I love doing pork loins in it. So quick, and it always comes out so nice and juicy. The kids always devour it.
I can't wait to start making more cold weather dishes in it like stews and soups.

McBenny you were thinking about getting one, right? There was a thread on GD I was gonna dig up but couldn't find while on tapatalk. I quit posting when morning sickness made all food sound gross.

I will search it out. I have been wanting one but I don't want to spend the money if it's not something I am sure I would use with regularity.

What does regularly mean to you? Several times a week? a month?
What is on your meal plan for this week and next week? I'm guessing you have a couple things that could be done faster by throwing in the IP.

I’m still using mine. I was literally just trying to figure out how to make my frozen meatloaf in it, but I think it is too big. And we are down to 1 frozen pizza.

McBenny I used mine once. But I am planning to again tonight. I feel like it will be a lot more useful in the winter months. I honestly found it to be a little complicated to use at first but am feeling pretty confident about the second time around. I may try to do chicken soup tonight since my H is coming down with a cold. ETA I ended up with the 8 quart because of the prime day deal and I honestly wish I had the 6 so I would go with the 6. The 8 quart is HUGE and right now living in my basement because I can't even fit it in the cupboard I was hoping to store it in. I am sure I can find somewhere else if I end up using it more, but it's a beast.

So tonight I did a sausage and pasta meal that was so yummy! 😊 my favorite thing was that it always seems like sausage takes so long to cook in the skillet and I always end up scorching it, so this was a better way for me to cook sausage. -I sauteed bell pepper, onion and garlic in butter/oil in the IP -remove from IP -Sauté sausage in a bit more butter in the IP. I cut it into 3"links to make it handier. -meanwhile cook pasta. I did fettuccine - add a cup of water and pressure 15 min. -remove and slice -add bouillon and a little more water and a cup or so of cream -you just want enough liquid to make a nice sauce for the amount of sausage, peppers and pasta that you have -I had a little leftover parmesan so I added it with the cream -dump in some parsley(optional) and add the sausage and peppers etc back in. -taste and adjust salt seasonings to taste -directions said to add pasta and cook till sauce thickened. I did enough for leftovers and I didn't want all my pasta soaked up so I just cooked the sauce and then mixed at the table. -serve with halved cherry tomatoes as garnish. I would skip this since DH dislikes but I had orange ones and they looked nice with the red bell peppers. Here's a link but I only half followed since I was using the IP. letthebakingbeginblog.com/2014/10/sausage-pepper-fettuccini-skillet/
