Speaking of which, does anyone have a recommendation for a maternity bathing suit? I take DD to swim lessons once a week and I wear an athletic type suit for those. It's getting to be too small, but my bump is nowhere near big enough for most maternity suits. I need something that will grow with me, and also something that can't be easily pulled off by DD when she clings to me in the pool. I got a tankini top from target that works well. They have some in d/dd sizes which works well for me. I can wear it with regular bottoms. I also purchased a non-maternity top from Lands End. It is a "bloussan" top and had plenty of room, also available in bra sizes, and had regular straps and a lot of coverage.

I have black bikini bottoms I could wear. I might order it in a couple of sizes and try it on. Thanks.

I have a tankini suit from motherhood maternity that I’ve worn for now 3 pregnancies to swim laps in.

I ordered a few sizes and well and found that this one runs bigger than I thought. I have another suit from LE that I needed a bigger size in.

I did a Nike training app strength workout this morning and my whole body hurts. I’m pretty sure I won’t be able to move tomorrow 😬.

I'm skipping work today. Feel like crap with the coughing and nausea and haven't kept solids or liquids down in 24 hours. Urgent care is gonna be seeing my wallet today, I think. Or maybe I'll call my midwife's office and ask the nurse if they want me to go elsewhere instead.

I registered at Target. We don't really need stuff besides basics so I just put up an assortment of diaper sizes and we need new bottles.... how do bottles get lost so easily???
I also threw on a diaper genie. Because why not lol People got mad at us with DS2 because our "registry was boring." Like, we didn't need anything lol We bought a new crib and a Mamaroo. I imagine people will complain again.

Ultrasound and appointment went well! Baby looked much more chill than my super-energetic DD. I’m only measuring 3 days behind LMP, so my official due date will be 2/19.
I got genetic testing done and once we’ll get the results from that, I’ll be able to relax a little, I think.

I’ll register at Target and Buy Buy Baby for goodie bags and coupons. I won’t have a shower unless we’re having a girl and someone offers to throw us a sprinkle. We still have pretty much everything, but there are some things that I either donated or would like to upgrade - a swing, an Ubbi, bassinet, and a diaper bag are on my list so far.

I made an Amazon registry mostly to keep track of my research into things I wanted with great reviews, and for the perks. So far the only things I've decided to get that aren't on the registry are a chair from bonton that we bought already, diaper bag that we got from the manufacturer because they had more colors in stock, the crib we'll probably get from Wayfair and bottles from Target because prices are better. We are big Amazon shoppers and I like the great return policies and the extra 5% back on the cc.
No idea if we're getting a shower, I hope so since I've thrown 2 bridal showers and 4 or 5 baby showers for others in my life! But recently quit job and switched churches so not sure if there's anyone who will want to. So trying to let that part go, but I kind of feel like that's one of those young mom things that I might miss out on since it took ten years of trying to get here. It feels like it's not exciting or a big deal to extended family... But I might be wrong?

STM over here so I probably won't buy a lot. I do want a double stroller and a backpack-style diaper bag. I'll probably get a few small things like another white-noise machine, but otherwise I'm excited to reuse all the stuff we bought for DD. We both think this one is a boy, but a large part of me hopes for a girl just to be able to reuse the clothes and other gendered stuff.

FTM and we have nothing! I was thinking of registering at Target. I don’t even know where to start with what we need honestly. I was way too nervous to buy anything before now but everything looks good so far. Once we get our test results from the genetic testing I think I’ll believe this is real.

TTM with a DD and a DS so I don't need much. We have to buy a new infant car seat because the one we used for the first 2 is expired. I'm also going to splurge on a nice recliner/rocker. I had a cheap one that is shot and I want something more comfortable this time. Will probably do a small registry just for the discount. Bottles, paci, diapers, wipes, pretty much just the basics. Oh and this baby will get a new wrap to be worn in because I need an excuse to buy another one!

k This is his third go around, tell him he should know better by now. I have to vent - I had my genetic testing Tues and had a message that my test results were online this morning. It seemed soon but I logged in and it just said the image was unavailable for viewing, contact your provider for more information about the result. Queue me freaking the f out, because the geneticist told me if all was ok she'd just message it in my chart online but if something was irregular she would call me. I finally called midday, turns out when she enters her notes for the initial intake into the system, it considers it a test result and triggers the auto response to me. The test is still processing. I am not the first person this has happened to, yeesh. I was sick to my stomach half the morning thinking something was very wrong with my baby. I'm still pissed.

hrh that’s awful! I would have had a heart attack. Hope you get them soon. I also just did the testing and it’s giving me the option to create an account to get results online. I’m not 100% sure how I feel about that.

We had our anatomy scan today! The tech said baby boy looks good, but I have to go back in a month for additional images. He is upside down, and she couldn't get a good image of the heart like that. I guess this also explains why the only kicks I have felt are in my pelvis - that's where his arms and legs are!

@amc you are awesomely patient! 😉 I am not a super high maintenance person but I am with this, I have to know ASAP for my sanity. notagoddess I waffled between online result and phone call; ultimately, because we are traveling next week and I could easily miss the call, I opted for online. This morning taught me though that I have to better prepare myself for when and where I open that test result, however!

Eek you all are making me want to know!
I’ve been way too productive today. Went to the grocery before 9. Did a full body dumbbell circuit. Went to Sherwin Williams. Went to the pool. Gave DS2 a bath. DTD. Made the marinade for chicken kabobs. Now if my house would clean itself I’d be 👌
Also...I want to get us matching Xmas jammies...but I’ll be super pregnant. size up pants and get a different shirt? 🤔

Impressive k! DD took an extra-long nap which allowed me to make hot pepper jelly, eat lunch and get some rest. Now I’m researching what to do with the jelly.

I got an email my expected portion of the genetic testing is 1,100. My Doctor told me it should be covered. The email also says I can bypass my insurance and just pay them 250 but once they send it to insurance I’ll have to pay whatever. I’m super confused. What the what!? Do they intend to stress pregnant women? The test is stressful enough and I wouldn’t have done it except my OB said it should be covered because they recommend it. I guess I’ll be making lots of calls on Monday to try to figure it out. End of rant. 😡

strawberrykiki that is ridiculous! Good luck. I'm fighting with insurance this weekend too. Spent yesterday in the ER with a red flow of bleeding after stopping endometrin at 10 weeks Thursday. Baby looks fine, but they instructed me to get back on progesterone. Tried to refill it because I've got one day left... And learned I've hit the dose limit they cover in a year and it will cost $500/month. Back to the RE to see if they can send a letter or something.
