flamingo Z likes lots of the stuff already mentioned but also loves play doh activity sets, like an ice cream cone one. She also was really into this Melissa and Doug ice cream scoop set that is now in my amazon cart for Christmas. Girl just loves ice cream! Lol Ha, can't blame her for that! yes, we have a couple play doh sets that she is starting to get interested in. I will check out the ice cream set! |

OMG y'all, if I go missing from the board, it's b/c I'm in jail for going after our property manager. Please make sure DH keeps the kids in smocked stuff. What's going on now. Do I need to yell at someone for you? |

Do I need to yell at someone for you? Geez, if I get into it, I might explode. I was sparring back and forth with her in the portal we have to use--b/c her phone number is the most closely guarded secret since the Manhattan Project--and finally DH waded in and was like, I'm calling bullshit. She completely misconstrued some stuff about the pool, and accused us of lying about a repair that we had an electrician out here for today and said we will be charged for it (her accusation was the biggest joke ever...like, why would we go thru the 2-week hassle of dealing with you people and TWO separate electricians to fix this if we could have fixed it ourselves??) DH printed all the records, which clearly show they are the liars/incompetent ones, and is calling the homeowner tonight. It's just absolute garbage. I just do not get how these people are still in business but I will make it *my* business to put them out of it when we move out. We might go to JAG if things get much worse. |

My grandma had a scan last week and we got the results today. Bad news. I know we're on borrowed time as it is- we were told she only had 6 months 3 years ago. But I'm still just so sad. She likely has about 6 months left.

Oh yeah...if you call their office, you have to leave a message in one of about 5 mailboxes. Literally no one will speak to you, everything goes thru the 'portal' online. Knowing it was futile, I called and asked the receptionist to speak with Barbara/have her call me. She responded in the portal. (She has called me twice, and both times her number shows up as "No Caller ID" (i've checked our phone bill and it comes up as all 9's). I truly think they screen all their calls b/c they have so many upset customers. |

They turned out water off at the office at 11. We had a leaky faucet and the plumber had to replace the whole thing. Well the pipes are the original ones from the 40s & LSS they’ll have to remove part of the wall to fix it.
The land lady is pissed and she’s coming in the morning to look at it and call out another plumber.
The problem is they couldn’t turn the water back on so it will continue to be off until it gets fixed. We have to drive to the courthouse to pee.
Not delightful at all.

I'm sorry, peachsmama. Even when you know what's coming, it's still very sad. Prayers that your grandmother will still be able to do some things she enjoys and make good memories with her family in the next few months. |

So next Wednesday is when Chase is the same age Colin was when Chase was born. I want to celebrate in some way but assumed DH would make fun of the idea. Instead he's on board and was brainstorming ideas with Colin at dinner. My family can be so cute sometimes.
Other times, not so much.
