pambee, how frustrating. When will you see your doc next? Will you mention how much her nurse sucks? Hang in there. I'm not sure, they haven't scheduled my first real appointment (they haven't until after my early scans after my losses). When my nurse calls back I'm going to ask if there's a better way to get a hold of her, and might end up asking my doctor or the front desk if there's another nurse on my doctor's service that I could use instead. I think this is a good idea. It’s not right that she has left things like they are. I hate that what she’s doing is putting strain on you. I really hope she calls you today.

F19 lurker here. pambee Any chance your OB has an online patient portal? Sometimes I find I get I better response when I use the online system versus calling. If the nurse is on the computer already and the messages just pop up then it might be easier to respond rather than having to listen to a message line and call people back. I'm sorry she's dropped the ball and that it's causing you mental stress.

I just recently discovered the hospital has one, but in my research I haven't found anything for the office (or seen anything about one during any of my visits) but I know they're common, so I'm still going to ask. ❤

You guys are great, really. It helps to hear that I'm not just being crazy about it. I don't think it's acceptable for anyone, but after having 3 losses this year I just feel like she should be concerned with getting back to me in a reasonable amount of time. She does this every day, she has to know how neurotic we can be! Lol

I’m so mad at your nurse pambee! Her not calling you back is unacceptable! You’ve given her plenty of time and chances. I would definitely talk to your doc about it at your appt or even call and speak to the office manager soon. He/she should get things taken care of! AFM... I’m doing well! The cramps did go away. I talked to my RE’s nurse this morning, and I don’t have to have any more betas drawn because these 3 looked so good. Both times before we’ve known by the third beta that things weren’t right. On one hand, it makes me nervous not to have betas drawn because I don’t know what’s going on. However, I don’t love having my blood drawn, and I’m a hard stick, so I’m ok with it. My first US is scheduled for a week from tomorrow! I’ll be 5+5 then, and it is just to make sure everything is growing in the right place. My second US is scheduled for 8/17, and I’ll be 7+5 then to check for growth and heartbeat! Eeek!

orangehibiscus I'm glad they stopped! And I totally get it about stopping the betas, it feels weird to do "nothing" after that! And how exciting that both your u/s are scheduled!

I finally got in touch with the nurse who called me the first time to confirm my bloodwork and since the next available appointment for a new pregnancy is sept 4 she took my information and said she would talk to the doctor tomorrow about scheduling me in somewhere. I thought I was going to have to pull out my miscarriage card but I'm hoping something can be scheduled the week I get back from vacation.

She just said they'd been "so slammed" and she hadn't even had a second to ask the doctor the questions. 🙄 so basically she dropped the ball and wouldn't admit it.

I just need to whine, scroll on by!
Whine: I am so sick and tired of feeling sick and tired! I start out ok after I get some breakfast in me but by 10:30-11 am I start going downhill fast, and by the time my kids wake up from nap (any minute now) I am a hot mess and feel like staying as still as possible while eating crackers and taking small sips of water. Thankfully they’re excited for a “movie marathon” this afternoon. I remember feeling emotional about feeling so useless when I was pregnant with D2 and I’m not as bad this time because I saw how D1 was just fine despite lots of TV and low stimulation during that time, I know it doesn’t last forever, but I hate feeling so unlike myself. We are so behind on laundry and house chores, I haven’t cooked a proper meal in 3 weeks, and I’m grumpy more than I’d care to live with. Hopefully with DH off this weekend we can team up to get back on track with the chores and laundry and that will help my mental space. But this nausea, ugh.

Tlex You are growing a human be easy on yourself. Our nausea sounds similar. I'm ok in the morning but worse as the day goes on. If it makes you feel any better my DD has been on a Daniel tiger marathon this afternoon while I'm attempting to pack for our trip

Tlex I'm sorry it's been rough, but I agree with tapdancer to give yourself some slack! And I commiserate, it's our anniversary so H and I are supposed to be having a fun filled day but the exhaustion and constant background nausea is making me just wish I were napping 😴

I’m sorry you’re having such a tough time Tlex! I definitely agree with the others that you should cut yourself some slack! As PP said, you’re growing a human, and that takes a lot of work! I hope the nausea eases up and you feel better soon! ETF a word

As for me, slight bits of nausea here and there, but I didn't get it with DD either. Sore boobs and so, so tired. Waking up and I'm still exhausted. I cut caffeine out entirely, which isn't helping.

The exhaustion is no joke! I hate that feeling pretty much on par with how much I hate nausea. You’re tougher than me, my one cup (usually only manage half of it though) of coffee a day is critical to my ability to speak to the other humans in my life.

The exhaustion is real. Today I almost cried in relief because friday evenings we do pizza and I could just stick it in the oven. I sliced up bell peppers to put on top and feel I should win a damn award.
Last night I did BLTs with avocado, and pretty much I should win an award, right?
Eta and I used the phrase "win an award" twice... I'm clever (not).

+ whatever I’m feeling tired! I also take a nap and still wake up tired. I’m also getting up twice a night to pee, which is another symptom for me. I have some nausea in the mornings, and if I get super hungry. My boobs have just started being a bit sore. They also feel heavier than normal.
I got cock blocked in my dream last night...LOL! Weird/vivid dreams are not abnormal for me even not pregnant. We haven’t had sex since my FW. I was OOT for part of the TWW, and I’ve been on progesterone, which H doesn’t like. I want to have sex, but I’m scared to.

orangehibiscus I get it. I didn't have sex all of first tri for my successful pregnancy because I was scared to spot and once I started showing my h was weirded out. So it was quite a dry spell.
