbers at the time but what the stats did was that we just had a higher chance of twins than people with lower or slower numbers. Nothing we found said they were a risky range for molar or anything bad.

Weeks pregnant: 4 weeks 4 days
Baby is the size of a: poppyseed
FTM/STM/TTM/etc: TTM
Team: ?? Trying to stay team green this time
Appointments: not until September 13th
Symptoms: tired, slightly nauseated, very emotional
Milestones: I told my parents a couple days ago. I was going to wait, but I usually have wine with my mom when we visit, and she would’ve know right away. They are over the moon excited. I made them swear to keep it to themselves since it’s so incredibly early.
Rants/Raves/Vents: I hate the waiting game between now and my first ultrasound. It makes me feel like I’m in this weird limbo period. Hopefully I’ll feel better after my first ultrasound.

I had my first appointment yesterday, and it went really well! NP said my uterus feels 8 weeks, and I was 7+2 yesterday! So I’m hopeful that the baby is growing appropriately. I have no reason to think it isn’t though.
I have an US on Friday ordered by the RE. I imagine that after that, I will be released to the OB. NP said that I won’t get another US until around 20 weeks. She said even with my history, they consider me a normal, healthy pregnancy.
