NSV: my non-maternity jeans fit, and they aren't uncomfortable. We get lots of jeans days at my school and by the end of the school year I really dreaded them Bc I didn't have jeans that fit and I didn't want to buy some in a larger size.
I'm happy this morning and wearing jeans even though it's going to be a billion degrees today.

We had my favorite Monday cleansing meal tonight. I buy Salmon at the Farmers Market on Sunday and then Monday nights I broil it with salt, pepper and lemon juice. Then I serve it with a veggie or two on the side. Tonight we had green beans from the farmers market and a salad. 6 points total - 5 for 5 oz of salmon (which is a pretty big piece) and 1 for salad dressing. Easy to cook and easy on points to start my week. This sounds really good. I may have to make salmon tonight

That's awesome, copperboom! @juliagulia - I love a light meal like that, especially during the summer. I'm really hoping to make it to the gym tonight. My eating is going pretty well - I went over my points this weekend, but stayed on track yesterday and today is looking good. I love pre-tracking my points in the morning so I know exactly how my day looks. If I go all will-nilly that's when I forget my points and things get outta control.

OK, so I stayed on track yesterday. FIL has surgery so we went up to visit him in the evening, then took MIL to dinner. I tracked everything with MFP. I set my goal to 1 lb a week so it gives me about 1900 calories per day and then adjusts depending on how active I am. With activity my goal was 2092 and my calorie intake was 2102. Today's plan: B: baked oatmeal, coffee w/ cream & 1 tsp sugar S: peach, cheese stick L: chicken, rice & veggies, watermelon S: shrimp cocktail (leftover from Sunday) & veggies D: Either burgers or salmon (I think my mind may have been changed by Julia and it's a cooler day so broiling sounds better than grilling)
Also, I ran 2 miles this morning. Was supposed to be 3 but I as short on time. Better than nothing!

oldbaylover1024, I can't stop watching your siggy gif. The way the bride fixes her hair...it's tragic & so funny at the same time! I like pre-tracking too! And I like when I plan on a snack and then don't eat it, it's like being gifted points/calories! lol!

I'm posting too much today, I know. But just a thought/idea. Both yesterday and today I was so hungry around 11:00 and considered eating my lunch early. Both days I had a cup of peppermint tea instead and it really helped. I'm still totally ready for lunch now that it's noon, but it helped me get through it. I remember I used to do this all the time and I was a lot thinner then! lol!

I know we've talked about this before, but what do you guys do for weekly points?
Since about week 3 I have used mine as such:
Days 1-2 of week (wed-Thur for me), stay within daily point range and don't use weekly points
Days 3-5 of week (F-Su): eat daily points and use up weeklies spread over three days
Days 6-7 (mon-t): stay within daily point range and don't use weekly points
It's been working but my loss has slowed down. I have a formal event in 2.5 weeks so I'm thinking of not using my weekly points for the next two weeks to try to kick start another loss.
I don't currently use activity points officially but I cut myself some slack if I go over weekly points knowing that activity points offset it a bit.

@juliagulia - I pretty much do the same thing. I try to stay within my weekly daily allowance M-F, but I allow myself a little wiggle room on S and S. The weekends are tough since we're on the run and eating out or eating at someone else's house (cookouts and stuff). I try to ignore the activity points since I'm not working out regularly.

I might make a cup of hot tea in the afternoons after the kids leave to help with mindless snacking. That's usually when I'm starving and want to eat everything. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Another good day yesterday. I had calories leftover so I thought I'd have a vodka/soda and 1 serving of chips. Instead I made some wheat toast w/ almond butter & went to bed early. The plan for the day: B: baked oatmeal, coffee S: banana & hard boiled egg L: chicken, rice, veggies, watermelon S: yogurt, veggies D: Not sure yet, either salmon or veggie burger.
I made salmon last night and it was great. H needs (wants) a little something more than just plain salmon so I topped it with a mixture of parmesan cheese, bread crumbs, olive oil and garlic.

I'm down 1.2 lbs. over the past two weeks. Not as much as I'd like, but I'll take it! Did well again yesterday, and stayed within my daily points. My dinner plan got kind of messed up, but we adjusted and I STILL stayed within my points! Win! Ali7P - Hard boiled eggs are my favorite grab-and-go protein! Thanks for the reminder. And do you mind sharing your baked oatmeal recipe? I'm looking for something different for breakfast, but my baked oatmeal recipe is not WW friendly LOL

I've had a good couple of days eating wise. Need to work on exercise. I'm about to get my period so I'm so tired and keep snoozing my alarm.
I weighed in today and I hit 20 lbs lost total. 3 months. I feel really good about that and my next mini goal is 3 more lbs to the halfway point.

I went on a girls trip a few weeks ago and fell off the WW wagon. Today was my weigh in day and I've recommited. I was up a few lbs, but I'm not going to let that get me down.
I worked out yesterday and Monday and in feeling good. My first mini goal is to be in the next decade of numbers before football season in 5 weeks. It's only 6 lbs, but I need a goal.

@juliagulia , I was doing the same structure for my points, but kept going way overboard on the weekends because we had so much going on & I have no willpower (haha). For your formal event, you may want to follow a structured plan for the week before. I've had success with a clean eating "cleanse" that's 5 days. I just tried to find the website and some of the info/recipe details are missing - it looks like the blog is inactive. But I still have my food logs from what I ate during the "cleanse" (I put it in quotes because it's not a typical cleanse where you only drink smoothies or juice or other crazy stuff) so if you're interested let me know.
I saw your RTR thread in the gen board. Which dress did you decide on?

I'm leaning towards cancelling Noom. I haven't decided if I'll head back to WW immediately or try a month of tracking on MFP.

While I figure out if I want to keep Noom for the support and advice, I re-joined WW. They sent me an email with a 3 months for $34 deal, so it's not a huge financial investment if I end up keeping both.

I had a good day today and worked out again. I love MFP because it tells me at the end of the day what they estimate my weight to be in 5 weeks (assuming every day is the same!)
It's been showing me numbers below (gulp) 200 all week and that is really keeping me going right now as I start to bloat and get sluggish with my impending period. I haven't been below 200 in....a long time.
I know that's completely variable and I could hit a plateau or really crash and go up again, but guys...it's in sight.

Also before I get on my elliptical every night I'm doing a plank challenge that gradually increases length. It went from 30-45!seconds this week and that was horrible.

After you log your calories and exercise for the day and complete your entry, it gives you an estimated weight (assuming every day is like the one you entered) five weeks from that day. I kind of take it with a grain of salt usually. If I had a really good work out and decent calories it gets a little ambitious. But, it's nice to see actual keep it up and this could happen numbers. I've had a couple low calorie:great workout days and it gave me the estimate of 196-197--lol that's more than 10 pounds from where I am right now. But, given data from pretty typical days, it keeps showing me 199. That makes me happy. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

copperboom, thanks for the tip about the weight projection on MFP! I never click the "complete my day" button but I will now, it showed a 10 lb projected loss, based on my last weigh in! How often does everyone log their weight on MPF or whatever app you're using? I weigh in daily (I know, it's not good) but log it only on Fridays.

Ali7P, I usually log my weight once a week (Saturday). Occasionally I log it an extra time if I see a consistent drop for a few days. I mistakenly logged a number this last week that was artificially low. I'm getting that number consistently now But it was frustrating for a few days. That's what I get for getting on the scale too often. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
