@amc, yay! I've been unable to stomach hot coffee, but iced coffee has been hitting the spot.

I miss coffee. It doesn't even sound appealing right now and normally I love it. The only thing even close I can do right now is mocha light frap from Starbucks and only occasionally.

TashaLa she is darling! A perfect announcement. @amc I am glad your results are back and you're holding the ICP at bay. It sounds awful.

TashaLa, What an adorable announcement!! tngrl3, I'm right there with you about the coffee. Plus, anything even remotely dairy related is so hit and miss for me as far as how my stomach is going to handle it. H goes into work late on Tuesdays so I'm making him pick up some preggie pops to bring me at work along with cough drops. I'm so over this. All of this. So dumb.

TashaLa So cute!! thelittleredm I hear you re: dairy. I ended up taking lactaid the other day so I could eat actual ice cream with DS. I’m hoping this lactose intolerance is short-lived - I get a lot of my protein from dairy. I was so motivated this morning...now all I want to do is take a nap at my desk. At least I made a dent in my to-do list while I had energy.

Today has been horrid. Had some terrible insomnia last night which is pretty new to me. I must have laid in bed unable to fall asleep for at least 2 hours last night and then didn’t sleep well at all the rest of the night. Went to bed with a headache and woke up with a headache. I caved and took a Tylenol earlier today but that hasn’t helped a bit. Also threw up this morning for the first time in a week. And today is 6 years since my dad passed, which is always tough. I hate to be a complainer, but I am so over today and can’t wait to crawl in bed tonight.

cch it went really well, thanks for asking! they did x rays and blood work. No fractures, no internal injuries, just muscle tissue pain. They said it was the best case scenario for being hit with a car. she got a steroid shot and stronger pain meds and is already walking way better. it wasn’t cheap, but I am so relieved. Hopefully she will continue to heal well. She’s 8 and big (85 pounds), and has the beginning of arthritis, but she was really active before the accident and everyone is always surprised when they hear she’s 8. Now, DH is tasked with getting this damn fence built ASAP. We moved to this house in February, and I wanted to pay someone to put a fence in. MH built our fence and deck at our old house last year, and it was gorgeous, but we ain’t got time for that 🙄, nor do I look forward to the solo parenting I get to do for many weekends again I’m sure. Sigh. TLDR; the appt went great! she is expected to make a full recovery.

cch sorry for the rough night. I had some terrible headaches around 12-14 weeks, but they appear to have mostly gone away. excedrin aspirin free really helps, if you are okay with caffeine. the insomnia is just frustrating, I can’t say that has gone away 😬.

thelittleredm @amc strawberrykiki CharlieB Thanks ladies. It’s so nice to have you ladies to vent to when times are tough. k I’m so glad to hear she’s doing well. I’m sure it cost a pretty penny but at least she’s on the mend! Thanks for the Excedrin tip. Excedrin usually did the trick for me with tough headaches and migraines so I’ll have to find the aspirin free stuff for when Tylenol doesn’t work.

If anyone is awake right now it's 10:49 PM PST and motherhood maternity is having an additional 50% off sale prices sale until midnight. For the next hour basically. I got a floral work shirt for $3.50!

Foxy, that's a great price! If everything goes well tomorrow, I may see if there are any sales. I could use some maternity tshirts and a bathing suit.

Speaking of which, does anyone have a recommendation for a maternity bathing suit? I take DD to swim lessons once a week and I wear an athletic type suit for those. It's getting to be too small, but my bump is nowhere near big enough for most maternity suits. I need something that will grow with me, and also something that can't be easily pulled off by DD when she clings to me in the pool.

I had my genetic testing appointment this morning. We had an ultrasound to check the baby’s neck and everything looks great! Little heartbeat of 156! We also did the blood work testing and we will get the results in about a week and can also find out the sex then if we want! I cannot believe he or she looks like a real baby now not the blob we saw a month ago! I cried when she started the ultrasound. I had no reason to worry but it had been a month since I went to the doctor and I kept thinking what if something happened and I don’t know it. I’m not sure how to do the spoiler link thingy but here is baby 😊
