I’m 6 +1 today, feeling a bit anxious as I had some brown spotting/cramping last night. I know all the reasons that’s ok but it’s still stressful, you know? Can’t really turn that off. I’m debating doing more betas for reassurance but my next scan is on Wednesday and I think I might be better off just waiting for that. I’m trying to just focus on the mindset that right now I’m pregnant and loving that. I have some strong cravings (salt, vinegar, occasionally ice cream) and my boobs hurt so I’m calling those good signs. I’m not nauseated or particularly food adverse which is unusual for me at this stage, but every pregnancy is different, right? Usually I’m so sick in first tri I lose 10-15 lbs. I’ll have to be careful since that’s not the case right now, I’m just hungry for anything not nailed down. I’m also breaking out everywhere, but my hair looks and feels great. I could spend the entire day in bed or on the couch if my kids allowed it. My fitbit is fascinating me, the other day while laying down for over 40 mins my heart rate was in the fat burn zone, and my RHR has climbed almost 20 above where I was pre-pregnancy. 🤓 After 14 months of diligent data collection TTC I am unable to turn that off entirely haha.

Tlex sorry about the spotting, I totally get it. But it can also be totally normal so hold on to that! Do you think if you called about the spotting you could get your scan moved up instead? Afm I woke up with something like the flu, so I'm super not excited about that. Chills, fever, I threw up. I took some Tylenol about 2 hours ago and my temp is a little lower but still at 101. I was going to wait until Monday to call my dr office but I might end up calling this afternoon if I can't get the fever down :/ But my lines are still getting darker each day, so I'm ecstatic about that!

pambee aw man, sorry you’re not well! Get some rest if you can, you must be totally zapped. Love the darker lines! Post pics if you feel like it. As much as I want an ultrasound RIGHT NOW I also feel like waiting till Wednesday is best for me at this time, I’ll be 7 weeks. Anything earlier I feel like I’ll run the risk of being too early for a HB and getting myself upset. :::knock on wood::: I’ve had no more spotting today so hopefully it was just a one-off.

Tlex I'm just glad H is a teacher and home for the summer, so he took care of E! These are my tests since Monday when I got the faiiiiintest of lines. I have FR's too but I've been taking them every other day (because, $$$) so I'll have a nice little comparison of those tomorrow

Oh and I don't blame you for wanting to wait until 7 weeks, I wasn't mathing right. I'm glad you haven't had any more, though!

I’m 4 weeks 5 days today. The only symptoms I have so far is exhaustion and I swear baby brain has kicked in. I’m also so bloated already that I look pregnant. Is that normal for the third? My H thought I was exaggerating until I put on a bathing suit. Haaaa.
I’m also in Vegas right now. This trip has been planned for months so I’m eating my way around rather than the drinking I had planned on. 🤦🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️

Tlex I hope the time goes by fast until your ultrasound. I agree on waiting until 7 weeks just to have a better chance to see everything.

pambee those look great! Gold star for YH ⭐️ Are you the sleepy kind of sick or just sick enough to lay flat and be miserable? haleyscott I love Vegas! There are worse places to eat all the things 😏 I don’t think I ever stopped looking 6 months pregnant after my 2nd but I bought a few maternity basics when Gap was having a huge sale last week and I’m so much comfier than I was before. I’m looking forward to the point where I’m in 2nd tri and can openly rub my belly rather than just feeling like a blimp.

Tlex normally I'm a get up and moving and fight through but I literally can't stay awake today. I've had 3 naps so far and I'm not sure I'm going to make it to bedtime tonight 😪 the fever came back when the Tylenol wore off and it is kicking my butt.

I have a dumb question, earlier my fever started to come back around 5 hours after taking the Tylenol (supposed to take every 6 hours). Do you think it would be better to take the Tylenol earlier than suggested to keep it down, or wait it out?
Of course I fell asleep and didn't wake up until after the office closed, but I'll be calling first thing in the morning.

Max dose in a 24 hour period is 3000 mg.

I'm feeling so much better today so far, thank goodness. And my lines look so good this morning, I finally feel confident calling my doctor. I know she'll have me go in for betas so I'm hoping if I go early enough I might get the results this afternoon instead of waiting until Monday. Pee sticks in case anyone is obsessed with looking at them like I am

haleyscott I am 4 weeks 6 days and baby brain has kicked in. I feel like it is so early! I was making grilled cheese for my girls and instead of cutting butter to add to the pan I cut cheese and just tossed it in without even a thought. Thankfully got it out before it burned! Hope you are having a great time in Vegas!

As I mentioned above I am 4 weeks 6 days. I am tired and having some nausea in the morning, which has kicked in earlier than my other pregnancies. We have friends coming to stay with us for 2 weeks tomorrow so I hope my nausea can be held off to be able to entertain our guests and have some fun.

pambee glad you’re feeling better today! Hope you get to enjoy the weekend. Wicket wow guests for two weeks would be exhausting on its own for me! I hope you feel good enough to enjoy the company. Maybe they’ll keep the kids busy? I’m so tired, just drag ass, zombie tired.

Wicket wow, 2 weeks! I'm worn out just thinking about that 😂 I hope you have a nice visit though! Tlex yes! I was so happy with my tests this morning. I called the office and had my first betas but won't be able to see the results for a few days due to the weekend - eek! Gotta keep myself busy. We do have a wedding tomorrow (outside - in July - ugh) and E is the flower girl so I'll be preoccupied with that at least. I am also just beat. I'm feeling about 50% better today, fever hasn't gone above 99.9 today, but I know it's part hormones too. I'm just trying to stay hydrated, I have NEVER had an issue drinking enough water but this flu/bug/evilness is sucking it all up!

pambee how are you doing? Any fever still? Thinking of you! Wicket that sounds pretty awesome. It must be so great to see your kids playing together! My friends are just starting to have babies now and it’s so cool to see their little people. I miss home terribly when I imagine our kids playing together! Your friend must be from far away if she’s making such a long visit?

I’m so much better today re: zombie energy, I even have laundry going. Usually I’m on autopilot for house chores so being off my game has made things pile up and felt overwhelming. H and I are going on a date this afternoon and I’m really looking forward to that. Also, I retched this morning (but didn’t throw up) so yay morning sickness?! Overall I’m still feeling like I have the Lite version of Pregnancy Symptoms but trying to practice gratitude rather than concern.

Tlex thank you! I am feeling a ton better, I had a killer headache this morning but it just finally let up. We're getting ready to go to the wedding and I'm so glad to be getting dressed and out of the house like a real person! Have fun on your date!!

Tlex yes they have come from BC. It has been amazing just seeing them connect again. I provided care of him for over a year while his mom was working so they are so close. My heart is very happy that they get this time together.

My first betas from Friday were 173 so that's good! I go back this afternoon for repeat so I have all my fingers crossed they double. I'm feeling so nervous about it and haven't really felt like I've accepted that I'm really pregnant and I'm trying to connect. Darkening lines was step one, good numbers will be step two, and making it past 7 weeks will be step three. I'm reminiscing about my pregnancy with E where I only took ONE positive home test and was blissfully ignorant of any bad things. It was so much easier then!

I feel - drumroll please - officially nauseated today! Like if I don’t snack something every couple hours I feel practically sea sick! I am so thankful because Wednesday’s ultrasound feels both forever away and too soon. Strong symptoms are appreciated right now. ☺️
