tapdancer big hugs. One of the mantras I have saved in my phone was something someone else shared with me, Just because something sad is happening to another poster, does not mean it will happen to you. We all know m/c and complications are not contagious! It feels silly sometimes but reading these every once and a while really makes me feel better. My cousin told me about a month ago that she was pregnant, and her EDD was less than a week than mine would have been (early Feb) with my last CP. It hurt, really bad, when she told me (she knew we've been trying but not about our losses) and I still have a hard time talking to and seeing her, even now that I'm pregnant again. Her son isn't even a year old and I know it was their first try and she just doesn't get it. I worry that I'll lose this pregnancy and have to see her for the next 7 months. So hugs. I'm sorry we're in this boat and please feel free to share however you're feeling whenever you need to ❤ we'll be a shoulder and an ear for you. Eta- and orangehibiscus

Does anyone try to workout? If so are you still doing doing the same things? I’ve been doing Beachbody since May, and working out almost everyday. But I’m still pretty nervous to keep doing it even though I hear it’s fine. I did one today and it seemed to amp up my cramps more, and today when I woke up I wasn’t cramping. But I’ve had a dull ache starting this afternoon and now after my workout it’s just a scootch more. I run (jog) 2 miles most days and I have been scared to since my bfp. I know it's silly.

I had a friend due the same month as my most recent loss and I had to stop talking to her. I just cried most of the last time I saw her and I felt like it was so awkward. I knew any time I interacted it would be tears on my end, so I had to distance myself. I can only imagine how hard working with a person with a similar due date would be.

Thank you pambee and Yogurt. Sometimes it just helps to write it all out. My therapist was away this week but I'm hoping to get in with her next week. She's had her own losses so I know she will be good to talk to about it

I really love that mantra pambee! I just keep thinking that if I can do/eat/whatever all the right things and none of the wrong things, maybe I’ll get to take this baby home.

All the hugs Yogurt! I went back East a few months ago to visit some friends and most of H’s extended family. I have a friend that lives a couple hours away from where we were going, and she had just had her rainbow baby. I couldn’t bring myself to go see her because we were due not far from each other (my first loss). I knew I couldn’t handle it emotionally, even though I wanted to see her. It’s such a weird mix of emotions. You’re so happy for that person, but jealous, angry, hurt, and more. People definitely don’t understand unless they’ve been through it.

Big big hugs for all who need it. I’m so sorry that any of you have had this kind of heartache. I really love that mantra pambee. And the one IRL friend I’ve told has been so kind to me and she reiterated the mantra some of you have said and that is today you are pregnant. Even that much has helped me. Praying for take home babies for each of us. Please don’t hold back, vent when you need to and know we are your people to get everything out when it’s rare IRL.

I had my first beta done this afternoon, and it was 44! That’s my highest first beta ever (13 and 6 we’re the others). I’m cautiously optimistic. I will have another beta on Monday.

I had my beta drawn (OB sent the lab over, and I finally heard back from RE who apparently thought emailing me back @11:15 on the 20th when I wanted an appointment on the 20th was good? They only do monitoring before 10, so thanks I guess?). Lab tech said Dr will have the results today but that it depends on if Dr looks at the results before eob today. Otherwise I'll have to wait til Monday.
But on the plus side, I already have a beta (so #2) set for Monday at 6:30 am. So if I don't hear today, I'll have both results Monday and it won't be too long to wait lol

I've got some nausea today and I'm so happy about it. I told my H last night and he is so excited. I gave him a tiny pair of socks that say I heart Dad. It took him awhile to get it, it was sweet.

Previous loss mentioned
17dpo today, which is the date I lost my first chemical. I am anxious but ready to cross this milestone off my list. It is helping me that I am very nauseous.

I feel terrible and may have cried a little bit about how useless I am around the house/with the kids this weekend. I just feel so tired and nauseated. Im going to ask my doctor to have my iron checked at my next appt, I’ve been anemic before and I’m just searching for anything that would help. Maybe it’s just gonna be waiting out first tri. We have a huge family trip coming up and for 2 back to back weekends we’ll be surrounded by MH’s entire extended family. Idk how I’m going to hide it/rally if I’m still like this. I’m trying to mentally will myself back into the game but it’s not working.

Passing hurdles is huge Yogurt! Celebrate all of them! I’ve heard of others using Unisom and B6 for nausea Tlex. Not sure if you’ve tried that or not. Also, ginger can help. I hope you feel better soon!

We're watching the Handmaid's Tale and I have no idea why I thought this would be a good idea. I'm so interested but dang. Every episode has got me all up in my feels.

Thanks ladies, just venting helps. I feel guilty for how much I wanted this pregnancy and for being so miserable about it now. I want to enjoy it but I’m TOO TIRED!! I don’t dare touch the unisome/B6 combo because I hear it makes you really drowsy and I’m already nearly a danger to the lives around me with my drowsiness! The exhaustion is actually far worse than the nausea. Just whining I guess 😬😞

It is the best show but it gets real rough. Maybe don't binge it, just because with hormones and everything it'll mess with you a bit more than it would if you weren't pregnant.

Hope you feel better soon Tlex! We are here to commiserate. We were watching the Handmaid's Tale, but I found S2E1 so disturbing that I had nightmares, etc. I want to know what happens, but I'm not really interested in watching something that messes with my mind so much right now. I think I'll stick with This Old House (Hulu) and Friday Night Lights, which I'm working through (Amazon Prime).
