Is this where a Weight Watchers thread should go?

Yes! I'm so glad you started a thread. I'm here and on my 4th week. Scales still looking good with a downward trend and I have another weigh in Thursday.

Hi, I'm here. I'm down 1.4 this week.
I'm trying to get about 10 lbs off I the next 6 weeks before our girls trip. I'm hoping the momentum i have going now continues.

Yes!
Will you just update the title to include other food/calorie tracking programs? A lot of our participants are doing other tracking programs.
Thanks!

Hiya! I posted on the other board.
I'm on my last 44 lbs as of this morning. I use mfp and I weigh in every Friday.
I'm at my dad's house today and I'm struggling not to eat all the snacks. He keeps so many treats in the house.

peacock it sounds like you've come a long way! Congrats on your progress. Remember that even if the wheels fall off sometimes, the road goes on. Or some shit like that. One bad day doesn't define you.

I'm up today and it's been hard on me mentally. But I've made good choices all day so hopefully by Monday things will be continuing in the right direction. I know it's probably just bloat. I bought a couple pairs of shorts yesterday and squeezed myself into a smaller size. I made myself buy them and I hope by summers end they're hanging off me!

I'm having a shit time following through on anything. Starting the days well, but temptation and weakness in the afternoon/evening and I fuck it all up.
Blah.

I hate how much of a mindfuck weight can be. It's hard to not focus on one day even when we know that it's not the sole indicator of what is going on. Motivational shorts aren't a bad thing!

Nights were my biggest hurdle for a long time. Maybe aim for one good evening/whole day this week and next week, then aim for two the week after that. Small sustainable steps are good.

Today was not good. I'm going to try not to use that as an excuse to eat all of the things after bedtime. This weekend we are traveling with mil. Wish me luck.

I need to work on my emotional eating because that's what it boils down to for me. By the late afternoon/evening I'm done and reach for the crap.

Yes to emotional eating at night. Like this board situation alone has me wanting to eat my weight in cookies. Add to that my whole family is so sick and needy and I'm catching up on chores (I love to reward myself with food, historically).

One bad day doesn't define you. Thank you, I really needed to hear that this week. Two years ago when I started I was 315lbs. I got done to 190 lbs, got a surprise BFP and now I'm at 214 lbs. It's been a wild ride.

I find it especially hard when I have a little baby at home because they are such a double whammy of emotionally and physically exhausting. I end up rewarding myself with food a lot because it's like a guaranteed pleasure vs the rest of the day/night being such a crapshoot. Or something. Stick with us! I'm glad you're here.

Tits for solidarity re: nighttime snacking and emotional eating. I've been using my water bottle to avoid the chocolate this evening and it's worked so far.

This is so true. There were so many night wherein would get both kids to bed and just over snack. My DH works dinner at a restaurant so the stress of bedtime was getting me. DD is better now though at 3 months.

I had another good day yesterday. I need there to be a weekend where I don't completely go overboard. This is probably not going to be that weekend. I'm not sure what to have for dinner. It's just me and the girls, H is traveling for work. I'm resisting the urge to order pizza. I have leftover rotisserie chicken so I'll probably do something what that.
B: Smoothie & coffee S: strawberries L: turkey wrap, special K chips S: veggies & cottage cheese D: ?

I was starving all day yesterday and ate almost a whole cantaloupe to keep from eating chips. I barely made it.
Today was weigh in and I'm down 1.8 from last week for a total of 7.6 since I started May 4th. I feel like I can see a bit of a change around my love handles.

That really helps me to keep pushing. When I can't see the changes in the mirror I have something concret.

Oops, made a thread in Discussion but then realized there was a healthy living board. In the right place now. I was surprised no one had made one yet!
I've been at the same weight all week despite carefully staying within my points. I suspect it is a too much salt, not enough water situation, but it is sooo frustrating. I've diving into serious water drinking in hopes that it will help. My usual intake is just a large iced coffee in the morning, seltzer at lunch, seltzer when I get home, and seltzer or wine with dinner. I definitely need to step it up. I have a Nalgene so starting today the goal is two a day for 64 ounces. Except I looked up how much is recommended these days, and for my weight they said 100 oz! I know some of that will happen in coffee and food, but whew.
