Yeah there have been a few times we've watched more than one episode at a time and it puts me in a really weird mood so I try not to. But sometimes I just need to know what happens! We break it up with episodes of New Girl so that helps, lol.

I made it out of the house for groceries today! I think I need a sticker chart haha. We also have a play date at a park this afternoon, so I expect I’ll be going to bed with the kids at 6:30. 😴

I'm dying of exhaustion. I feel like I can't keep my eyes open.
TW
I had a vivid dream I had a miscarriage but the baby was big enough to look like a baby in the sac and everything and it was shocking when I woke up from it. Ugh.

My nurse never called back so I called again right before the office closed and the receptionist actually transferred me right back to her when I explained how I'd been waiting. So at least I got a few answers today. She said some of the results from my bloodwork were abnormal and flagged as a possible autoimmune disease, which is why she wants me to see the rheumatologist. She didn't give me any other specifics than that. From what she could tell, the extra supplements are more of a precaution but she's going to verify and call me first thing tomorrow (we'll see 🙄).
I got my bloodwork done this evening and hopefully will hear back tomorrow on that. As long as it's over 2000 they'll schedule an u/s, but if it's doubling correctly it should be over 6500 so... I'm nervous and trying to just not stress over that for now. I know the timing is "right" since it's been over a week, but going from 430 to 6500 sounds impossible and scary. I just have all the things crossed that the numbers are "right" so I can relax for a while. 2 weeks is a long time to make it past my 7.2 week milestone next.

I called a new ob office and the first available is August 9th. I'm on vacation that week, so my appt is for August 16th!
That seems so far away. But, my first appt with my DD was at 8 weeks.
I don't know if I should call my old office just for bloodwork and then switch, or just wait it out. None of the early monitoring/bloodwork affected the outcome of my previous losses. And with my DD, I didn't have any of it. I really don't want to go back to my old office because of some bad memories.
I guess I don't need to decide this instant.

Eames, it's all about what will ease your stress/anxiety. If going back to that office is just not great because of the memories that come with it, then I would just wait it out. You'll be far enough along to get an ultrasound by Aug 16, so hopefully they will be able to order that for you!

I would do the blood work if it will give you peace of mind Eames. However, if the stress of going back there outweighs the benefit of having your labs done, then I would wait until your appt in the 16th. Sorry your old office brings you stress and bad memories!

How did your beta turn out pambee? Well, if my nurse had called me back I would know 😂 it'll show up on my online portal at like 5am though so I'll be able to know first thing in the morning at least.

Anyone else have serious bloat going on? My pants were so tight at the end of the day yesterday. I unbuttoned as soon I was through the door.
This could be because I had 3 and 3/4 delicious mexican tacos for lunch (carnitas) and chips and guac. I got to see Rick Bayless there, he was behind the counter at his restaurant Xoco!
I was so full I wanted sherbet for dinner.
I need to stay on track with some healthy eating. The problem is that I have no energy or desire to cook... and things like salad with chicken make me feel sick. Maybe I'll start a recipe thread? Easy, healthy-ish things?

Thanks ladies, I'm trying to be very "Zen" about everything this time but it is frustrating. I'm just trying to remember that in a few weeks I should be out of the crazy zone and won't need to be calling her every day. I had a bit of a freak out before I could make myself log in and check this morning but my numbers were 8357! That's a 45 hour doubling time and I am very happy with that. My numbers being so "right" this time is really giving me a lot of hope, which gives me a lot of mixed feelings but I'm starting to feel like I'm allowed to be excited. Next step is scheduling an early u/s so you bet I'll be calling my nurse all day until she returns my call to set that up

Eames my bloat is no joke! I’m ready for it to just become a regular bump. Haha it sucks bc I was losing weight before I got pregnant and now I have zero desire to cook. MH works out of town tues-Thursday so I am just getting easy things for dinner. pambee yay for good numbers! I’m so frustrated for you though on the nurse.

pambee omg that beta!!!!! I’m excited for you! 🤗 Yes yes yes to the bloat and having a hard time staying within the healthy choice zone. I was loving WW while TTC and I’m hoping by 2nd tri I can go back on a modified version (to maintain/control the gain, not lose). For now we’re eating really simple stuff and I’m reminding myself that it’s always like this in first-tri-worst-tri.

I get bloated at the end of the day Eames! Great beta pambee! I hope your nurse schedules your US today!! I’m having more cramping today, which is making me nervous. They’re light cramps, but I still worry. I try to remind myself that cramping is normal in early pregnancy. I’m hoping this means that this baby is in my uterus! I’ve never had a pregnancy in my uterus before, so I have nothing to compare this too. I’m not bleeding at all though, which is good.

My nurse still hasn't called me back since Monday and it's really wearing on my mental state. I'm basically constantly convinced that her dropping the ball is going to mean something bad is going to happen even though I know that isn't rational. I don't know what to do about it. I call twice a day and leave messages. I'm not willing to change doctors because I love my DOCTOR and don't want to have to establish a report with a new one with everything that has happened, and risk getting a different nurse who sucks just as much. I feel like I'm scheduling my whole days around being able to answer the phone if or when she might call and it's frustrating. Last night H was trying to come up with reasons she might be sucking (maybe personal stuff, maybe they're swamped, etc) but I'm done giving her excuses. This is her job. If something is affecting her this much for over two weeks she needs to take some time off or get some help.
Sorry guys. I don't need hair pats, I just needed to vent.

I'm not sure, they haven't scheduled my first real appointment (they haven't until after my early scans after my losses). When my nurse calls back I'm going to ask if there's a better way to get a hold of her, and might end up asking my doctor or the front desk if there's another nurse on my doctor's service that I could use instead.
