I had another good food day yesterday and I got to the gym after work! I got up early today and did a workout video (Jessica Smith on You Tube). Today's plan: B: banana, baked oatmeal S: apple & cheese stick L: chicken, rice, veggies S: hard boiled egg, veggies D: Not sure yet (H is out of town for work so either tuna or a veggie burger and pasta for the girls)
What's everyone eating today?

copperboom , thanks for the tip about the weight projection on MFP! I never click the "complete my day" button but I will now, it showed a 10 lb projected loss, based on my last weigh in! How often does everyone log their weight on MPF or whatever app you're using? I weigh in daily (I know, it's not good) but log it only on Fridays. I am planning to do it on Monday mornings. I am not sure how good that is since it is after the weekend, but I started on a Monday so I figured I would keep it the same.
Maybe that will help me keep my weekends in check.

I had an egg and egg whites, scrambled, with toast for breakfast.
Just realized I forgot to pack my snack but it would have been an apple.
Subway for lunch (easyfor calories but high sodium).
Afternoon snack will be hummus and bell pepper strips.
Dinner is Mongolian beef with broccoli, carrots and green onions, and a half cup of rice.

Did well again last night. I think you guys are rubbing off on me!
What am I eating today... Nothing too exciting:
B: Coffee, banana, greek yogurt (whilst flying out the door) S: Cheese stick and pineapple chunks L: Leftover Mexican rice with a cut up tomato D: Homemade sausage-pepper-and-onion pizza with a garden salad
We're trying to clear out the fridge, so it's slim pickings.

I weigh in every day and I log it. I also have a spreadsheet with averages for the week and a bunch of other stuff.
I really like data so it works for me.

Another good day yesterday. I had calories leftover so I thought I'd have a vodka/soda and 1 serving of chips. Instead I made some wheat toast w/ almond butter & went to bed early. The plan for the day: B: baked oatmeal, coffee S: banana & hard boiled egg L: chicken, rice, veggies, watermelon S: yogurt, veggies D: Not sure yet, either salmon or veggie burger. I made salmon last night and it was great. H needs (wants) a little something more than just plain salmon so I topped it with a mixture of parmesan cheese, bread crumbs, olive oil and garlic. How do you make your baked oatmeal? I've never had it but it sounds good.

I got this recipe from MPF. I've made it with Greek Yogurt and with cottage cheese and I like it with cottage cheese better. I've also subbed honey for the maple syrup. And this time I did a mix of blueberries and strawberries.

I've lost a fair amount this week. I know a lot of that is bloat coming off from eating like crap for a few weeks.
Today has been pretty good so far. B: Way too damn much Greek yogurt with berries. Almonds on the side. S: 10 Peanut M&M's (oops) L: Chicken breast and spinach/strawberry salad.
No idea what's happening for dinner.

Back at the ww
B: coffee L: solid white albacore with light mayo, avocado and 10 reduced fat Ritz S: banana and some cantaloupe D: lightly dredged chicken tenders with mashed cauliflower
Ending my day with 1 point left. I'll probably have some more fruit later though. Bananas are a life saver for me because they are a bit more filling than most fruit and plus also 0 points 😆

The grocery store probably thinks I'm weird because of the amount of cantaloupe and bananas that I buy each week 😅

H and I went out to lunch. I tried to choose smart things, and I did, but I also treated myself to an appetizer. So in all, today is right at 1800 (before elliptical). I don't usually budget exercise calories in my plan, so it's a high day for me. But, I haven't treated myself in a while.

Weigh in day - I'm down 6 lbs!!! I know it's mostly water weight. It was the perfect storm last week for me to bloat: alcohol + terrible food choices + PMS = water weight! But it was the wake up call that I needed to get back on track, so there's that.
Today's plan: B: baked oatmeal S: banana, hard boiled egg L: chicken, rice, veggies S: veggies, cheese stick D: Not sure yet
I got up early today and did a 1 mile walk workout video. I'm so glad I did, it was only 20 minutes but really made me feel energized for the day!

I was feeling so sluggish yesterday that I didn't complete my workout. I did my plank and about 6 minutes on the elliptical and then I was done. So, yesterday was not great in terms of calories or exercise.
I planned on getting up early and using the elliptical this morning, but H had a rash that's spreading so he went to the walk in clinic. MIL arrives at noon. Is it rude to go work out when she's here? I usually do after the kids go to bed. What do you think?

She'll probably appreciate some quiet or some time alone with her son. Or maybe she'll want some time alone w/ the kids and can watch them while you workout?

@juliagulia, I saw a similar eating plan on WW connect. It's called ssprengle plan. I think it deals in body confusion so it never knows what you'll eat! I eat my weeklies day 1-5 and usually stick to just dailies on days 6-7. I never use activity points just because they are calculated differently than before and I don't trust they are equal to a daily point. I'm afraid I guess. brux, what is noom? Ali7P, I weigh myself once a day but only use the WW weigh in on Fridays as official. They usually are lighter than my home scale. 6lbs can't all be water weight! Awesome job! copperboom, so late but did you workout while MIL was there? For me, I think it depends on the relationship (mine eats crackers so I'd use any excuse to not be in her company) and if others are there to play host.

Cheshie6 Noom is an app-based weightloss program that a bunch of us joined this week. There's a thread "Noom and Noomers" for us to try and follow along.

@chelshie6, she's here now until Monday. I'm going to stick to my routine. H said he doesn't think she'd mind. I could use a break and I don't want to fall off the wagon, so I'm going to stick to it.

I ran the numbers the other day, and I have lost 32% of my starting weight (can't remember if I already posted this, sorry if I did). That was seriously cool to see. That's awesome!

We had my favorite Monday cleansing meal tonight. I buy Salmon at the Farmers Market on Sunday and then Monday nights I broil it with salt, pepper and lemon juice. Then I serve it with a veggie or two on the side. Tonight we had green beans from the farmers market and a salad. 6 points total - 5 for 5 oz of salmon (which is a pretty big piece) and 1 for salad dressing. Easy to cook and easy on points to start my week. That sounds like a great Monday tradition! And delicious meal too

I don't know how the last week got away from me and I didn't get over here! It seriously geeks like just a few days. I've been able to stay pretty on track. And I had a little weight loss last week but I'm still not below my pre-vacation loss. I'm wondering if some of it is the heat.

One lady in my WW meeting said she always gains during humid days. Last week she was up a pound. This week little humidity and she had a 3lb loss. It could be a lot of things but just keep working your plan.

I lost almost 2 pounds this week (1.8). I am 3.2 pounds from my next goal which I wanted to hit by 8/10 (teachers back to work) but if I make it by 8/22 (first day of school) I'll be happy.
I will be high today because I'm going out for my birthday. I'm going to not worry about calories too much, but it helps to have seen a loss this morning!
